I contacted Amos via Angies List and they responded with the information I was looking for. They came out and gave a quote with several different options. I worked with Monty who was easy to work with and professional. He first came out to my house after my work hours so I didn't have to leave work early which is nice. When I arrived he already was onsite and walking around the property after he called for permission. He noticed that the gutters which had been installed the previous fall by another company where improperly installed. I was provided 3 different quote options for repairs, all were reasonable. They were able to get me scheduled quickly (2 weeks) and the work was done quickly, and the install team was quick and professional. They had me check everything before they left to make sure I was satisfied.

The salesman for Amos was present when the insurance adjuster came to view the house. Even before the adjuster arrived, the salesman was telling me that the insurance company had told their adjusters not to pay anything out on claims. He asked if I knew the adjuster's name. When I told him, he said he had worked with this adjuster before and the adjuster didn't know what he was doing and wouldn't approve repairs to the roof. The adjuster and the salesman both looked over the roof, but I ended up asking the salesman to leave my property. I was quite upset over the salesman yelling and cussing at the adjuster while they were on my roof. To my surprise, the same salesman was at a neighbor's house about a week later and actually told the neighbors how he had fought for me with my adjuster and would do the same for them. I quickly let the neighbor know about the discourteous and unnecessary bullying the salesman had engaged in at my property.

Very well would use them again.

We were hit by a hail storm that caused $72,000 in claims for our home and garage. Our home was restored in four months. We have friends that were hit by the same storm and chose to use other contractors. Now a year later, they are still working to get their homes repaired.,We could not have been better pleased at the work performed and the service provided by Amos Exteriors and their contractors. Not enough good things can be said about their sales representative for the diligent interest and expertise he brought to our job. Ray worked very closely on our behalf with our insurance adjustor and our insurance company to be sure that we were treated well and our home's repairs completed correctly. The whole job was completed in a very organized and well conducted manner. Workers for each project were there in a timely manner to make the entire project flow smoothly. We would and do recommend Amos Exteriors.

I never received a phone call from the supervisor nor anyone else from Amos Exteriors. I wasn't completely surprised since when my roof and gutters were installed it was difficult to get questions answered at that time also. When they replaced my roof I asked the site supervisor when they would be working on the garage. He responded that it would not be until the afternoon and I could leave my car in the garage until then. An hour later I look out the window to find that they are removing the garage shingles, and my car is still in the garage. I went to the garage, there was shingles, nails and debris all over the car. The owner came out to the site and proceeded to chew me out. We did resolve the issue. Yet, this job was covered by insurance and the money from the insurance company was slow arriving, arriving three days after the bill to Amos was due. When the bill was due I called Amos and informed them that the insurance money had yet to arrive and that I had called the insurance company and it should arrive in a matter of a few days. Even though the check arrived three days later they still placed a mechanics lean on my home.

Ray met with me and reviewed what Amos Exteriors could offer. He was on time, knowledgable, and professional.

Our salesperson was great. He went over and above for us. We were put on a waiting list due to an over abundance of work. The winter weather set in and we did not hear from them again until we called them. Other than that, we were very pleased with the company and the workmanship. We have done several improvements to our home and our experience with Amos was the best experience by far of any company that we used. We would definitely use them again.

Amos provided good service, workmanship, and clean up. We have had no leaks even with a tough winter and ice. I hope to not install another roof but if we did have too, we would ring up Amos Exteriors.

All went on time with no surprises. Would recommend to any one.

I have no complaints. Everything went great & looks nice & new. Their personnel were nice & pleasant & cleaned up after themselves. No problems with anything to call them back for.

After Maria contacted us, Ray came to our house to inspect for possible hail damage, which ended up being the case. He helped us through the whole process from filing the claim, meeting with the adjuster from our insurance company, to coordinating all of the repairs. The crews were courteous and very fast. Everyone was professional and helpful. They also did a great job cleaning up after each stage of work was done. It looks like a new house and we couldn't be happier.

