Great! Dave Adams came to the house on Monday for the sales appointment. Of three estimates his was the best value. By Friday afternoon the insulation was installed and my whole house is uniformly comfortable, upstairs and down.

I worked with Dave Adams on the inspection and quote. He is very professional and quick to respond. The job from start to finish went smooth. The basement looked great after they were done. They exceeded my expectations. I would most definitely hire them again.

We called to have mold testing completed and possibly our air ducts cleaned. They scheduled an appointment to have a techniciain come out and do an inspeciation before quoting prices. He was prompt and very nice. He told us we did not need our air ducts cleaned. He was very thorough with his mold inspeciation inside and outside. He suggested we do an air test for the mold becuase of one place in our crawl space. We will set up another appt for an air test.

Examined the affected area and concluded that the problem was minor. Suggested that I, or a handyman, remove the caulking and replace it with silicon caulking, not with latex caulking that was the kind on which the mold had grown. He visually checked the wall to make sure that the mold hadn't penetrated. He refused to take any money for the service call. Does it get any better than this?

The man that came out was very knowledgeable. He was very honest and saved us a lot of money. I really appreciated his service.

They were very prompt and friendly with the estimate. Easy to schedule an appt and the they even arrived early for the appt. Very friendly guys who take great pride in their work. Once clean up was done by them, you couldn't even tell they were there. And they all were very nice to my old, curious dog.

I put in an online inquiry on Wednesday and was contacted by Chris on Friday. We had a baffle in our attic that needed a quick repair. Chris offered to come out same day but due to my work schedule, I was unable to be home that day. He came out on Monday on-time and for a reasonable price made the needed repair. He took a good look at our attic and pointed out a couple of minor issues that could be corrected to improve the ventilation in our attic but no high pressure sales tactics. Would use Alpine Maintenance again. Thanks for your quick reply to our inquiry and for coming out so quickly.

It went good. They were on time. They did not take a break, so I really did not talk to them but they did a great job.

They did a great job with service. The job took 4 hours after stating that it could possibly take 6 to 8 hours. They were very professional and friendly. They only downfall was during the process they allowed 3 mice in my home that took a while to get rid of.

His assessment was that we had at least ten inches of insulation everywhere with some areas as high as 14 inches. He said he could add a few more inches but didn't feel that it would make a very big difference in our comfort or electric bill. I appreciated his candor and not trying to sell us something we didn't need.

Alpine was one of several companies that provided us with quotes. Alpine's quote was actually lower than the company we ultimately went with. We didn't choose them pretty much only for the reason that they utilize a more toxic (although still considered "safe") cleaning solution than the company that we chose. We have a baby and were concerned with the amount of cleaners that were necessary to properly clean our home, so we obviously wanted to use the safest cleaner possible. Additionally, they wanted to fog our HVAC system with another chemical and everything I read/heard (including from a microbiologist that did our air testing) said that was a big no-no. I did get the impression that they would do a very good job though. My only issue was with the chemicals they intended to use.

Just as I expected. I had gotten 2 estimates, both from Angie's list. I chose this firm because of price and professionalism. Dave answered all my questions & I received a 10% discount for being an Angie's List member. The job was scheduled and the workers arrived on time. They introduced themselves and got to work. The job was finished in about 4 hours and they left the site just as clean as they found it. They even took photos of my attic after the insulation was blown in so I could see the results

I highly recommend this company. They were prompt for the estimate, and when they were running two hours late for the installation of the insulation, they took $40 off the cost "for the inconvenience."

I called them and they were out the next day. They emailed me the results the very next day.

Dan could have not been more professional. From the moment he got to the house until he left, I felt comfortable with his word and expertise.

We obtained three estimates from three well regarded companies from Angie's List. It was important to us to hear what each company recommended, as simply going with the lowest offer might overlook something desirable and in our best interest. All three did a good job, but there were differences in what each recommended. We thought Mark from Alpine made the most sense, and we contracted with them, especially when their bid was the lowest. Scheduling was easy and the two gentlemen doing the work were totally professional. Their demeanor and thorough explanations gave us confidence of the quality of their work, which we cannot double check afterwards because our attic is too cramped to move around in. Completely cleaned up.

