There are a lot of A-rated realtors on Angie's List... I interviewed three before deciding on Alice. Others I interviewed looked mainly at the comps and things needing improvement/replacement. They recommended a lower list price to attract buyers and suggested the sale could take several months. Alice, on the other hand, saw the value in this property... it's location, local/current market dynamics in our favor, etc. and supported a higher list price ($188,000). How'd it turn out? Well... the home sold in 8 days at 98.4% of list price (above what other agents wanted to list it at). While a Carmel address, my mother passed away 3.5 months ago so the home had no occupants and was empty of all furniture and personal property. I note this because you'd think this situation would give buyers more power to drive a lower price compared to a occupied, staged home for sale.
