Price was within all my quotes. He would call and tell me if he was running late or couldn't make the appointment. They were very organized and cleaned up after themselves. They did the job in two days.

I have no problem with the company, but the subcontractor was lousy. He wanted to come over and so some extra work. I feel he was a crook.

We contacted Amos on 6/14 to get an estimate for roof and siding repair. They scheduled the estimate for 6/22. The representative arrived, when scheduled and returned on 6/26 to present the written estimate. Price for roof and entire house re-siding was comparable to other contractors, but we chose someone else to do the work.

Had some difficulty in scheduling the estimate, but when he came was quick and ready to go. It was about a 4-6 week wait time given all the roofing needs in the area. Work was completed in two days. There was almost no trace that they had been here when they left. There was another 6 weeks for the gutters. When they came to install the gutters, determined I needed gutter boards as there was really nothing preventing water from entering behind siding and sofits. This prompted another two week delay, but the work was done in 4-6 hours. Delays were also caused by me as I was having the house painted as well. The roof and gutters are perfect and I am very happy with the work Amos did.

They did a good job on both the siding and gutters. Completed the job much faster than other companies told me it would take. The work done was very good and I would highly recommend Amos Exteriors.

The work was performed to my complete satisfaction and they completed the job much sooner than other companies told me it would take. Robert Webb took care of everything, including several trips to my insurance company's office because additional funds were needed. He handled it all and had his best crew replace the roof, of which I've received several compliments from my neighbors. The roof looks great and I would definitely recommend Amos Exteriors to anyone needing new roofing.

It went great. We were very pleased. The company kept us informed when we would receive supplies and what we needed to do and when the crew would be putting the roof on. It took several weeks, but given the fact that every roof in central Indiana needed fixed, we thought it was done in a reasonable time frame. Job was done well and clean-up was great. Questions and concerns were addressed immediately.

We had one side of our house damaged by the hail storm last spring. The salesman got a sample so we could check the color from the original manufacturer, even though this isn't the supplier they usually work with. The work was finally done last week. It looks really good. It actually looks much better around the outside faucet than when the original was installed 16 years ago by our builder. We are still waiting to get the down spouts installed.

I called and scheduled and appointment to have get and estimate for a new roof. They failed to show up for the appointment. I called to reschedule. Matt showed up and was very helpful and informative. We chose another roofer based on price and a recommendation from someone who had found another company on Angie's List and were very happy with the work done.

The initial contact and estimate was done professionally. An appointment was set quickly, and the estimator arrived on time. He answered all my questions, and I felt comfortable that the job would be done right. I had to wait over a month and began to lose my confidence. However, after I contacted the company, I got a firm date, and the job was completed. The roofing crew was fast and seemed to be competent. It may have been a sub contractor, as the company is very busy. I was a little disappointed. An Amos rep did come by at the start, for flashing the chimney, and to put a cap on the chimney. Overall, I was satisfied when the job was done. The cost was higher than my neighbor with a similar roof, but his had been done 2 years prior. I would use them again for other work.

We were very pleased with Amos Exteriors. With the extensive hail damage in our area it did take longer than usual, but the salesman worked with our insurance company to get the correct payment. The salesman was very helpful and patient when I couldn't decide on roofing color or style. He helped us decide about the necessity of ice and water shield and drip edge. These are things I had never heard about before. The workers cleaned up when the job was finished. I did have a concern after the job was complete, but an employee came out and fixed the issue promptly. Also, the price was very competitive and the salesman even through in a couple of extras at no charge. We looked at a lot of different roofing companies, but we made the right choice with Amos.

They were prompt in getting us an estimate for the hail damage to vinyl siding, roof, gutters, interior work a AC unit. The crew did a good job on the roof and cleaned up the site although they didn't speak English and weren't able to answer our questions. After 3 weeks, we still hadn't received notice about when the remaining work would be done. The manager finally said he didn't know they were to install gutters, fix interior leak, vinyl siding, etc. We cancelled the remaining work after we rec'd phone call asking for full payment before work was done. Against our wishes, the gutters were installed and we were billed. We called and reminded them the work had been cancelled. After 2 more calls, the company sent us a paid in full receipt. We did not pay for the gutters. We also learned that they don't do interior work even though it was included in their estimate. They did resolve the problem but it was very time consuming and we had to find someone else to finish the interior work.

On time, good follow through, reasonably priced and good quality.

They responded very quickly. They were prompt and professional. They were very open. They took their time. They were thorough.

They have helped a lot and I could not ask for a better experience. I called eight different places and they were the only that respond.

My overall experience with this company was very bad!!!!!!!!!!

The roof was installed in mid July. They said they would be back in 2-3 weeks to install the gutters and new soffits. It is now September 6th, and they have not started the soffits and gutters. I have contacted them, and they say that the supplies still have not come in, which I do not believe is true. In the contract, it is stated that I would removed the gutters, which I have done. My house does not look nice because there are no gutters. Also, I am trying to refinance my house and I cannot do so until the new soffits and gutters are installed (I am paying an extra $150 per month until this is done). I have informed Amos of this, and it does not matter to them.

After some communication issues I finally got a visit from Mike Amos. He was very courteous & apologetic about the problems I had in reaching him. He was well informed as to the product, and we chose one color,then decided on another that he didn't think they carried anymore. But, made a quick call and they did still carry it. He brought a sample to me so I could see the actual shingle, was very polite about everything. Then we had a small issue about the soffit's in that I needed an additional WRITTEN quote to submit to my insurance company. He did get back out and we finally got that quote, all was submitted the next day by me to my company. They graciously rewrote a check for the amount needed. From there work progressed fairly rapidly, weather permitting. I now have the work completed in what I think was a timely manner, all workers were polite, cleaned area after completion of each installation, (there were (3) different work crews). Am very satisfied with work at this point.

I was impressed with this company from the moment I spoke with them on the phone. When Robert came out to do the estimate, he was very friendly and explained the processes clearly. He negotiated with my insurance company. As soon as the job was approved, he was out with samples and the final paperwork. The crew worked quickly and efficently, while keeping the yard clean (they even swept the garage floor). I don't have any complaints with the work they did. I would certainly recommend them to a friend!

They were great to work with and very professional. We went with another contractor for reasons Amos could not control, but it was not because they weren't prompt, professional, or courteous.

I have called them, Amos Exteriors, and left messages three (3) times now to ask them to "PLEASE" come out and give me a written estimate to replace these, so I can forward both copies to my insurance company. I have yet to hear from them. I'm sure my insurance company is waiting to hear back from me. I also was never given a date to expect the work started. They also left me with a copy of a building permit for me to fill out and mail without an expected completion date.

Polite, responsible, on time and did an excellent job, including clean up.

As listed in the roofing category, Andy Schaeffer was very knowledgeable about the work to be done. He always phone and/or appeared precisely when promised. Despite the very good installation job, the siding team left me with only a tiny bit of discomfort. While the boss on the crew was extremely adept at his profession, he spoke only fair English. I did have to communicate with him a few times, and I was never completely sure he got what I was saying. Had I not been home, we would have had no problem. If there had been any major disagreement, I would have had to call Andy to translate. Still, the siding crew did good work.

Andy Schaeffer was very knowledgeable about the work to be performed. He was always prompt about calling or appearing as promised. The roofing crew was professional and good at what they did. I had very little direct contact with them, but whenever contact did happen, they were extremely polite.