Did a good job at explaining what he thought was the best moving forward. Did not push the most expensive option, which was nice and pointed out a few things that should be done. We are still working through options and not sure how we want to move forward.

Quick response, visit from Dave Adams. Crew arrived just 2 days after. men came on time, explained all, protected floors and air ways, were polite and good workers. Showed results. Already had follow up call to be sure we are satisfied. Excellent experience for many "yucky" jobs.

My inquiry was transferred to Dave Adams, the company president, to answer some questions that were not in the usual scope of their service. Dave happened to be near my neighborhood at the time of my call, so he came right over. Dave gave us an estimate AND the time needed to correct our issues. This is a critical component for my scheduling around my work. Terry, their scheduler, was courteous and kept us informed, since our service was scheduled for Feb 5 (remember the snow storm). She let us know that the crew was still coming over- but an hour delay. This was fine- it gave me an extra hour! I had already planned for the work to start on Thursday- just in case the snow was worse than it was. The team, Chris and Christopher, sent me a text message letting me know that they had arrived. They set up and covered the floors and carpet; they were personable, cleaned up when they left. WONDERFUL! Not only did they cover the floor and carpet inside- they covered the garage area, where they had to cut the fiberglass insulation. To keep our home extra clean.they put the cut insulation in big garbage bags to carry to the basement- no mess! All I really ask is for service providers to be neat and keep in communication- it is pretty simple, but important. We hired The Alpine Group a few years ago to clean our duct work. I would use The Alpine Group- without hesitation- whether they were Angie's list members or not! I would give them an A++++++++++++ PS. I chose not to disclose the cost of service as each situation will differ. It was however, a fair price for the work they completed.

Mark made his own appointment, was punctual, and ready to do his job upon arrival. Mark reviewed the available inspection report and started a full attic inspection. While doing the inspection, Mark explained what types of indicators he was looking for and why he was looking particularly hard in some areas. Mark provided his opinion of what the inspector might have misinterpreted and why. Alpine provided a written statement of the mold inspection results. Since there was no mold or indicators of mold, Alpine will not be doing a remediation. Had there been mold present, I would definitely have had Alpine perform the remediation.

The technicians arrived on time. They explained how the air duct cleaning was to be done. They completed the work taking care of carpets & wood work.

Technicians were friendly & prompt. Manager explained fully the 2 parts to the work and then the completed the work completely and made sure that I was happy with all aspects of the job.

Dave Adams came out to look over the property and discuss the process. Very nice, very professional. He was able to book my job for the next morning. The two men, Kenny and Christopher, arrived the next morning and thoroughly cleaned all air ducts, registers and returns, the dryer vent, and duct work from furnace as well as from crawl space. They were both neat, polite, and knowledgeable, answering questions and providing tips. They worked for about 4 hours, non stop. I would highly recommend this company. As an asthmatic, I immediately noticed the difference in the air quality in my home.

Separate estimates were provided for the duct cleaning ($649.00) and the mold remediation ($800.00). The crew spent a total of 14 man hours working on both tasks. The mold remediation effort only took approximately 2 man hours... out of a total of 14 man hours for both jobs.They provided a $200 Angie's list discount for all the work. Even assuming the entire discount applied to just the mold remediation, that cost would net out to be $600.00. I discussed this with Dave Adams and he basically said, "you agreed to the cost and no adjudication is required". i have no problem with the quality of the work, both the duct cleaning and the mold remediation. However.... I think $300.00 per hour for the mold remediation was certainly excessive. Essentially, they cut out sections of wallboard, applied some chemical to the area, wiped down the air handler with a chemical and that was it. For $600.00. I paid another separate $250 to a different contractor to replace the wallboard and paint it.
