The experience was really good. The technicians were incredibly professional, punctual, and really did the work in a timely manner. They got the work done when they said they would. It's been about four years, and I haven't had any problems.

I got them off Angie’s list. I would have never got to know about them if I had not used Angie’s list. The work turned out to be expensive. The original estimate was about $7500 and then when they took off the roof they found that all the decking had rotted out and they will have to replace all of t hat. That was an additional $2000 something and when everything was finished the total was $10000. I think they were really good. It was not their mistake that the wood had rotted out and they could not have predicted that. They were very good in communication. They were overall very professional. They were very responsive.

Excellent -ABC showed up as expected, removed our garage roof to the rafters, replaced the thr ridge beam , found to do the job correctly replaced several rafters with our prior approval, replaced decking, chimney flashing , utilie boots and shingles. This company knows the business of roofs with reasonable pricing. Their carpenter was excellent to have, very polite , knowledgable and hard working. He came out to finish a small amount of trim , did a double walk through of the complete job and done a double check of the grounds for nails and debris , of which we have found nothing left behind. We are completely satisfied their work and highly recommend them.

After calling a couple of other roofers we decided on ABC. They did a great job, I have only picked up two roofing nails from around the house. The crew worked in the almost 100 degree weather to get the job done. No leaks in our house now, and no leaves in the gutters. They cleaned up everyday when they left, and when the job was completed. Initially my experience with ABC was a good one. While their price came in higher than competitors, I went with them based on their standing with Angie's List combined with the assistance the salesman provided me in working with my insurance adjuster. Once I had agreed to a contract, things began taking a turn for the worse. There was an initial miscommunication between ABC and their supplies vendor which resulted in supplies being brought a week early and left blocking the driveway for two days before coming back to remove them. Once this supplier returned with supplies their lift truck used to drop the supplies left markings (from the tires?) all across my driveway which have still not gone away nearly two months later. In addition there was a gouge of 12-18 inches made in the concrete from the suppliers equipment. When I approached ABC was not responsible for this third party (which ABC hired) and any damages they may have caused. After my pushing back informing them otherwise we were able to arrange a meeting between ABC/the supplier/myself to discuss how to rectify the damages. While installing the roof, ABC's employees were less than professional while on the job. We were told a waste truck was required to be left in our driveway but would be removed daily so we could access the garage. Instead the truck coincidentally broke down and they had no other truck available to move their trailer resulting in it blocking access until the job was completed. In addition, when the trailer was picked up the driver had issues connecting it and through his efforts left a large oil stain on the driveway. Upon my complaints ABC did come out to fix this, but I had to make the complaint to get this corrected rather than the company cleaning their own messes. Waste product (shingles, etc) were thrown everywhere without regard to where they would land. While I understand this to some degree, I don't think throwing debris onto patio furniture/grills/kids toys is acceptable. At a minimum the workers could have moved these items, or informed someone they needed moved. Upon my complaints, these items were moved during the second day of installation, and then left out in the yard upon completion rather than being put back where they were moved from originally. Workers failed to bring the needed equipment, such as ladder, and instead used my deck railing to stand on to reach a lower level area. When finishing for the night gates were left open resulting in pets getting loose Damaged roof vents were installed and passed off as ok, I had to point these out to ABC and request they be replaced with undamaged vents. This took nearly two weeks to happen and only happened once I contacted them notifying I wouldn't be releasing payment until the issue was resolved. Their contractor came out the next day and replaced them, spending 2-3 hours right in the middle of Halloween trick or treating causing some inconvience with my little kids. During these issues I wrote my salesman who forwarded that on to the President of ABC Roofing. The president did respond to my email, however he would have been better off not having replied. The salesman had done a good job of listening to my issues and assisting the best he could, despite the problems we'd had I was satisfied with the attempts (discounting the price) ABC had made to remedy this job. However, the presidents response to me (his customer) were arrogant and condescending and I found it very insulting. How a president of a company can end nearly every sentence with " ! " and feel that's acceptable to send to his customer is beyond me. He would be better off leaving his sales staff to interact with his customers as his customer service/communication skills are lacking to say the least. In the end, considering the issues I found with the job as it was going on, I'm very concerned with the quality of work and what issues may be found at a later date as they're not visible now. I will not be using, nor recommending, ABC in the future.

Workman were punctual and cleaned up during and after the roof replacement. Gutters were done about a week later. I did not have to be at home for either. Salesman has been attentive and followed up to make sure all work was done correctly. Was able to work me in on a cancellation so the replacement was done very quickly from time of contract signing.

They came out, and the gentlemen looked at that and a few other things. I am now realizing at the time he never actually looked at the damage. I agreed to their bid and they did work. The wood was primed, so I could paint. I got on a ladder to paint and I noticed that pieces of rotten wood. It was so rotten that I could actually put my finger through it. If I hadn't gotten on the ladder I would have never have known this. I do not understand why a roof company would not mention that there were other rotten pieces on the siding. I called them and was assured that someone would call me back. I never received a call, so I called them again and was told I should expect a call the next day. I never received a call. When I finally received a call back they told my husband that it was too small a job and they were not interested, and that they have seen pieces of rotten wood on other homes, but in their experience the homeowner will have other damaged areas and they only want what they requested to be replaced and nothing else. They also said it would be a few months before they could schedule anything. I have a hole in my siding, and now I have to possibly go with another company. I do not understand why they didn't tell me that the wood was rotten. I am dissatisfied with their lack of courtesy and follow up. It isn't what they did do it is what they didn't do. I used them before, but I will not use them again.

We were very pleased with ABC Roofing. I received estimates from four different companies and spent a few weeks asking questions. ABC patiently answered our questions and clarified items. The office was efficient and the work crew did a good job with installation and clean up.

They are reliable and the cost was reasonable. They were efficient in getting the job done in a timely manner. It was very high quality work.

They were punctual, and followed the contract accordingly. Our new roof is great, and we are happy with their work. I recall no problems with them whatsoever.

My experience with them was very good. I thought their salesperson did a great job of explaining all of my options and suggesting things that would meet my needs. There was only one minor issue; they didn’t install the downspouts correctly.

My problem is they did not even ask me details on my issue or what my time table was for repair. I believe my siding was installed improperly and that I need all of it pulled off, the wood underneath portions replaced, the house wrapped, and then either new siding or replacement of the old siding. I would think all of this would cost between 6 and 8 grand and these guys say they are too busy. Pathetic.

Very professional in written bid and answer to questions, showed up on time, worked hard and smart all day and completed that same day. They did a thorough clean up with no damage to the landscaping. Job looks great, I would definitely hire again.

We noticed a slow leak in the master bathroom ceiling which was located near/below vent pipe on roof. ABC roofing came out and gave estimate for replacing the soil boot around vent pipe and confirmed the cause of the leak. The boot was cracked. They removed and replaced old boot. While we are waiting for rain to confirm stopped leakage, the roofer said the leak was definitely cause by the deteriorated boot. I am satisfied with the service performed and would use them again.

It went perfectly. The workers were very meticulous and nailed everything down with hammers instead of nail guns. Ultimately, they did excellent work, and the roof looks great.

Had a leak on a flat roof. Mr. Leitz come and diagnosed problem and solution. Gave me a very reasonable price in comparison to a $1200 estimate I received from a competitor. Solved the problem. Very satisfied.

They did a great job. They gave us an extended warranty. I thought it was wonderful to get an extended warranty on the labor, I think it was for around $200 to $300. My roofing material was guaranteed for thirty years and I got the labor guaranteed for twenty years with an extra warranty. So that was fabulous. They did a really good job. They were quick and very efficient. We will use their services again in the future.
