Received three estimates whch were similar in price. Alpine was fastest to reply . Their estimate was for top quality materials ( as opposed to my having to request). Opening to attic in house is small and hard to enter. They examined the space , estimated material amount needed and checked baffles for air flow. Completed job and cleaned the entrance quckly.

Returned my call promptly and made an appointment to look at the house. He was punctual to the dot, estimated the job as though he had done hundreds of them, and set a day to do the job. A few days later he called and said that the job would take more time than he first thought and added another half day, no additional charge. The day before the job his man called to set the time, considering our schedule. They were there on the dot with a big truck with their filters, blowers etc. mounted in it, and did the duct cleaning in a few hours. The next day they phoned to say they would be 30 minutes late and arrived on the dot in a different truck with the insulation equipment in it. One man took care of the dryer vent while the other set up the equipment. The senior operator worked in the attic at the end of the hose, distributing insulation and the other fed insulation into the blower, and they were gone before lunch time. It was obvious that the men were well trained in the work and that they respected the customer, as well as the company for which they work. There was no wasted time and no carelessness. The workers were polite, friendly, and appropriately respectful at all times. They were appropriately dressed for the work they do. The work they do is messy by its nature, and they took appropriate care in cleaning up with vacuum cleaners etc. after completing the work. There was no loose insulation or bits of wrapping paper in the yard when they were done. The trucks were well cared for and painted with the company name etc., and the men wore company shirts.

No job was performed because I had to cancel due to being out of town. I will use them for their services when I get back. They have great feedback from other members on Angie's List and Dave is very knowledgeable. That is why I am going to use them.

Representative of Alpine, visited and provided estimate and scheduled service. Then arrived on time and did job. All personal courteous, competent, they took on an ugly job and did very well.

There was more work than estimated. Cleaning out attic.

The entire experience was excellent... On the first day, owner Dave Adams walked the property (interior and exterior) with the technicians, describing all that needed to be done. They got to work immediately, wrapping and protecting our furniture and floors. They worked diligently on the mold in the crawl spaces for 2 days, maybe 3... then moved on to the air ducts and thoroughly cleaned them all out. Dave came back through during the process and again after the work was completed, checking all the work, reviewed what was done, where it was done and how it was done with us. He asked us if we had any questions (we didn't) and he encouraged us to call him if we did. Our home is now clear of all the old mold, bacteria and dust, smells great. This was a very positive experience.

They were scheduled to arrive at 8:30. At 8:50, no had showed up. I called the office. The office told me the technicians left at 8:15 and the he would call them to find out what's going on. The technicians called me said they were running late and would arrive between 9-9:15. They arrived within that timeframe. However, I wish they would have taken the time to call me prior to the appointment if they were running late. Two technicians arrived to clean the dryer vent. When they arrived, one technician was smoking. While he did not smoke during the service call, it made a poor first impression. After the work was completed and the technicians left, I went outside to inspect the dryer vent. Lint from the dryer vent was all over the ground. I spent 45 minutes cleaning it up. While I do not know, I doubt leaving the lint covering the ground is standard procedure.

Dave Adams ( the company owner ) made things very easy for me. His people did everything Dave said they would do. I had no trouble at all. I was treated very well, from the first phone call to the finish of the job. When I first called I talked to Dave's office girl, Katie. I told her my problem and she said she would have Dave call me. He called back in an hour, he came to the house the next day, I ok'd the work and price, set a time and day, PROBLEM SOLVED. In my opinon this company is very professional.

They are very good. They are thorough. I would recommend them. They found some potential issues with the duct work and they took the time to show and explain to me what was going on, which was nice.

We noticed a large patch of mold on the ceiling of our entry-way closet after heavy rains. We knew our roof was getting old but it wasn't until it began to leak after the winter snows and the spring rains that we had a problem with mold. We had our roofer tarp off the leaks while waiting to get the roof replaced and found Alpine Air for mold remediation. We also knew there was a "little" black spot on the ceiling of one of our upstairs bedrooms so had Dave look at all the areas. He is always in quite a hurry, which is understandable with the amount of work his company takes on. He didn't really check out the amount of mold in the upstairs bedroom which showed up only after the quote had been given and accepted and the work begun. Once the work began and they found the extra areas of mold (all the way down the wall into the carpet on the floor, not just a "little" spot on the ceiling), it was clear that they could not get finished in the time originally allotted or for the original quote. They went ahead and cleaned the ducts, which should have waited until after all the demo and rebuilding but since it had been included in the original quote they finished it the same day. Keep in mind that I was under a lot of pain medication as I was waiting to get in for a hip replacement so that I was not as efficient in keeping track of the quotes, etc. as I usually am. There was also some confusion with the workmen about which floor of our tri-level needed to be wiped down for mold. They actually ended up doing more work than quoted without a quibble when it was clear that they had wiped down a floor that was not in the original quote. This occurred after my surgery when I was still on a lot of pain medication. Steve is one of their best workmen. I would have him back for any job whatsoever. And I would call on the owner Dave again for more mold remediation. I would just make sure he takes time to really check out what needs to be done and is very explicit about the job involved.

It was quite an endeavor and it was very well done. They gave us an AL discount of $55 dollars, it was well worth the money.

They gave me a bid for the overall project. Their quote was reasonable for what they would do. I am still looking into the project and other quotations.

He was very courtious and professional, but the estimate was a lot higher than other companies that I received quotes from for the same project.

It went very well. We were very pleased with Alpine. They did exactly what they said they would do. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves.

I think it was a good experience. It was a straightforward project and everything went as planned.

Despite running late, the guys overall did a great job. They cleaned out the air ducts in our house and our dryer vent which was clogged. They also took the extra step of replacing my furnace filter with one that I had already purchased. They were very nice and professional. I felt comfortable enough with them that I was able to work outside in the lawn while they cleaned the vents throughout the house. The whole cleaning took only 2 hours. I would use Alpine again for this type of work.

Very good experience from start to finish.

Company added additional fiberglass insulation to provide a near R-40 insulation rating in the attic. The job took around 1/2 day and the vacuumed all work area's upon completion. We are very satisfied with the installation, product, results of improved home comfort and also reduced energy losses..

Dave Adams came to our home first to provide an estimate. He was professional and listened to our questions and was very responsive. He gave his professional input and did not try to up sell or provide services on add-ons we simply did not need. He answered all of our questions before we finally decided to go with Alpine. We scheduled the work. He sent out three employees (Dave Flynn, Curtis Bittner, and Brandon Bittner) all three were very professional and polite and took the time to explain and answer questions. During the work, Dave called to check on the progress. At the end of the job, they thoroughly cleaned up and left no mess. We were very happy with the result. We would recommend Alpine to our family and friends.

A two man team arrived. I showed them where all the registers were, they went to work - cleaned all the ducts. They explained a few things to me then I paid them and they left. Very polite.

Alpine worked me in on a day convenient for me. They arrived on time and asked lots of questions. They performed an extensive investigation of my new and old ductwork at no additional charge. They cleaned the downstairs, but required a longer hose to reach all of the upstairs ductwork. The returned a second time to complete the job with no additional charge. They left no mess and explained all services in great detail.

John & Ron arrived on time at 9:30 AM. Took care to cover their feet, prepared all registers to cover, placed all registers back, brought hose 6", the shortest distance to plenum. Left at 12:45 PM. 1. Touched ceiling with dirty hands. We actually noticed a few finger prints, but, we resolved it and it didn't happen again. 2. Don't fool yourself, you'll have a lot of dusting to do after they leave.

This company did the job I expected.
