They were not the cheapest quote, but we felt the quality of their proposal was the best. Everything went fine with the project. They finished the tear-off and reroofing in one day, and cleaned up the next day. No complaints.

I came to know about ABC Roofing Co Inc. through Angie’s list. Flashing is a metal that protects a leak between the chimney brick and the roofing on the house. They have to take some of the mold out between the brick all the way on three sides of the chimney. They put the flashing in and then mold it back. Then, they had to take shingles up and put it down and then put the shingles back over. ABC Roofing Co Inc. is very good. I have already referred them. I have a very good impression about them. They came a day early in regard to the appointment. I did not climb up and look at the chimney, but from the ground what I can see it looks like they did a very nice job. I am pleased with them. I would use their service in the future too.

Had damage from high winds and were missing shingles. Mark, the salesman, came out to look at the roof and found missing and loose shingles. He came again when the insurance adjuster came to look it over. I was very impressed with the service that Mark provided us. He always returned phone calls within minutes and came out to bring the contract and pick up checks. When the crew was close to being done, he came out again to check on them. When the crew finished the roof, they cleaned up everything. There were no nails or any other debris left behind. The foreman was courteous and knowledgeable. He answered any questions I had about the new roof. Rod, the owner, came back a few days after completion and checked everything out himself. He even fixed a part on the porch roof that showed up after the new roof was put on, even though it didn't have anything to do with the new shingles, it was a builders defect that was hidden by the old shingles. The job they did was excellent. I would highly recommend ABC Roofing.

I thought it was fair priced. They showed up when they said they were going to and completed it. I believe all that was in the day, they went on the top and did the roof. They cleaned up after themselves. We didn't find any trace of repair there. It was a good experience overall.

Very well. They did what they said, when they said it, cleaned up very well, listened and responded to our questions/concerns, and charged exactly what was estimated. Very professional work - a very professional company.

They were excellent. They were very good to work with. Their price was good. They did what they said they would do and they cleaned up after themselves. They are exactly the type of guy you want working for you. I couldn't’t be happier with the work.

Our roof started leaking a few months later. ABC was quick to respond and someone came and caulked around some areas. Said that because our roof was replaced in early spring it was probably not warm enough for the original caulk to seal. Made sense. Sometime later, though, and many times after that, the roof has leaked again in different places all over the house. The first few times, ABC came out quickly and did a little more minor repair or reinforcement. Finally, the owner came out and brought some kind of expert guy. That guy and the owner agreed that the problem was the design of our house. The pitch of the roof was not steep enough to allow the water to drain off if it rained very hard and/or was windy. We also did not not have enough vents in the eaves to allow the attic to dry out after the rain. They could not explain why the roof had not leaked the forty years before we got the ABC roof on out poorly-designed house. They will not stand by their warranty, instead offering to do some $5000 more work on the house to correct the problem. Since then the roof has leaked several times each year. My husband continues to have the same conversation with the company. There is extensive damage to the ceiling in 4 rooms of the house. Someone else is living there now (long story) though we still own the house.

They were responsive and came quickly for a leaking situation which needed immediate attention. We haven't had any problems since.

Although I postponed the project, ABC provided a cost estimate that was comparable to their competitors.

I really like these people. They look, see, and do. No worries.

The exhaust fan for my bathroom is connected to a ventilation pipe . They came out on time, they are very courteous and professiona. They were very through to find the leak. He took pictures to show me there wasn't any damage. He put some sealent over areas where it was cracked and that fixed my problems. I figured they would send me a bill, it turns out they didn't charge me anything because they had worked on that problem before.

We got four estimates and their estimate was in the middle. We liked what they were willing to do for us. They were willing to do everything we wanted done. They even fixed some gutter problems. They had to change the siding a little bit and also did the chimney cap. They really did pretty well. The only problem that I had was that the ceiling bounced around when they replaced the roof, but it was not their fault. They referred me to a guy who does repair work for them for the nail pops. They told us in advance that there would be nail pops and cracks. They did pay part of the cost for fixing the nail pops. They did a good job.

