carpet cleaners
 + -1 moreThey were very good and did a nice job. They first sucked the water out of the carpet and then let their fans blow for 48 hours. The cleaning was different than I ever had before. Most people stem clean, but they water clean.
Description of Work: I have used Advance Restoration & Carpet Cleaning. My carpet got flooded and they got the water extracted from the carpet. Then they came and cleaned it.

On Tuesday night, after three straight days of rain, our sump pump gave out and water began flooding our finished basement. Plumbers would take several hours to arrive, but we called Jim Branson and he came over right away around 10 PM. Jim and his team had the PVC pipe and glue on hand, installed the new sump pump that I had on hand and began draining the well. He worked quickly and saved the basement from further damage. After the pump was installed, he grabbed a few blowers from the truck to begin airing out the carpet. Jim was able to accurately a**** what parts of the basement were at risk, and knew that our laminate was at particular risk. He also evaluated the carpet pad and recognized that it would retain moisture rather than wicking it away. Given that, he was able to assess the situation and schedule a time to return the following day to begin restoration. Jim and team returned the following day as planned, found water under the laminate just as he expected and cut away the saturated carpet padding. He installed additional blowers and dehumidifiers, removed baseboards and bored holes to dry out the drywall. Jim gave us some great tips on how to continue to dry out the basement, made sure everything was working and came to the house every day to ensure things were drying as they should. Jim even took time to meet with the insurance claims adjuster when they arrived at the house to answer any questions. As a result we were able to file the claim more efficiently. Advance Restoration & Carpet Cleaning saved the basement and our sanity. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: * Bear in mind price is somewhat skewed since this was a home warranty / insurance claim Advance Restoration & Carpet Cleaning replaced a failed sump pump, removed ruined laminate flooring, dried out saturated carpet and padding, dried out water behind the drywall and checked for any hidden water damage in a finished basement.

He was very personable in helping with the selection of the carpet. It was a very quick and easy installation. They made it very easy.
