Alpine group came out and gave us an estimate. We liked their professional manner and price and they performed the work a week later. They were quite efficient and cleaned up when they were done. Very pleased with this company.

I only got an estimate from Gary. He was able to come out to our home on the same day that I called. He spent about an hour at our home, checking in all of the attic areas and then was very honest about the fact that there was work that he could do for us, but that he wasn't sure it would solve our problems. He even went as far as to tell me how we could do it ourselves if we chose to. So, we didn't have any work done this time, but will definitely call Alpine if or when we have other issues in the future!

The Alpine technician, Shawn Gammon, was super! He introduced himself at the door, and walked me through the entire process, explaining what he was doing and why. He and his assistant were friendly, neat and pleasant to be around, and the whole process was completed within less time than I expected. They also arrived promptly when they said they would!

Two young men met my dad at my house. They were on time. He said they were very neat and professional. He said they did their job and cleaned up afterwords.

Everything was fine except the side effects. There were three men here and I was the one that noticed that black dust was covering everything in the room. It hadn't been done in about thirty years, but they didn't notice anything wrong. They thought everything went well. They are sending out a cleaning service to clean their mess. I'm so disappointed it is hard for me to give them a good grade in anything. They were friendly and punctual.

It went great. He had some suggestions that we didn't know could be done.

Alpine group was outstanding. Not only did they insulate the attic the removed a heavy mold infestation in the middle of winter. The owner then came back 4 months later and went into the attic just to make sure all was good. Very impressive.

The guys were marvelous. Owner returned my call efficiently, gave me an exact quote on the phone (saving us both time) and set the date. Owner called to let me know the guys were delayed (much appreciated). The 2 magicians arrived with their magic machine and sucked the gross stuff out, now my air ducts are sparkling clean! My dryer heats so much faster, I am saving money in electricity no doubt. Not to mention, who knows what kinds of icky things were lurking in the dark, dusty air ducts. The guys were great! Very positive attitudes. Very considerate of my pets, closed the doors and gates so my precious pooches wouldn't escape. Was sure to not step on my toddler running around with wild curiosity about their amazing task! They finished and and the only trace that they were gone was the fact that they took the dust mites with them! They were so professional and nice I would recommend them to everyone!

Put in blown-in insulation. He was reasonable, he gave me a price. He did what he said he would, he is very ethical and good price.

Everything went well and happened as it had been described beforehand. The crew pumped insulation into an old attic which needed an upgrade in the amount and quality of insulation. The material went from their truck through a tube placed through the attic trap door. The crew protected the closet contents and cleaned everything up. There was no mess and very little noise.

Good experience. Gary came for estimate and was able to schedule the work for the next week. Upon their arrival, I asked if they could also clean the dryer vent. Gary was able to work out crew schedules and get it done on the spot for a very reasonable cost. They were on time, considerate about containing the mess and finished within a few hours.

It went fine! The owner seemed very knowledgeable. The crew was young (perhaps high school or college students). They seemed to know what they were doing, but thew were not uniformed and they were young. They left a few registers not completely back in place and there was some debris visible when they were done around 2 of the registers.

8/23/07 Garry Steinke thoroughly examined our interior, garage attic and crawl space, made recommendations and informed us on what could be done to improve our heating/cooling problems in the rooms mentioned above. He provided us an estimate. The next day we decided to request work be done. 8/31/07 Ian and Andrew reported as scheduled. They were friendly, businesslike and worked efficiently. The work was completed in approximately two hours. Only time will tell if the work improves temperature control in the rooms. We are hopeful!

They arrived on time. However I was not impressed with their work. They didn't bring anything to cover the vents, so they had to borrow sheets of paper to cover the duct vents. While they did clean the ducts, I question as to how effective the job was. I still find dust every where. Also they had pulled some corners off of the cold air returns and did not re-attach them. Also I opened some of the ducts after they had left (they were closed before they did work) and was completely covered in dust and soot, indicating they had not cleaned those ducts. 4 found in this condition. They came highly regarded from another company I had out doing other work, and I have to say I am not impressed with their level of service for the price.

