He wasn't able to diagnose the root cause - did not find anything. Simply wiped the area, sprayed some chemicals around etc. I called other companies and they were way better in targeting & finding root cause.

All went well. Work crew showed up a few minutes ahead of scheduled time (no issue). Completed work satisfactorily in less than estimated time. Great clean-up on a messy day!

The workers arrived promptly and ahead of schedule which was very nice for us, worked efficiently, were quiet and well mannered and did an excellent job of not only removing mold, but discarding desired materials and contaminated objects in the large dumpster that was provided. I was very happy with Dave Adams and the Alpine Group. Dave Adams was fair, honest, and does good work. Dave (the President and Owner) came out and gave me an estimate and his phone numbers where I could reach him regarding any installation questions. He recommended that they add 30 feet of black foam around an orange hot water line in the attic to prevent freezing of the pipe, which had been a problem. Since I had only 8 inches of fiberglass, he suggested adding another 10 inches of insulation to keep the house warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. Dave was polite, knowledgeable, and fair. He gave me a work proposal, then emailed me a typed copy the next morning. Terry (the office manager) was also very easy to work with?she set up an appointment for me that worked with my schedule. I was pleased with both installers. Chris did the majority of the work in the attic section while Damian did the bag release of insulation from the truck. Insulation was blown through a tube going through a bedroom window into the attic. Both Chris and Damian were polite, informative, and knowledgeable. I appreciated their watching out for my home as though it were the own, keeping the floors clean as they went in and out of the house and cleaning up after the job was completed. They worked together as a team. I was also able to contact Dave regarding any questions on the work. I would highly recommend Dave Adams and the Alpine Group for any insulation work. They also do duct cleaning and mold services. It is wonderful to find an honest company that does good work at a fair price, and where you can trust the employees to do a great job.

Dave Adams was the only one of three insulation companies on Angies List that was responsive to my request to schedule this work. He kept in contact until the job was completed. The guys came out as scheduled and completed the job as planned. They were able to explain what they were going to do and answered all my questions prior to beginning work. They also fixed the exhaust duct work for the bathroom fans, and built a box around my whole-house attic fan so that it would not disturb the new insulation when it is operating. I am anxious to see how much my heat / AC bills are reduced with the new insulation. I would use them again.

Alpine provided very thorough and professional service through the entire engagement. They performed a complete evaluation and estimate, and were very helpfully flexible on the scope of work as the extent of the water damage became more evident. Their crew arrived and completed as scheduled and were very professional. After the engagement when mold was discovered in an area that wasn't part of the original scope they promptly returned and addressed it without additional cost. I would absolutely use Alpine again and recommend their services to others!

I called Alpine for air duct cleaning because of previous good experience when they insulated my attic. The scheduling was easy, and the office called the day before with a reminder. The two-man team arrived right on time and got right to work. They did the job right and cleaned up after they were finished. I could tell they had been thoroughly trained. Only hiccup: I had to remind them that they were supposed to clean the dryer vent, despite the fact that it was very clear on their job sheet. Left me feeling like they were trying to avoid doing the free part of the job (the dryer was free thanks to an Angie's List coupon). That approach doesn't match my experience of the owner (who did the estimate for the insulation job) or the insulation crew, and it was most likely unintentional by today's crew. Nevertheless, it was careless. After being reminded, the guys got the job done.

Completely pleased with the entire process. Dave came out for a quote and was extremely punctual and detailed on what they would do. Terry at the office was very pleasant to work with and called to remind of schedule and when crew would be there. Work done was satisfactory. I would highly recommend them to others.

I originally spoke to a woman who took a message and told me someone who understood my results would return my call. Within 5 minutes I received a phone call from a gentleman who asked specifics about my air quality report and the specific mold in question! I was so impressed. Of course I was worried about the report, and was so delighted to have someone call so quickly. He was extremely helpful, and provided great information about the relative severity of the problem, and context about how the type of mold appears. We discussed a few things that would help (duct cleaning, carpet cleaning, service of heat and air units) given the circumstances, since no visible mold had been discovered. But the interior readings were fairly unusual and could pose a problem for someone sensitive like me. I was so grateful for the call, and the time he took to talk me through. While I did not schedule service with them immediately, I certainly will as soon as I work out something with the seller.

They're excellent. It has been a year since they did the work in the basement, and nothing has come back. They're very neat and courteous, very prompt. They also do a very good job of estimating how long something will take. I also like that they give free estimates, where many other companies will charge a lot to come and take a look at the job. Their prices are reasonable.

Dave Adams was prompt and professional in fulfilling the special deal. He listened as we laid out our problems with dampness and mold, took samples in 3 of the worst areas, and got back to us with a detailed report. He also offered suggestions for further work his company could do--cleaning the air ducts, and installing a new vapor barrier in the crawl space and spraying that area with an antimicrobial. We are still considering whether to go ahead with those projects, which are costly and may not be needed at this point.

The team was on time, very polite and thoughtful. The two men worked continuously, no goofing off. Cleaned up the floor when they finished.

We met with Dave (the owner) for a quote to discuss all the details. He asked all the right questions to ensure he gave us exactly what we were expecting. He provided a quote on the spot and explained each itemized portion of the quote to us in detail. The next morning, the Terry (the office manager) called to setup an appointment with my wife since we indicated we would like to 'pull the trigger ASAP' prior to Dave leaving our house. Less than 24 hours after that call, the crew (Curtis and Andy) were at our house setting up. The entire process, once started, only took 5-6 hours for about 700 sq. ft....it was impressive. The crew did an amazing job and the house was spotless after they were done. They even let us know to fully utilize the dumpster (since we had paid for it)...so we filled the dumpster up with anything extra we had to throw away. After the work was complete, Terry sent us an email with a scanned receipt showing our payment as well as pictures of the before and after with some details. It was a great experience and I'd HIGHLY recommend Dave and Alpine Group to anyone needing work done.
