After getting several estimates from other area roofing companies, we found ABC roofing was by far the most professional of them all. Their quotes were accurate and well defined. This company is easy to contact and always returned calls very promptly when I did leave a message. All employees were polite and curtious. All scheduled work was performed right on time and all issues dealt with promptly. You can't go wrong with this company as they place customer satisfaction high on their priority list. I give them an A+ without hesitation and will use them again if the need should arise in the future.

They came promptly on the scheduled day and worked into the night. It was drizzling, and we weren't sure they could do the work, but they did and cleaned up very thoroughly. They came back and installed the gutters about a week later. We have a 10-year guarantee on both the materials and labor for any repairs needed. They are coming back to do a walkover after the recent bad weather.Their crews were polite and hard-working. Our original roof had been misinstalled in part, and it is a relief to know that we now have a good cover over our heads. They also installed a drip edge.

They did a great job, and did all I asked them to do as far as a roof.

I consulted Angie's List to find a reputable roofing company once my homeowners insurance agreed that my roof was damaged due to a hail storm. ABC Roofing was one of the first companies to be listed and they had very favorable reviews. There were two or three others that I also contacted but they didn't return my call. Steve Fulford was the representative from ABC that came to my home and provided a very thorough estimate and explained a few shortcomings on the insurance adjuster's estimate. Steve was very professional and courteous and made me feel very comfortable working with ABC Roofing. Once I received my initial payment from the insurance company, things moved very quickly. The shingles and supplies were delivered on a Saturday and they began work on Monday. The total time was about a day and a half. The Owens-Corning shingles that ABC uses were very high quality shingles and came in a color that we (my wife) loved. Steve explained how durable these shingles are and also informed us that they do not use nail guns during the installation. ABC Roofing was extremely great to work with and they were very understanding and patient when it came to receiving the final payment from the insurance company. I would definitely use ABC Roofing again and I have recommended them to several of my friends and family who are in need of roofing work.

Everything went great but, since they don't do all of the work we need for the insurance job, we went with someone else.

Very professional company. They were quick about setting up an appointment for the estimate. They were on time and answered all my questions. It only took a couple of days to receive my written estimate. Once we decided on the work to be done, they were quick on setting up a date for installation. The roofing material was delivered the day before and placed in the exact location I requested. It rained the day the roof was to be installed, but they came the next day. The workers were prompt and respectful. I was surprised at the number of workers they sent! They covered my bushes and yard with plastic to catch the old material they were removing. The workers rotated during lunch with no break in the installation process. They started at 8:00 and were done by 2:30. They checked the yard for any nails or materials that may have been left. They cost was reasonable and actually came in under what my insurance said they would pay. The roof looks great and the work was exceptional. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

ABC Roofing did an outstanding job with my shingle replacement. From the visit to assess and quote on the job to the scheduling to the actual roof replacement, all were done professionally and reliably. The quotation was very detailed including separate prices for various upgrades for the job. This allowed me to make an informed decision. We have plantings around the house which we wanted to protect and all plants were covered to avoid damage. The cleanup following the job was excellent. They used a large crew which allowed the job to be completed in less than two days. ABC Roofing included such things in the job as replacement of the square vents and installed a ridge vent which provides the house with a much cleaner look. I would highly recommend ABC roofing to anyone looking for a contractor that can provide a very professional installation. And the roof looks beautiful!