They were friendly, cooperative, and cleaned up well when they left. They were very honest and we would use them again.

Gary came out promptly and gave us an estimate and scheduled the job for this morning between 9:00 and 9:30. At about 9:25 the guys arrived, went straight to work and had the job completed before 11:00.

I was not present during the cleaning procedure; however, I called home to find out if the worker(s) had arrived. I could hear the vacuum system over the phone. I also assessed from the time I called and the time of the appointment that the cleaning took at least 1 1/2 hours by that time. So, I was impressed that it was not a rushed job. The work was completed when I came home in the evening and I am pleased with the results. The vents had not been cleaned in many years and I could immediately tell the difference when I dusted the furniture; dust did not settle within minutes like before the cleaning.

Gary Steinke returned my message to arrange an estimate within 48 hours. He was conscientious about working around my work schedule in suggesting times for the estimate, which happened within a few days. Although I was concerned about the moldy, falling insulation in the ceiling, he explained that the more important fix to my problem (too hot in the upstairs room) was to add insulation where it wasn't: Under the floor, along where the air vents come up from the basement, & along the knee walls between the long and sizable attic closets and our interior walls. Basically, we were wasting energy to cool an area that isn't living space. He was very careful about removing his shoes & to not move dirt into the living space, as were his two crew members who performed the work within a week. Mr. Steinke met them at first to give clear instructions, then they completed the work in less time than estimated (3 hours vs. 4). Gave $100 Angie's List discount. It's much cooler now.

These guys saved the day for me! I had hired another company to come out and clean my homes air ducts ($59.95 newspaper "special"). When they came out, they told me my system was full of mold and it would cost about $3000 to fix. I immediately joined Angie's List on line and called Alpine for a second opinion. I spoke to the owner, Garry, and he personally came out with his crew for the inspection. They found no mold (whew!) but did find that the previous company had not cleaned all the ducts as they said. He cut me a deal in light of the pain I had already suffered and cleaned the remaining ducts for a very reasonable price. These people are awesome, trustworthy, professional and do a great job. Thanks Garry and crew!

The dryer works again! Very thorough.

I called Alpine Group when the duct cleaner I had hired didn't show (and a new HVAC system was being installed the next morning, so I needed the ducts cleaned ASAP). Garry Steinke pulled a crew off a commercial job to help me out, which was above and beyond the call. His crew showed up on time and were helpful and informative, giving me information on another service Alpine provides which I had been seeking, without being at all pushy. Crew got right to work and did a terrific job. My house smelled better immediately.

The company showed up on time, but with a lot more people than I expected. They explained the process, counted vents (I was two over the original est imate). They did the job within about 1 to 1.45 hours. They do tell you what was in your vent - funny the stuff that gathers over the years. The only unfortunate part was that we didn't realize (a big duh for us) that the tubes would run outside, which meant that the doors would be open. The weather had been warm - until the day we had this done. It happened to be a very chilly day with the doors wide open. So plan this for warmer weather.

We received an estimate from Alpine and another business. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the Alpine representative. Alpine's estimate came in about $200 higher than the other provider's estimate. We contacted Gary (I believe it was Gary--I can't quite remember) and let him know that we really wanted Alpine to do the work, but that another estimate came in significantly lower. Gary worked with us, and although he couldn't go as low as the other estimate, we came to a price we agreed upon. When it came time to do the work, Alpine was here on time, was courteous and clean, and got the work done in the time indicated. We'd definitely use them again.

They did a very nice job and were delightful. One of the guys didn't put the furnace door back on properly so the furnace wasn't working. I had to call our furnace people to come out and Alpine reimbursed me for that charge. They gave us discounts on the work that they did. I thought they were very neat and professional and arrived on time. They took less time to do the work than their estimated time.
