AMERICAN LEAK DETECTION- INDIANAPOLIS

I called and was told they were several weeks out and I agreed to be put on the schedule. My wife stayed home to be there when they arrive, WHICH THEY DID'NT, I called and they said they had no record of us calling although my iPhone log verified I did-they said they would ' call back tomorrow' to reschedule, THEY DID NOT. Thanks for wasting my time, right?

They were able to locate the leak using all of their high tech equipment, which included a thermal camera and different types of sound equipment. They feel pretty confident on the area marked, so now I need to hire a plumber to jackhammer the area and repair the leak. If for some reason this isnt the area, they assured me they would come back at no charge when the plumber is here to re-evaluate the situation. I will post an update when the work is completed by the plumber to let everyone know if indeed they saved a lot of demolition trying to locate a pesky pin hole leak.

They were prompt and very professional. I felt this was money well spent as the repair for this would entail cutting a hole through the foundation in my kitchen so it was important to me to have this leak pinpointed as closely as possible. When the repair was made, the leak was within 8-12and quot; of where it had been marked.

After leaving several messages and after several days my plumber called them and they came the next day. There were problems locating the leak. At the first marked location the plumber cut the first hole in the floor found no leak there. I called and left a message and explained the situation when the technician called back. The technician came and after an hour of extensive searching he marked another location which was at least 7 feet away in another room. The plumber cut a hole at the second location there was no leak there either; but there were some signs of moisture. Due to lack of time to have Leak Detectors come back the plumber then cut another hole at a location about 24and quot; away and found the leak. There was considerable extra cost due to the additional holes having to be cut into the foundation and carpet having to stretched at the first hole. I probably should have called back a third time but I was out of time due to work issues. This vendor called me and discussed the issues and agreed that there were problems and has made a full refund for the services rendered; they have proven that they are an honest service provider and are sincerely concerned with providing excellent service.

When I phoned the company and spoke with the manager and explained the problem they set up an appointment. The Provider checked the water lines using air pressure to locate the leaks. The technician was thorough and found the leak locations. Water was turned off since this is a HUD property and we were unable to test the actual water lines until the leaks were found. American Leak Detection does exactly what they are suppose to do and that is to locate leaks, they do not repair water lines. I would use this company again. I am a realtor and this work was performed at a property being purchased by my client.

Mike and coworker (sorry don't remember his name) made time to come out before Mike would be out of town for the next two days. They listened to my problem, hooked up a line to my washer spigot and immediately found that the leak was right below where the water was coming up. Mike then took the time to cut out some of the drywall and wrapped a towel so that water would come into the garage as opposed to going down the wall. Then they took the time to move my washer/dryer into the garage so that I would not have to. I really appreciated that! They were very professional but had a wonderful attitude. If it wasn't for the plumbing issue, it would have been a pleasure to deal with them!!

They were quick to come out located the leak but were wrong about where the actual main plumbing lines were.

After I explained what information I had in regards to the source of the leak, the technicians were able to detect the source of the leak by using an instrument that can detect moisture in a wall. One of the technicians was able to get in our crawl space and saw evidence of moisture in there. They were able to find out exactly where the water was coming in the house.

I had used them before when there was a leak and they were the only ones who found that leak with their equipment. Everybody had equipments that told them there was a leak or not but it could not find where the leak was. They were able to tell me exactly where the leak was.

Other people who repair pools use these folks to find leaks, so it was recommended that I go straight to the source. Leak was fixed, but concrete work initially (bad day, rain, etc.) was not good. After a call, I was overwhelmed with how quickly they not only fixed the problem but also made sure it was ok, and sent me a small gift. Great customer service.

We are thankful the company was able to precisely locate the leak, so we only had to disturb a small section of concrete. Altho the place they repaired is somewhat noticeable, the concrete is level and matches as best it can. This method of repair is much preferred to replacing an entire section of the concrete deck and tearing up the yard.

I had an inspection on the house that I did end up buying and was concerned that there might be a water leak in one of the pipes under the slab. American Leak Detection determined that there was no leak. They came out really quickly. It was expensive. They were there for half an hour. If I had had a leak, they would have saved me a lot of money, so it was worth it.

I called them at around 11am and they were at my house by 1pm the same day. The technician found the leak rather quickly - within 20 minutes and walked me through what he did and why he was confident the leak was where he said it would be. I am happy to say he nailed it - to be more accurate he would have to have X-ray vision. He used compressed air hooked up to the hot water side of my plumbing and listened for rushing air and bubble - the sound was rather loud - indicating it was close to the surface. His job made me feel better about hiring a plumber to break into the slab and know that I was not going to have holes all over my house. They also aoofer a 30 day guarantee. They can only find one leak at a time so if there was more than one leak, then they would come back and find the second at no additional charge. The leak was in my laundry room and I ahd removed the washer and dryer as well as removed the water damaged basebaords and some drywall - this made things easier for him and ultimately for me. The better job they do detecting the leak, the better off you will be!

They were very knowledgeable and did a great job. I thought that the quality of work was very good.

We didn't get the problem solved, our pool still leaks. They went out and found some leaks here and there. But the pool always had some leaks in it. The job was not concluded. We are considering someone else this summer. They were a very busy company and they were hard to schedule. We were not satisfied as the job was never really concluded. I can't say much about quality when the job was not done. I have no complaints about their professionalism. They may be the only company in town so I don't have a choice. I might not get it fixed I will get the whole thing re-done. That's the only service I will use them again for but instead of detecting leaks, I won't have anyone for that I will resurface the whole pool.

have a problem with water consolidating in my ducts , they came out to see if it was an leak from my well, was very prompt and explained things well. They did adjust my water pump at a N/C .

We liked that they actually returned our phone call because the other places didn't call back. The person that came out was wonderful. We would recommend them.

It was a complicated situation because it turned out that it couldn’t be fixed without pulling the tub out. They did diagnose exactly what was going on. I was satisfied with their service. It helped me figure out that I have a bigger project than I thought. I would use their services if I have a pool or spa anymore.

They were great. The amount paid was a little pricey. They were very informative and professional. They explained what they were doing and I recommend them. They were excellent overall. If need be, then I would use their services in the future too.

Overall they did a great job. When they came in they introduced themselves. Ask several questions and went right to work. They didn't waste any time and found the problem quickly.

They do very good work. They are puncutal and come on time. They have the ability to put cameras in your sewer lines to see if there's any major clogs, and I plan on using them for this for our house and a rental property.

A huge leap in the water bill indicated there was a water leak somewhere but we couldn't find it. The technician came out and determined it was not an indoor leak. Then he traced the incoming water service, quickly finding an underground leak. While the price was steep, it was a fair price to find a serious problem.