We called Amos Exteriors for an estimate on a gutter repair and gutter covers initially but then found out we had hail damage to our roof. Ray worked with our insurance company and the contractor that just installed our pergola to get all of the details coordinated and resolved. We got a brand new roof and gutters along with the gutter covers we originally wanted. They look great and the appearance of our home has been enhanced! The lines of communication were very open and we always felt free to call if we had any questions. While we never look forward to the cost of home improvements, we will definitely call Ray again when needed!

The proof is in the puding, my grandma used to say. This fall's heavy rains tested the roofing job and it held up. Now, the wet snows of the winter frozen solid by the arctic air have burdened both roof and guttering. All is well! We are dry, safe, and thankful for Ray & Amos Exteriors. I am glad I called!

We used Amos Exteriors for replacing our roof last summer. They were friendly, efficient, and attended to items that were not orginially included....so we were very pleased with the extra service. Of course, they were the ones who talked with the insurance company instead of us....which was a relief, too.

I really appreciated all the help with my insurance claim. The roofing and gutters look great. Ray even made sure my sheds roof matched the house, though the insurance adjuster didn't include it. I am very happy with the work and enjoyed the experience working with Amos.

Amos Exteriors worked "for me" when I received hail damage to my home. The insurance adjuster only approved roof damage until Amos got involved. Besides a new roof, I got all new siding & gutters, thanks to Ray. Their crews jumped right in and completed all of the work within a couple of weeks, very timely! After a hail storm damaged our house, we had a very good experience with Ray taking care of everything. He was here when the insurance adjuster was here and went over the house with him. He handled all the paperwork and made things easy for me. Everything was done to my satisfaction. Everyone was very professional.

I was really impressed with their presentation about the service that Amos provides and the reputation they have within the industry. Amos is an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor. For that reason I really didn't need to think twice about signing a contract for a new roof and gutter system with them. Amos has received a great recognition in the industry. I would certainly recommend Amos for speedy service and good workmanship.

We were very pleased with the speed and the professionalism of Amos Exteriors, Ray our representative, and their workers that installed the roof and gutters. The appearance of the house, even though an older home made a big difference to the neighborhood. We highly recommend them.

They were knowledgeable and experienced with doing the evaluation, repair estimate and the actual repairs. They agreed to do all the work for the amount initially authorized by the insurance company. Their workers were professional and completed the work promptly. They also performed several inspections to verify the workers completed the work correctly and to my satisfaction.

Excellent and efficient estimating and job completion quality. Cleanup was very good and much better than expected. Jody, the estimator, was fabulous to work with - very accessible, professional, and personable. Office staff was outstanding and very supportive of the work required and completed. Had a problem with a couple of bent screen frames, but Amos is standing behind the work and making it right. Very satisfied with how they are handling this matter! Gutter work done perfectly and within two visits. Cleanup for them was fantastic too. Very good subcontractor.

I am very pleased with the results and all work was done in a professional and timely matter. Not only would I highly recommend Amos Exteriors, I will also most certainly use them again in the future.

As far as the actual physical work done they did a very good job and got it done in one day. What I was disappointed with were their business practices. This was a situation where we had just purchased the house and the previous owners had made the claim with their insurance. Amos took payment for services before they were rendered. Then, I spent over two months chasing them up to schedule the work to be done. I had my phone calls returned only once the entire time that I was trying to get the work sorted out. This caused a lot of stress as I was starting to think I had a situation of taking the money and running on my hands. We didn't get any real response or attempt from them to schedule anything until my fiance sent a very strongly worded e-mail voicing our disappointment and concerns. Also, we scheduled them to come and do the roof on a specific day and siding on another. The roofers showed up over 3 hours early (which I understand due to heat) but they did not even give me a courtesy call the night before letting me know they would show up to the house at 6 a.m. In my opinion that early is unacceptable without warning (what if I had a baby sleeping at the house?). Also, the siders did not show up on the day they said they would, but two days later with absolutely no calls or explanation for why they didn't come on time. Unfortunately I didn't get to pick my contractor in this case, but I would never choose them again nor would I suggest them to anyone else unless you are looking for a massive headache scheduling wise.
