My husband scheduled an appointment for a representative of ABC Roofing to come to our home on Thursday, May 22nd at 3:30. My husband took off from work to be home at that time. No one from ABC Roofing showed up. We waiting until 4:30 to call the company regarding our appointment. ABC Roofing called back about an hour later. They said they attempted to contact us and that they would be unable to come to do the estimate on Thursday. My husband did have a missed call on his cell phone, but no message saying they were running late or would be unable to make the appointment. There was only one missed call. We went ahead and rescheduled another estimate for Wednesday, May 28th at 4:30pm. Again, no one from ABC Roofing showed up. No one called. We did not contact the company this time and have no desire to work with them in the future. The lack of response and follow through was extremely frustrating!

On time, stayed on the job even in rain, finished and completed the job in a timely manner with additional changes and some rain!!!

I was VERY pleased with Rod and ABC Roofing's work! They were very punctual and had the job done in one day. Afterwards they cleaned up the yard as if no one was there the next day. Thank you ABC Roofing I would have NO PROBLEM referring you to my own family and friends.

They did a good job. He went up on the roof and took pictures to help me see what he was talking about which I was happy with.

This was a weird experience. They were the most prompt of 3 companies to come out (same day) to look at the house. They were supposed to email me an estimate. Instead, they called me with a verbal estimate and said that I "really needed to have it fixed that day since without gutters, rain would drain down into my crawlspace or basement", which is odd, considering I don't have either, which I had told them on the phone when I arranged for the estimate and I would have thought a construction-type professional would have been able to tell. Also, when I reminded them of that and said I wanted to wait for the other 2 estimates, they asked if I still wanted them to email the written estimate, to which I replied "yes." However, it never came (and I checked my spam box, too). Their verbal estimate was also very low compared to the other 2 companies. So I'm left with an odd feeling about this company, wondering if they were attempting to jack up the price after the job done or what. I definitely would not call them again.

The crew did the entire job in one day. They were efficient and cleaned the area after they were done.

The price was better than I had thought it would be. They were here on time and did everything they said they would do. They cleaned up everything. The gutters look nice as well.

Overall, ABC Roofing was quick and efficient. The entire job took just over a day to finish. I was also impressed with the clean-up around the entire house. Even our flowers were protected from the roof replacement!

Everything promised in the extensive written proposal was delivered, on time, in a very professional manner. ABC employees worked virtually non stop 12 hour days to finish before the rain.

They were supposed to remove all of the old roof and the deck and then install new decking material. They did not remove the old deck. They put the new material down on top of the old. And charged $880 more than originally estimated to substitute plywood for OSB. Since they did not remove the old deck, there was no need for this "upgrade." The person supervising the roofing crew used the words plywood and OSB interchangeably, so I didn't realize I was being overcharged until I received the final invoice. The crew didn't know how to properly install flashing at the intersection of roof and sidewalls. To cover up their mistakes, they nailed 1x4s and 1x6s to sides of the house and dormers. This looks terrible. When we complained, they told me this was an "acceptable" solution and refused to make any changes. There are several other areas where the roofing crew failed to do a good job. It will cost more to repair their mistakes than what we paid them to replace the roof.

The salesman (Wes) was very helpful with ideas & approach to correct historical leaks. A team of 8 men worked from 9 - 5 and completed the entire job. Their efficiency was amazing! Follow-up clean-up team came to ensure the yard was free of construction debris and to answer questions. Overall, we're very pleased with the roof and the responsiveness of the ABC roof contacts.

ABC Roofing actually came to our house on 2 different occasions. The first time was a couple months ago to fix one of our sky lights that was leaking really badly after a heavy rainstorm (again, because of an issue from another roofing company, not ABC). The repair was done in about 15 minutes. ABC fixed the sky light issue and didn't charge me. When we discovered we were having other roof leak problems, we called ABC again and they made the repairs. We haven't noticed any other problems since, but know that if we have any further issues they will be out to repair right away. I will definitely hire ABC Roofing for any future roofing needs. They were very kind and really understood the problems we were having.

Came to inspect (Wes Phoebus) roof. A patch of roof had lifted up--no roof leaking. He immediately went and got materials, came back and fixed the roof. He also checked and repaired chimney flashing while he was on roof.

