Advance Electric

I had D Jay today to fix many small electrical switches at home. He was on time, did the job on time and he did an outstanding job. He also helped me mount the TV to the wall. I will very much recommend advanced electric for all your home electric needs.

Very well. Had to cut drywall and add electrical. Fixture well aligned to existing fixture. Left work site clean. Courteous and performed work in less than an hour.

The repair went well, Advance Electric sent 2 technicians to my home, one installed the ceiling fan in the guest bedroom, while the 2nd technician addressed the outlets with no power. The 2nd technician recommended that the under cabinet light fixture could not be fixed and that it needed to be replaced. Once the repairs were done, they cleaned up after themselves and I was very satisfied with the work that was performed. I would use Advance Electric again for any future electrical repairs. (I took advantage of the coupon offered thru Angie's List- $178 for 2 hours of electrical labor).

It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end! It started with scheduling. We purchased the Angie's List deal for 2 hours. We received a call the very next day to schedule. I spoke with Barb who was so nice and worked around our schedule. Then she sent out DJ. He was fantastic! He came and got right to work! He was so pleasant and so efficient! I could not believe the amount of work he completed in 2 hours! He was truly amazing. We were so pleased with the results! We will definitely be calling them again for any electrical work we need completed.

They tracked it and fixed it in a timely visit. They are the best angles list providers I have used.

Scheduled inspection with Barbara and Bob came out to see what exactly was needed for the project. Two workmen came out on time and finished up after about 3 hours work. I am pleased with the overall experience with Advance Electric as this was the first time we used them.

They were prompt in calling me back and setting an appointment, but I cancelled because found someone else to do it sooner.

Advance sent 2 electricians which was great because they were able to quickly complete all task. They were on time , professional and cleaned up after they were done.

The two electricians were skilled and professional and work was performed in less than a hour. Barb in the office was friendly and efficient.

When I bought the $99 Big Deal for 2 hours electrical work, I sent the provider photos of the workbench, the two outlets, and the wall and electrical panel. Two men arrived on time and I showed them the two projects I had: 1) dismantle the two outlets from the underside of the workbench, and move one of outlets to the concrete wall directly below the electrical panel, and 2) remove two outlets from an interior wall I want to tear down (wall already torn down to the studs) and move one of the outlets to the concrete wall. They said they could do both jobs in the time allotted. I think there would have been more value in having one worker working for two hours than having two workers for one hour because one worker usually wasn't doing anything while the other one worked. Alternatively, if each of them had worked alone on their own project, that also would have been a better value. I am not an electrician but I had to constantly question them about their intentions and offer my own suggestions because they offered no information on their own nor did they offer any choices: 1) until I asked and objected, they were going to make a new hole in the electrical panel for the new conduit when there already was a usable hole from the old conduit, 2) until I asked and objected, they were going to install the new outlet 4 feet above the floor rather than at a typical height, 3) they installed only a single outlet instead of a double outlet. They were too far along in this process before I realized it so I told them to just continue. They removed two double outlets (4 plugs in each) and knew I wanted one moved to the wall, yet they installed only a single outlet (2 plugs). It took them 45 minutes to do this work and then said they would go over the time allotted if they began work on the second project. I chose not to have them do the second project since I wasn't really impressed with the first project. Both men were very polite and offered to clean up afterwards.

Two technicians arrived on time and completed work effectively and efficiently. Both very pleasant and knowledgable with other lighting questions.

Scheduled an appointment. Two electricians showed up and installed the lights and heating elements I had purchased from a hardware store.

We responded to an ad in Angie's List by Advance Electric for 2 hours of electrician service for $99.00 ( this is actually 1 hour for 2 electricians as there are two electricians in a truck). We received a call back fairly promptly. After explaining what we wanted, we set up a date for the work. We then purchased at the hardware store the majority of the items needed for the installation( the electricians carry all the general items in their truck but we wanted specific receptacle cover). The electricians arrived when they were supposed to and we told them what we wanted, where the receptacles were to be located, and gave them the supplies. They set to work, each installing a receptacle in separate location, as we desired, and it took about an hour. They were courteous and cleaned up, The installations look very good on the outside of the house. We asked them to look at a potential new job that we would schedule later and give us an estimate. They took time to do that ( including a climb into the attic) and were on their way to their next job in short order. We were quite pleased with how well everything went and will be contacting them for future jobs.

Very impressed with the service provided by Advance Electric. Two installers arrived on time and got right to work. Completed all three in a little over an hour. Great work and even better personalities. Would utilize them again.

The 2 gentleman that came to perform the work were very professional. They called in advance, arrived on time and completed all the work and even checked for some additional issues of concern we were having. I look forward to having them do work for us again in the future. Very pleased with the level of service and highly recommend Advance to others.

It went very well, on time (in fact they were a couple hours early). With two techincians. they got right to the list. Friendly and efficient works.

Everything went well, timely, polite, professional but did not offer to stay any longer. Cheged me $10 more an hour than quoted. Made some short-cut mistakes.

The Advance Electric electricians were prompt in arriving. They were quite courteous and knowledgeable. They found the problem - and purchased a new dimmer switch for me.
