It all went fine until we moved. It took a lot of time to get the billing resolved because they wanted to charge us a termination fee, even though we made arrangements from the beginning. If we or the local company didn't keep the agreement in writing for this, we would have paid the termination fee! They are not flexible. The national company is not very professional, but the local seems ok.

Reasonably priced and good service.

Service man notified me that paying for the repair would be more costly than if I had repair insurance. Signed me up for repair insurance and then there was no charge for the repair. Zones are still not properly mapped at the control center. They call to inform me of unidentified signals from zones that nobody knows what they are.

Alarm went off while we were on vacation, it was unexplained as the window did not appear to be burglarized, but ADT was responsive and notified our contacts who checked to see that the house was safe.

Overall, they're not the greatest, but we're not unhappy with them. The quality of the technicians varies wildly, and I have at times had to really push to get adjustments made when our system was acting up. However, when the chips were down and our wall panel needed to be replaced, they did so without charge and without fuss. We pay a monthly fee to have the system covered by the maintenance plan, and they are good about honoring that.

We can't say enough good things about our installer Shawn. He was polite and quiet and cleaned up after himself and did an excellent job. Lee the sales rep was also polite and friendly, but was wrong about what could be incorporated from our old alarm system into the new. Essentially what was supposed to be a conversion turned into a new install. Obviously a $200 job turned into a $600 job in a hurry. Didn't feel we were subject to a bait and switch job, the overall price we got was good and the system is excellent. Just make sure you are very clear with what you want. We upgraded several heat and fire detectors and installed glass break detectors at Shawn's recommendation and this is what bumped up the cost. Overall a good experience and we are pleased with the work.

They were very neat and tidy. They got me scheduled very quickly.

We were very pleased with everything, from the sales rep (Bill Hassell), to the installers we needed 2, due to the difficulty of the project. Monitoring is $34.99 per month.

It took 3 months for them to give us a quote.

We moved into a new house and a different company had installed the system. ADT offered to look at the system and offer a competing bid. They showed up and did the job. They have been very responsive. The service technician was excellent.

When I called the 800 # again to find out what happened, they referred me the local office manager. I have called the manager several times, and left 2 messages. He has still not returned my call. Called a local company, and they checked out the system and showed us how to use it for free, and their monitoring is $10 less per month.

The technician was on-time, polite, answered my multiple questions and performed the work for much less than the quoted amount.

Unpleasant experience. Salesperson was too pushy and the price he quoted was too high.

Good company, pleasant, easy to work with. No pushy salesman. Reasonably priced. No complaints and would recommend this company to others.

He was punctual and very friendly. Tried very hard to earn our business. Had to go with someone else due to pricing.

THEY PROVIDE OUR ALARM SERVICE AND THEY DID A PERFECT JOB WITH EVERYTHING. THEY INSTALLED THE SAME DAY THEY GAVE US THE EQUIPMENT, AND WENT OVER AND ABOVE WHAT THEY NEEDED TO DO.

GOT AN ESTIMATE FOR FIRE ALARM SYSTEM TO BE INSTALLED FOR BUSINESS. ESTIMATE WAS VERY REASONABLE, BUT MONTHLY MONITORING IS PRICEY. MIKE FOLLOWED UP AFTER THE WEEKEND AND I DID TELL HIM I WAS GETTING TWO MORE ESTIMATES THAT DAY, AND HE SAID HE WOULD FOLLOW UP END OF THE WEEK. WHAT I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT LIKE ABOUT THIS, IS ADT (MIKE) SENT US A 40% REDUCED INSTALLATION RATE 10 DAYS AFTER THE INITIAL QUOTE. I WANT THE RATE UP FRONT. IF YOU WANT MY BUSINESS, THEN GIVE ME YOUR BEST RATE WHEN YOUR HERE QUOTING ME A PRICE.

CHUCK FAWCETT CAME OUT TO PROVIDE US WITH AN ESTIMATE ON COSTS AND MR. BOWLING CAME OUT TO UPGRADE THE OLDER SYSTEM. BOTH WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND WE HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS!

I LIKE THEIR PEOPLE AND EVEN THOUGH WE HAD SOME PRETTY SIGNIFICANT INSTALLATION PROBLEMS, THEY WERE REALLY RESPONSIVE IN FIXING THOSE. THE GUY WHO DID THE INITIAL INSTALLATION WAS CRAPPY. BUT THE PEOPLE WHO CAME TO RE-INSTALL WERE VERY GOOD. IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE IN THE END.

I HAVE MY ALARM SERVICE THROUGH ADT ($27.00/MONTH). I HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE. I SET THE ALARM OFF ONCE BY MISTAKE AND IT ONLY TOOK A FEW MINUTES FOR THEM TO CALL. I DID HAVE SOME REMODELING DONE AND THEY HAD TO COME OUT TO MOVE A SENSOR, AND THEY CHARGED ME QUITE A BIT ($90 FOR A HALF HOUR) WHICH I THINK IS TOO HIGH.

INSTALLED ALARM SYSTEM, THE SAME DAY I ORDERED IT. THEY EVEN CAME OUT AFTER HOURS TO INSTALL. THEY ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND POLITE.

WE HAVE USED BRINKS FOR OVER 6 YEARS. THEY HAVE NEVER RAISED OUR MONTHLY RATE! RECENTLY A CONTRACTOR WORKING IN OUR HOME ACCIDENTALLY REMOVED A HARD-WIRED SMOKE ALARM. WHILE BRINKS DID CHARGE US A SERVICE FEE, THE TECHNICIAN CHARGED US ONLY THE MINIMUM FEE (EVEN THOUGH THE WORK TOOK LONGER THAN EXPECTED). HE THEN TOOK THE TIME TO COVER THE OTHER SMOKE ALARMS IN AFFECTED AREAS TO BE SURE WE WOULD HAVE NO FALSE ALARMS DUE TO CONSTRUCTION DUST. I WOULD RECOMMEND BRINKS HOME SECURITY TO ANYONE.