It went pretty good. They were very prompt. They were quick in getting up there and it was at the end of the good weather. The roofer said that it needs to be above a particular temperature for the shingles to adhere properly and there was a little bit of a break. The crew then came out and they were done in like two days. So, it worked out well. He was very professional and courteous. He came out a couple of times. As a matter of fact, we are still talking with him about maybe replacing the siding on our house. He came out an additional time to specifically talk about the options there. He came out to follow up after the job was done and made sure that we didn?t have any issues with anything. He also did a final cleanup and we are very satisfied. As far as the price was concerned, he wasn?t the cheapest, but he was competitive. We will probably have him do the siding on our home in the spring.

ABC Roofing Co Inc. was very thorough in their evaluation for the estimate. They noted that the existing number of roof vents was not adequate for the square footage of our attic. The job was well supervised and nicely executed. They were very methodical in their work.

First, they said they could not do the work until spring, (November) then they sent me a bill for the work on Jan. 18, 2011 and they had not even been out to the house since the estimate. Then, without any notice, a guy showed up and went on our roof without even ringing the bell to say he who he was or what he was doing we only knew someone was on the property because our dogs staring barking like crazy. Then he told us that the entire roof needed replaced even though he said it did not 3 months before. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Then they said that they would probably not be able to do the work because they would end up damaging the siding. They should be dropped from Angie's list.

I decided to choose them straight up because they were listed on Angie's List.

It was okay, overall. It took about 3 weeks for them to get back to us for an estimate. They were focusing on a whole roof replacement instead of the partial repairs we wanted. They just gave us one for a large project. We will be looking for another roofer at this point.

The owner was so professional. He did the inspection himself and I was impressed. His workers were punctual and did the work in a timely manner. Office is very helpful and just a great company, overall! Would highly recommend them!

Had a few minor snafus but all in all it went well. The important thing was how quickly they responded to any concerns and/or requests....they did great. Owner genuinely seems to care about making sure the customer is satisfed and that counts big in my book.

He is just wonderful. Since they did install the roof 7 years prior, he didn't charge us anything to give an estimate. We;ve used their services on our homes for the last 40 years and have always had above and beyond service. They are impecablely honest. For example, we had a hail storm a few years back and many companies were knocking on our telling us we had hail damage and needed to replace our roof. We called Leitz and he advised we only needed repair a handful of shingles, not the whole roof and only charged us $80 for the parts and labor. We would recommend them to anyone!

The company was prompt with estimate. Work done in timely fashion, cleared up all debris and nails.

Nicely done! Tearing off the old roof and replacing it makes a huge mess, but they cleaned it up very well! Thousands of nails are involved in that process and I haven't found any laying around. Everything was really great about this roofing job. If I had to find one down side, it would be that one guy dropped the bundles of roofing from about waist high onto the roof. That jarred the whole house every time and knocked down some of the plaster on my ceilings. Luckily, that guy didn't carry too many bundles!

I spoke with Jennifer and explained that we had a roof leak that we needed fixed by the end of the week to beat the weekend rain. She confirmed that they had availability to make the repairs at the requested time and sent Rod, the company president, to perform an estimate. Rod appeared 15 minutes late (which was okay since he had a distance to drive) and did not have a ladder with him. No big deal, I just pulled out my ladder and we both checked out the roof. He genuinely walked through the various things that he saw as issues or potential issues and took pictures of them. He also confirmed that his worker, Gary, would be able to make these repairs by Friday. He took my email information and told me that he?d send the estimate so we can get it fixed in time. That was the last that I heard from him. No emails or calls to follow-up. Perhaps the job was too small as it was looking like this would be their minimum charge of $225. They have such great reviews that I was really looking forward to working with them. Another contractor ended up fixing the problem before the rain arrived. Rod, I?m sure that you built a successful business by providing high quality customer service. Hopefully it hasn?t made you forget the roots of your success.

It went well. Because of mis-communication (language problems I think) it took the workers and couple extra trips to get everything done. They didn't understand that they were to paint the garage doors, but they came back a couple of days later and did that. They also did not caulk all the windows on the right front side the first time around. But, overall they did a very good job, left no trash or debris and were very friendly and eager to please.
