Shane was nothing but honest, upfront, and very good to work with. He is the sole reason I chose Brinks! Other salesmen came out and gave the same old song and dance you would expect. Shane was cooperative, intelligent, and left the decision in your hands with out pushing or down playing the other salesmen. VERY RESPECTABLE! I have referred his name to many friends and family members already, and would only recommend him and Brinks. To top it off the serviceman was very quick, professional, and very informative, this is a top notch company, I can't say enough.

Great experience. Brinks responded quickly to our call for a consultation(within one day) and they were able to install our system two days later. The sales rep recommended certain features and when the install tech showed up, he recommended some other options that may work better for our situation. All the work was performed in one day. They were clean, efficient and very helpful. They even reconnected our old doorbell(which previously didn't work)

Representatives were most professional from start to finish. Installation was done on our schedule. Original cost was based on the number of "bells and whistles" we wanted. We purchased several. Because we were on Angie's List, we received an upgraded keypad at no cost. There is a monthly fee of around $30 and a contract term requirement. We have had the system for about three weeks and had one mishap, which required a call from a monitor, who was most kind and helpful. Overall, we are very satisfied with the product and value received.

It was excellent. I called for a salesman to give me an estimate. He showed up on time the next day. The following day a technician arrived an installed the system in our older home.

We had ADT service in a home for many years, but the system eventually failed. Called company to discontinue monthly monitoring service. Company continued to send monthly bills and even threatened to turn into collections even though system did not operate. This is the hardest company to deal with. They pass you from one office to another. They have never heard of customer service. I called their headquarters to complain, and they still have not returned my calls after two months!

Very good and professional. Walked us through our home and explained what they thought we needed and did not need. Did not try to up-sell us and were willing to negotiate to match a competitor. Very professional and responsive.

One technician worked alone for 7-8 hours. Then, two more techs joined him and the three worked for another 6 hours. They were professional, courteous and seemed to enjoy their work. It was a long day of focused work. The estimate was for adding to an existing alarm system, but when the tech found the wiring and system to be many years older than expected he installed an entirely new system from scratch. Brinks stood by Steve (the rep's) original estimate, which was less than half the cost quoted by a competitor. I elected to have three more heat sensors installed and Brinks charged me for only two. I am a very satisfied customer.

We met with Vincent, the sales rep. He presented all of Brinks services and gave recommendations as to what he thought we needed for our home. He was very professional and knowledgeable. After comparing estimates, we decided to go with Brinks. The install was scheduled for 2 weeks later. I can't say enough good things about Alan and the other installers. I think the job was a bit bigger than anticipated. The guys that were here at first knew the job as going to take longer than first thought. At one point we had 4 installers here. The first installer arrived at 8:30 and didn't leave 'til 6pm and all this was done on a Friday. Even though it was late, Alan stayed to get the job done and walked us through how to use the system. He was very professional and thorough!

It went well. The salesman, Adam, came to our home and gave my husband and I a complete description of the services and equipment. He looked at our home and talked with us about what we wanted and needed, signed us up, and made the appointment for installation. Our installer, Franco, arrived promptly, did the required work, and cleaned up after himself. He made one small error (installed a door monitor on the wrong door due to a slight misunderstanding about which basement door we wanted alarmed) but Brinks sent a technician the next day when I called about the error. The entire experience was simple, the system works well, and we're very satisfied.

They were responsive toward our calls. Everything they did was to our satisfaction. We had a problem with a battery that was ineffective and they replaced it the next day.

We had a false alarm supposedly caused by a faulty motion sensor. After they replaced the sensor and lost the check that we wrote to pay them, we had another false alarm. They had a very accusing tone when asking about the problem, repeatedly asking if we had pets because something had to be triggering the sensor, even though we had no problems with this until recently after having the security system for years. They did a poor job of processing the payments because they had to be adjusted for our stop payment fee on the lost check and the fee charged by the police for the second false alarm, and it required multiple phone calls to resolve.

