The experience didn't go very well. They lost an 11' x 8' rug. When I spoke to someone in the office, they said that they were researching it. I was sent a claim for to fill out for the rug. I had an antique chair that when they delivered, it was in 4 pieces. I didn't receive any kind of apologize for them breaking my chair. The chair has been repaired but I've been told that you can no longer sit in it. I had two brass table lamps that when they were delivered they were bent at a severe angle which would have required a great deal of force. The lamps have been repaired but not to their original form - both are still leaning. They lost a box of towels so I now only have 1 towel for myself. They took apart my roll top desk and when they put it back together, it now moves along the top. When they brought in the chair, lamps and never delivered the rug, I informed the movers that I wasn't going to sign anything. Scott Krenz and everyone I dealt with was very nice throughout the process prior to the move. Since the move, I have spoken with Chris once. He said that they are putting a tracer on the rug and other items but I still haven't heard back. It's been about 3 weeks from my move. I noticed this week that American Red Ball has already charged my card for the move. I didn't sign anything and I thought we were still negioating because of the lost/broken items. I have put a dispute on the charge with my credit card company until the items have been found or replaced. I have also paid for all of the repairs up to this point and have had no information about if they will reimburse me for those expenses.
Description of Work: American Red Ball moved me from one home to another. They had my belongings in storage for 3 months between residences.
