Allen's Tree Service

I had three estimates for the work and they were the cheapest, but, I was really dissatisfied with them because they did not perform as well as we had hoped. So, we ended up hiring another tree service company to complete the job.

My husband called Bill's Tree Service along with two other services listed in Angie's List. While the other services responded with a call back and an estimate, he chose Bill's because of the professional and friendly manner his call was returned. We plan to call Bill next Spring to trim all of our trees.

Bill did the estimate and his crew arrived on time the day of the appointment. They went right to work and were done within two hours. The clean up was excellent.

It went very well. They called before they came and di a very professional job. I was advised tohat they would use a truck with a bucket and it would be driven on to my lawn but would not hurt it. During the performance of the work I was asked more than once to come out and see the work being performed and if it was to my satisfaction. I appreciated the fact that they explained to me what they could and would not be able to do in regards to shaping my trees. Likewise the fur tree was trimmed to my expectations. They finished in an appropriate amount of time and cleaned up the cuttings without fail. They were very professional in their work ethic throughout. A very nice job.

No problems. The limb was removed with no damage to the roof. The clean up of the cut up limb and debris was complete and thorough.

I called for an estimate. They called me to let me know when it would be done and cost. It rained a lot and was too muddy on the due date. They called to let me know what other date would be good for me.

Submitted estimate at 9:30. Crew reported at 11:00 am. Tree was down, mulched and lot cleaned by 1:00 pm.

Came immediately, gave estimate & returned same date. Performed work, clean up & hauled away. Beyond expectations.

It was very good. It was during a time when we were having heavy storms and a lot of trees were done, so they had to postpone getting mine done, which I didn't have a problem with.

This was a great experience. I called the office, got an appointment for an estimate and once I saw the estimate, I immediately approved it. I was told the work would be scheduled when it could be fit in- the limbs were not in danger of causing any property damage so I was in no hurry-but I got the estimate on Saturday and the work was completed Monday before I got home from work.

I called Bill's tree service and described service to be done and an estimate was delivered. Although the trimming that was done was exactly what I had described, it appears that more is needed. Learned lesson: be there for the estimate and expert opinions. Bill's tree service will revisit the site for another estimate and I will be there. The work that was done was good and site was cleaned up.

I saw them working on a neighbor's trees and asked them for an estimate. Bill gave me one right then. His price was much better than a couple of other estimates I had. He mentioned that it would save me money to get it done before the leaves came out and worked me in rather quickly in order to take advantage of that. The wood was hauled away at no extra charge. The yard was cleaned up nicely.

Arrived promptly and clean up was very good.

Bill came to give me an estimate and I was very pleased with his knowledge and willingness to work with me. He gave advice when asked and even gave me a can of spray paint to mark where our invisible fence is located. Everything was done when he said it would be, including tree removal, trimming and coming back the following week to ground the stumps down. I was happy that they asked me to move my car since grinding the stump causes debris to fly around in the yard. I am very pleased and would definitely hire them again.

I called on a Monday morning. They called me back with a quote on Tuesday morning and the tree was gone the same day. They cleaned up the yard so well, you could barely tell that anything had been done. I would definitely use them again!

This team of young men was prompt, courteous and friendly.

Bill came on a Thursday to give an estimate and said the work would be done the following Saturday. About 15 minutes after he left, we heard a lot of commotion outside. When we went to look, they were getting ready to cut down our tree! Bill said the crew happened to be in the neighborhood so they decided to come get it done! Bill's son did a great job of removing the stump later, which was like removing 3 stumps! All the crew was friendly, helpful, courteous, and professional. Very particular about clean-up.

They came in, started working on the tree, and kept checking with me to be sure they were getting it cut the way I wanted. Cleaned up and even got rid of a limb that had fallen during an earlier storm at no extra charge. Will call them first for any other tree service and already am, after my neighbors use their service.

They never showed up nor did they call. I don't like to do business with people that don't return your calls. They could have at least called.

Prompt estimate; work done, 2 days before promised; estimate correct on price. Have had work done by this company before and always very satisfied.

1) Did a great job. 2) Showed up on time. 3) Workers were nice. 4) The workers cleaned up scraps.

I called and left a message. My message was returned the next day. Bill came out the following day to give me an estimate. He said $200 to cut the tree down, clean up, and clean out gutter that was under the branches. He said his guys could get to it in a week and a half. I told him that sounded good. He called that Monday (after the week and a half) said they would be out around noon. They were here around noon, did the work, cleaned up well. I would definitely use this company again.

Bill came to give us an estimate. From the start he was very honest and helpful. He gave me some time to make a decision and then sent out a crew that same day to help us in our emergency situation.

They do excellent work. They were very prompt and they quoted us a price that was very comparable to others but they have not quite sent us out the final bill. We are going to have them come back out and do some more work because we thought they were excellent.

I called and described what I wanted done to the tree. They asked if I wanted to be there when they examined the tree and developed their estimate, I declined. They called me two days later with an estimated cost for the tree service (trimming and removal of limbs) I had described to them in my previous phone call. I accepted the estimate and they indicated work would be performed within a week. The work was done three days later. They called two days later to ask if I wanted a bill or just to send them a check and to see if work was satisfactory. I told them work was exactly what I wanted and that I would send them a check that day. The whole process from start to finish took one week.
