Description of Work: American Irrigation Inc. came over and moved two sprinkler heads and capped one which was no longer needed. They also moved the other sprinkler head away from that area in such a way that it would not come in the way.

+ -1 moreAmerican Irrigation was great to work with - they were extremely careful with our plants while installing our irrigation system and they had to hand dig a large portion as most of our back yard is planting beds rather than lawn. The mulch was put back neater than when they started! They did a very good job of explaining how the system will work.
Description of Work: American Irrigation installed an automatic irrigation system for our front yard which is mostly lawn and our backyard which is mostly planting beds requiring different types of irrigation.

+ -1 moreNorm and Libby were hands down one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a long time, and I would recommend them to anyone. I am already down on their customer list - they automatically contact all of their customers in the spring for required backflow testing, and in the fall to remind everyone when it's time to winterize. Thank you Norm and Libby!
Description of Work: Bought a new home, and because the system wasn't winterized correctly, had to have someone come repair the backflow system after cracking during a freeze. Libby was extremely helpful and professional, at one point even explained to me how to turn the water off to the irrigation system and turn the water back on to the house (without billing me). I asked if she could have Norm come out and help me, I would be happy to pay for a service call. Norm came out and found a valve needed to be replaced, and applied the service call payment to the overall repair. The repair was done the next day! I wasn't at the house, so I asked Norm if he felt comfortable accessing the house with thru a lock box and check to be sure the water was working okay - he was happy to help! These guys go above and beyond!

+ -1 moreI got three quotes for my 0.4 acre yard. The big local supplier came back at $5500 for 11 zones, American Irrigation was $4000 for 11 zones, and a third quote was $3600 for 6 zones. Obviously American Irrigation was the best value for my yard. Overall, this was a fantastic installation. Norm, his crew chief Billy, and the rest of the crew did a great job with the installation and start-up. Norm met me in person the day after I called and answered all of my questions. They began work a day or two later and finished in about 4 working days. I was impressed by the expertise and knowledge of the entire crew and they were very professional. I have and will continue to recommend American Irrigation to friends.

+ -1 moreWhen I called and spoke to one of the owners she said they would have someone out by 8:00 am the day the work was completed. The repair guy was prompt and went right to work inspecting the possible damage. Informed me what it was and said he would need to call the office to explain the situation and get a quote. The quote was reasonable so I agreed to have them do the work. Very professional,knowledgeable, cuteous, and kind. All work was completed within one hour, and he said they would send me the invoice later in the mail.
Description of Work: Repaired the back flow valve that was ruptured by the gentleman who cuts my lawn. Inspected the spinkler valves, and discovered they were missing nozzles to help control water spray.

+ -1 moreIn the spring, someone from the office now calls us to let us know when technicians will be out to check out our system. They give us plenty of notice, and do not need us to be home when they come. When we are home, the guys are very happy to answer all of our questions. One guy will toggle the controller from station to station, while the other watches to make sure everything looks right. Any needed repairs are made. In the fall we get a call and the guys come back to remove the water from the lines so they do not freeze.
Description of Work: Preparing the irrigation system for the watering season.