They were exceptional. They were lovely all the way through, from taking my phone call to giving me an estimate. They were helpful about working with my insurance company. They made a wonderful impression when they came out. They let me know when they had an earlier opening and were able to complete the work ahead of schedule. They were wonderful all the way through.

President/owner very committed to quality. Minor problem with front line employee, they were addressed by company quickly & cheerfully. Very good people. Highly recommend.

They were great. They came out when they said they would, were efficient and got the job done in 1 day. They cleaned up really well. The owner of the company came and checked the work, even getting up on the roof which I thought was very impressive. They got some extra business from our neighbor's as well.

If we needed something else along that line, I would use them in the future. They were very responsive and even let us come to the office on a Saturday to fit our schedule. The only reason we aren't using them is because they are not certified yet for the particular brand of shingles that we want to use.

A windstorm at the of January this year knocked a 6'x4' area of shingles off. We called ABC Roofing, spoke with Jim T. and they got an emergency tarp on our roof the same day. When Jim noticed hail damage on our roof during his inspection, he worked with our insurance agent to get the our whole roof repaired, not just the recent damage. Due to snowy weather, the start date was pushed back, but Jim and Pat kept in constant contact with us and let us know when they would be able to start. We were also immediately called when they found the defective decking so we would know our estimate would be going up (per our contract). Once the gutters were in place we noticed some leaking from the seams, and as soon as we called the gutters were re-caulked (Pat also called to let us know that the re-caulking had occurred). They were all very helpful and patient with answering all of our questions. We plan to tell anyone who has roofing needs to call ABC!!

They were courteous over the phone but just did not follow up.

Company representative promptly returned calls and was willing to correspond by e-mail. He inspected the roof while I was at work and returned on an agreed upon date/time to discuss estimates and insurance claim information. Requested to see my claim information from my insurance company. Sat down with me to answer my questions but seemed focused primarily on the items for repair/replacement listed in my insurance claim. Wes followed up promptly with addresses so I could drive by and see different types of shingles on houses in my area. My personal preference was to find a roofing contractor that would also handle the interior repairs. Also, I was looking for a contractor to take a big picture perspective on what needed to be done to the house, rather than just what the insurance company listed that they would pay for.

Rod came out on New Years Eve to look at my roof. We talked a great length about a variety of options and he was kind enough to email me some ideas and pricing. Once my wife and I agreed upon a color, they were at my house within a day. The speed and professionalism was phenomenal. ABC ROOFING did an incredible job at making sure we were happy before anything was ordered. In fact, they gave us some additional time to make sure we were choosing the correct color. Obviously, the proper color is vital and we really appreciated the extra time they gave us to make sure we would be happy! Also, before they left, the crew gave us ideas for new gutters. If (and when) we replace our gutters, we will be calling ABC ROOFING!

They came out and the estimate and contract was to do the main house portion only. However, due to miscommunication on the part of ABC Roofing employees the crew came early and tore off the entire roof of the main house, addition and garage. ABC Roofing did stand by their mistake and I was not charged for this error; however, due to their mistake they would not honor the Angie's List coupon of $125 which I would have been given if they had not made this mistake - was this right - I'll let you make that call. The only thing I will say is they should put in their coupon section we will honor this coupon IF we don't make any mistakes that might cost us money! I had nothing what so every to do with this error. I was not even home during the job. Do I appreciate them taking responsibility for their error, most definitely. Should they have given me the coupon which they would have if they had not made the error? Is this unprofessional?

Prices were very high when we first got an estimate from them but it was during the hail damage season. When we called them back for another estimate, their prices dropped and were very competitive. They provided a lot of information and educated us on what they were doing and what needed to be done. Their service was outstanding and they were very professional and I would use them again if I had to.

This was our first experience with ABC Roofing and it was awesome! I called and let them know we thought we may have some damage from the recent storms because there were shingles laying in the streets of our neighborhood. They said they'd get someone right out. They were out that day to check our roof! Rod left his card in our door, and when I called to see what he found, I was told that he did a thorough inspection and found nothing. I have two friends that have recently used this company and have had really good experiences in getting their roofs replaced by ABC Roofing, so I knew they would be trustworthy. I was really pleased at the quick response and high level of professionalism!!

I was completely satisfied. They were prompt and they cleaned up well after themselves.
