The work went very well. The crew worked all day and completed tear off of the old roof and installed the new roof in one day. The crew new what to do. They protected the gutters, covered the plants, cleaned up the grounds several times during the day to keep paper from blowing away, and ran a magnet to pick up the metal material, and hauled off the old roof at the end of the day.

Great. Same day service for this small job.

Overall, went well. The office seemed a little disorganized: they kept asking me what color shingles I wanted and I kept telling them I needed to see a sample. Then they delivered a sample but it was the wrong style. Finally gave me the correct sample. They also said they needed a signed contract, but I told them they had it; they found it. The roofing went mostly smoothly. One of the installers bent a gutter, so we requested it be replaced and they did. Unfortunately the new gutter is just a tiny bit shorter than it should be, which meant they had to bend the downspouts over a little to make them fit. If the gutter had fit perfectly, I would have given them an A, but it doesn't, so I give them a B.

He very quickly found the problem, explained what needed to be done, and corrected the damaged areas. No problem, since, with the roof.

Jennifer returned my first phone call within 24 hours. The sales person, Wes, was on time and professional for our first meeting. He gave me a very detailed estimate. Wes also worked with me to adjust his estimate to meet my insurance claim amount. The agreement was to have a new roof in 30 days. Due to a cancellation my roof was completed seven days after signing the contract. Wes came out with the work crew and introduced me to the supervisor. The crew worked 9 hours installing my roof. They had to return the next day to install the rest of the roof vent and a dryer vent due to a shortage of material. Wes came out the following day to hook up the dryer vent that was not connected and to collect payment.

Discovered a water stain around bathroom fan. Called ABC Roofing who responded quickly in spite of a flood (bad pun) of customers experiencing problems from the same storm. Encountered a severe thunderstorm the next day and did not experience any further leakage.

They were helpful and responsive. When they came out and started pulling the roofing off, they noticed that the decking underneath had gone bad in some places. The owner of the company came out to inspect it himself to make sure that it was necessary to replace them. They called me to make sure I was OK with the extra repairs before proceeding. They were always friendly and helpful over the phone, and promptly sent me the paperwork I requested for insurance purposes.

Job 1.They showed up to estimate the day after I called, almost to the minute when they said they would come. Promised to do the work on the second dry day, which they did. I'm used to (some) workers putting on overshoes when they come in the house so they won't track dirt. John not only did that, he is the first one I have ever seen place a drop cloth under his truck so he wouldn't get any oil or dirt on the driveway. He worked steadily, explained what he was doing and why, left things spotless when done, checked my skylights for potential problems and said they were fine. Job 2.Jim came out to do an estimate within a couple of days of the call. I was comfortable with the estimate and he said he could do the job on the spot if I wanted. He worked quickly and cleaned up the site and also pointed out some other problems that were not urgent, but would require some work in the future. This is not the first time I have used ABC. They are responsive and professional.

They said they would try to have someone out Friday and they would call me to let me know either way and they never called so I called them and they never called me back.

We had shingles blow off the house on a very windy day. Rain was in the forecast about 4-5 days down the road and I needed to find someone to repair the roof before the rain came in. I called ABC because of their good Angie's list rating three times in one day and never got a live person. I left a voice mail message the first time I called at around 9 AM and mentioned the urgency of the situation and never got a call back until the next day. By then I had hired someone else.

They were good. They responded well.

This was the most pleasant experience I've had with my home improvements so far. Jim came out to take a look at the roof and give me a quote days before they said they could get to my home. He was very thorough and explained details to me. They also made it very easy to work with and figure out my insurance claim. The actual tear-off and replacing of the roof went very smoothly. All of the workers were courteous. The job was done completely and very well. All of the company's representatives had excellent communication. They returned calls in a reasonable amount of time and were always helpful. They even called back after the work was completed to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction and that there were no problems that appeared during a storm.

He checked with me on the color of the shingles and things like that. The work was done in an afternoon and the next morning. They were very clean and neat and didn't ruin anything. They covered bushes. The owner inspected the work himself. The workers were very polite. They did a good job. I have no complaints at all.

After two other companies failed to return multiple calls, I called ABC and explained that we lost shingles and had a leak as a result. More rain was in the forecast and they worked us in right away before the rain started again. We were very pleased with their responsiveness.

Replaced roof, friendly guys, and cleaned up.

They were a little hard to get a hold of but they did always get back with us. It was a good experience.

ABC Roofing is a really good company but I believe they were just overwhelmed with business after the hail storm last year. I contacted them after I had my insurance estimate and they agreed to the price with no issues. I signed the contract and it was 6-7 months before all of the work was complete. I had some issues with subcontractors that were used (damage to plants, damage to soffits, incomplete work) but this was resolved right away to my satisfaction. I was unhappy because I discovered these issues when I came home and had to call ABC and inform them and get it resolved. In all instances, they already knew about the damage and had a plan to repair it. I would have appreciated a phone call or message letting me know what happened so that I wasn't shocked by it. This job required a lot of patience and follow-up on my part. I would consider using ABC in the future because from past experiences this is not typical - I believe it was due to the hail storm situation.

Two weeks after my initial contact they called to say they were running at another three weeks and they would call me back - even though I told him my roof was LEAKING. It has been 8 weeks and I never heard back from anyone. I realize that the hail claims are backlogging these companies but a lack of response for someone with problems, unacceptable.

They were very attentive and willing to serve us though just about everyone else we called were not even willing to consider the job because of the volume of projects at that time. We were very impressed with ABC that even though they appeared to have such a long list of great endorsements, therefore being highly recommended, they still treated us with the utmost service and were so timely.

Fine. It wasn't until I recently put the house on the market that I (or rather, the realtor) thought to have it inspected for hail damage. I had used Leitz Roofing before and Gary found a minor problem (rusty nail) that another roofing company didn't find then. So, with my successful experience a year ago with Leitz, I called them for an estimate for this major roof replacement. I had one other bid, and Leitz came in at half the cost. I did call one other company that I had used in the past for other things, and was told that it wouldn't be until next summer until they could get to me. Leitz worked me into their busy schedule quickly, knowing that a new roof would be of value in trying to sell the house.

It took a few weeks for them to come out. They were behind due to recent heavy rains. Once they did, things were done quickly.

I placed a call and was told I would be called back the next day after they spoke to the boss to find out if I could get an appointment before they shut down for the holidays. I did not get called back.

Called the day after I left message. Did work the next day. Very pleasant to deal with. Seemed a little pricey for what was done, but I was aware of the cost upfront and decided to go with them as I needed the work done and most other companies were backed up. Shingles didn't quite match the existing ones but that isn't a major issue with me.

Always do good work and easy to deal with.
