My main complaint was that none of the crew spoke English and they could not answer a simple question. They left the plastic bags from the new roofing just fall where ever and it was a windy day so some blew away. They did pick up the bags that were left at the end of the job. I found some of their trash that they failed to pickup a week later. They took items from a flower bed so that they could get their ladder closer. This didn't bother me but they didn't bother to replace the items when they were done. One of the flower pots was turned over and it was left that way, destroying the plant that was in the pot. When they were finished, they just left. They did not ask me to inspect the job. No one from the company has contacted me to see if I was satisfied with the job.

From the first phone call requesting estimate through the completion of the project everyone I encountered was very pleasant and professional. I chose this company based on a recommendation of a friend and I couldn't be happier with the results.

The siding job was good but I am having some issues with the new soffit as well as the roof. They did respond quickly to my complaints but I was still disappointed with the quality of their work.

They looked good when they put the gutters on. But when the rain started they didn't hold up, they ended up just hanging with water running off of them. The company was relatively quick to respond but the quality of work was very poor. And all in all I was disappointed.

We thought they did a great job. They were there when they said they would be, did the job in a timely basis and we thought their prices were very good and much less than other quotes.

Mr. Amos came out and gave me an estimate. The seven man crew always came on time. The foreman gave them their orders and they went to work. They had good work ethic. They were just a great group of guys to have around.

This is a wonderful company to work with. We love the job they did on our home. It looks outstanding. They spent a great deal of time making sure everything looked perfect. Dave was a pleasure to work with and worked hard to do a great job. I would highly recommend this company for any house painting jobs you have.

They went out of their way to work in this job. They were very prompt, clean, and friendly. They know what they are doing and the gutter looks just like it did before. I was very pleased with the service.

The gentleman that came out was good about doing the work in a timely fashion, but the final appearance was not what we had hoped for. When we went to them about it, he had us confused with another customer and was not very nice. He called us back to apologize.

They went above and beyond the call of duty for the job. This all includes other jobs like gutters and soffits.

We also used them for a gutter job as well. They are very responsible.

Everything looks real good. They were on time and quick. They were always here when they said they would be.

I feel they misinformed me about the roof's color since Matt promised I would receive a sample of the roof's color before the job was started. I was also promised to be given a $200 check from them when the work was finished. He later said, he would just give me a credit for this amount but I can't see where he ever gave me a credit for that much. After the work was done, I told the company I was unhappy with the color of the roof & they told me they could put on another roof over the new one but they would have to charge me another $1500. They also left nails sticking out when they installed the gutters which they later came back & fixed. I would not hire this company again or recommend them.

We did not hear anything for several weeks (4+), so I called again. I was told that person had left the company, they apologized and promptly sent out another representative to give another estimate. Again, we did not hear anything for several weeks (5-6). Since it was now early winter, I decided to wait until the spring. Late February-early March 2007, I contacted them again. Once again, that person had left the company, apology and another estimate. Due to my frustration, but agreement to stay with the company, I was told we would 'work out' the cost. After the work was complete in May 2007, but prior to receiving the payment from the insurance company, I was threatened to pay my bill or a lien would be placed on my property. Patty suggested I send in a post-dated check and assured me it would not be cashed....not only was it cashed, but the cost was not 'worked out' as I was promised.

The overall experience was very good. They arrived promptly on the scheduled day and completed the job the following day as scheduled. They were very professional, efficient, polite and comfortable to have around the yard. The house and surrounding yard were clean when they left.

I wasn't too pleased with the appearance of the roof (not the traditional smooth shingle). They were in a rush the day they came. The supervisor of Amos came out while it was being done and noticed some things that he fixed. I was pleased with him and glad he noticed the problems. I think they tried, I think they were in a hurry and maybe the look of the shingle is just not what I expected.

The man from Amos roofing talked to the adjuster that as to meet us at the house for the evaluation as well. When the adjuster arrived I had to call and see if Amos was going to make it to the appointment. He said he wasn't coming because he took the adjusters word that everything was okay with the roof. I thought this was very unprofessional.

We were extremely happy with the results. A crew of 10 or more roofers worked from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. to make sure all work was completed. It was a very hot day and they worked steady all day long. They cleaned up extremely well and left nothing on the ground. We were very pleased with the results and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good quality roofing company.

Our house is 35 years old and the original roof started to leak overnight. Contacted several roofers but they all were slow to respond except Amos. They were aware of my leak and prioritized so that they replaced my roof within one week of my call. Showed up and nearly completed the job in one day (they told me in advance that it would take 2 days). Were a little slow to return the next day but did show up late in the day and completed the job. Cleaned the area thoroughly after completing the job (on the 3rd day) and after the clean-up, you could not tell they had been here at all. They took extra care to protect landscaping around the house and were very accommodating to our needs.

They were a little slow due to using subs. Once they did get started they did a good job. I would use them again.

When the siding was put on, it would have been helpful if at least one person on the team could have spoke English. The workers were very hardworking and polite. They also did a good clean up job.

We chose this company based off their advertisement in Angie's List. They were very good. Their bid was lower than what our insurance company quoted, so our insurance man was happy too!

I called for an estimate. Matt returned my call in a reasonable amount of time. We set an appointment. He arrived at the set time, looked at the job, and made a preliminary estimate on having the work done. He also indicated a willingness to work with my insurance company in order to find a workable solution. He was here and gone within 30 minutes. Due to the number of roofs being done after the hailstorm, it was awhile before my job could be scheduled. Once it was scheduled, the work was completed within three days. They completely cleaned up the area following the roof tear-off. Also, there was no debris or trash left after the new roof was installed. I did not have to be home while they performed the work. This allowed me to keep working while my new roof was being installed. When it came time to pay, they were helpful and accommodating (insurance covered over half of the cost). They were willing to allow the balance to be on credit.

I talked to the owner (Bob Amos) that morning because there was a warning of rain. He assured me they would not take off more roof than they could finish that day, but they did. They tore off the full roof, and only completed half. The crew then left at 6:20 that evening without putting on a tarp. I called Bob, he came out as well as a supervisor, and the two of them put on a tarp, but sis not have it nailed properly. They came back one week later to complete the job. However, they have not yet completed it to my satisfaction nor have they completed it per the contract. These problems include, but are not limited to, not completing the job in one day, shingles are not laid according to manufacturers directions, things I have paid extra for have not been adhered to. I had a leak which they repaired using caulk. I now have a trashed ceiling because of work. I have had numerous other problems. I hired an independent inspector, and have been threatened with a lien.

I worked with Andy Schaeffer, and he was very helpful in dealing with my insurance company. However, it was frustrating nailing down exactly when the various crews were going to be at my house. I am pleased with the final results, and the roof looks great. The roofing crew did a very thorough job cleaning up my yard.