We realized that when the initial wiring was run in the basement, they had run it over the jousts instead of through them. We could not drywall the ceiling until the wires were moved. I called Brinks and relayed the problem to them. Within two days they were able to come out and rework the wiring.

The salesman tried to sell me a cheaper system and wanted me to add on later, but I wanted the full coverage. His first estimate was around $1000. The sales guy also mis-counted windows and left out 2, thereby leaving the initial estimate too low as well. However, the installer realized we had double hung windows, so the pricing went up by $300. They offered multiple alternatives to keep the pricing down, but I chose the more expensive route. I had an immediate safety concern and wanted installation quickly. Brinks was able to schedule the install within a day. The installers were careful and clean, and suggested alternatives when they noticed issues, such as the double hung windows. The installation did take all day, and you need to be prepared for them tromping through the house and leaving doors open. I'm fairly private, and I found it invasive. I found a corner room to relax in away from most of the activity. We had a question about one of the types of detectors the first week (the motion detection). The salesman called back right away, and arranged for a service call that day. A service person came out to check it, and show us how it worked and answered our questions. We were very impressed. The installer shows you how to use the system once it is installed, and it is easy to use. I've only set it off accidentally once! But we sleep soundly and securely, and know our house is safe while we are gone. They did a great job!

Sales consultant came to our house on a Friday evening. We went over the existing alarm system in the house, and she said it was unnecessary to add any additional security protections. We agreed to install system that would call our cell phones if there was an intrusion, rather than having to get a land-line. Technician was scheduled for the next Saturday morning to install key pads and system in basement. Technician was on time and demonstrated how to use the key pads. Problems started a few weeks later when we would get a call from the ADT saying there was a disturbance, when really it was only a malfunction of the system. Different technician came back out to try to fix the problem. He spent about an hour at our house, but the problem kept recurring. A few weeks later, a third technician came to the house and raised the system in the basement closer to the ceiling. This seemed to fix the problem as we have had no more 'disturbance' calls.

We would recommend this company to anyone wanting an alarm system.

The person I talked to was very helpful and knowledgeable. I decided that I will not get an alarm at this time, but their information was helpful.

They designed a system to meet my needs and concerns, and installed it. The system works fine and provides the detection that I wanted. Controlling and arming the system is intuitive and relatively easy.

Have been a Brinks customer for over 2 years; called 4 times over 2 weeks before I could get someone to call me back to discuss my desire to have a sales guy/technician come out to talk to me about adding some components. When I called the national Brinks #, they wanted $75 to send someone out. I wanted to upgrade my motion detectors to pet-friendly ones, add a couple of door/window sensors, and add a 2nd floor keypad. While trying to get Brinks to come out and do this estimate, I called several other companies as well and asked them to do the same; they all came out quickly. Brinks ultimately told me that they don't sell pet-friendly motion detectors because "they don't work". All the other companies sell them and all my internet research says they work. They also don't offer a wireless 2nd floor keypad - would have to be hardwired; went with another company that was willing to come right out and give the estimate and provided the equipment I wanted.

The nice thing is that if you have questions they will schedule a service call and come to your home to answer your questions and concerns. There is no additional charge; it is included in the monthly fee for the regular service. Price listed is price per month.

We recently moved into a home that had an ADT system. The company was a bit confused on their scheduling. Also, we wanted someone to come out and show us how to use the system, so we made an appointment. As it turns out, they "show" you the system and test it over the phone. It took about 1 hour, and had me running all over the house to test doors and trip the alarm! I asked if they could send a representative, and they said yes if I wanted to pay an hourly service charge. On the positive side, when one of our key pads needed to be fixed, it was replaced for free under our contract. Also, once when the alarm was set off by accident by a family member, the monitoring company was quick to call me.

Proposal and installation were professional and friendly.

Very well. My pre-existing system was compatible with the Brinks system and so the installation went smoothly. They had an opening, so my installation was done the same day I got my estimate. We are very happy with the peace of mind that a monitored system provides, especially when my husband travels. We have accidentally set the system off several times, and we always receive an immediate response from the Brinks call center.