We were very disappointed because ABC is highly rated on Angie's list and had previously done a nice job for us with a new roof. I thought the estimate for the siding work was a bit high, but in fairness the work to be completed was somewhat open-ended (e.g. ABC would repair the cedar boards on the front of the house that were rotting, cracked, and needing replacement). The lumber was dropped off in our driveway as planned. The lumber yard invoice ($442) was inadvertently left on top of the wood stack. ABC came out to prime and stain the boards ahead of the repairs (we left out all the painting materials for them). The only problem was that they painted the wood all the same trim stain color and many of the boards would need repainting with the second stain. On the day of the repairs, the work crew of 4 showed up. Only the foreman could speak any English and it was clear that he did not know the scope of work. I walked around the property with him and tried to explain all the repairs that had been discussed. I called ABC and spoke to the project manager, who told me the crew had not stopped by to get the SOW. So, he called the foreman and talked him through it. They worked from their arrival time of about 9 AM until approximately 3 PM with an hour break for lunch. I don't know what these guys are paid, but with lunch and travel thrown in this is only about 30 man-hours of direct labor (with a couple of hours for painting added). Several observations: The repairs had clearly not been been completed, especially on the front wall (eave) of the home. Some repaired wood had not been repainted to match the correct stain. And, the crew had run out of wood. Since they had packed up for the day without any communication about project status, we just assumed they were coming back to finish the work. I later called the manager who told me the project was completed. We enthusiastically chatted about this issue! Later that week (think it was a Saturday), the manager came out and later the foreman. On obvious items (e.g. repainting the wrong-colored wood, new boards that were clearly not nailed in squarely, and obviously missed rotting wood that was not repaired), the project manager was agreeable that ABC would fix these mistakes. For the wood repairs needed on the front of the house, he was very disagreeable. He argued that he had taken photos of every specific board that we had discussed and the repairs that I was asking for (replacement of still obviously rotting, cracking boards) were not on that list. This was going to cost him $$$. Unfortunately, he did not have the photo list available for this discussion or for the work crew to review. Eventually, he relented and the crew repaired most of the problem boards (to my now minimal expectations!). They came out to the house over a week later (just showed up one day) well after the target date that we had discussed. There was no communication from ABC about this! To sum this up. In my opinion, we seemingly experienced some excessive pricing coupled with spotty quality of work during this project. Eventually, they got most of the work right. But, the most critical problem appeared to be the poor communication by the ABC project manager. I think this manager needs to think about his communication practices with both customers and work crews. And, it's not a good idea to argue with a customer over a half-dozen short siding boards that clearly needed repair, especially when your profit margin appears to be so high! Since this event (around the 4th of July), we had a problem with some gutters and a downspout drain. I called a major competitor of ABC to help us because of our poor experience with this siding project. Too bad...we shall not be calling ABC again!

Jeff Holland responded quickly, and on time. He walked the roof and gave me options providing written bids for each proposal.

ABC Roofing was a great contractor. They provided a quote on my roof and gutters in a timely manner, also met with my insurance adjuster to speed the process along. The roofing crew completed the work quickly and the roof looks great. My new gutters work well.

Initially they were very responsive in terms of getting back in touch with me. Their customer service is very prompt in terms of coming out to giving estimates and getting the sale. Once they get the sale it's a different story. They haven't returned my phone calls when I have tried to get in touch with them. When the gentleman from ABC roofing came out the second time, they didn't have good notes regarding what my insurance had said. He than had to come out a third time to do measurements, when he should have just done that the previous time. When I signed the contract, two weeks in advance of the service date, it stated that the work was suppose to be done yesterday. I even requested a day off work for them to come out on this day. The company knew this ahead of time, but they never showed up. They didn't even call to cancel. Their customer service is absolutely awful. All of this has been going on for two months. I ended up canceling my order and would not use this company in the future.

Consultation: I spoke with John Titus and he inspected the roof, met my adjuster at my home and continued to work with my adjuster through the process. This helped to ensure that all damaged items were accounted for. John helped me understand what other features/options there were and why I may want to choose some of the upgrades (vents, upgraded shingles, drip edge, ice d*** protection, etc) Through out the process, Joanne who works in the office, was always helpful. She answered my questions when she was able and always got back with an answer if she needed to check on something. I really appreciated her follow through on ensuring I was in the loop as to what was happening and when. Installation: The crew showed up around 7:30 and removed the old roof. They use tarps to cover the yard, bushes, etc and ensure that they capture the debris and dispose of it quickly. For the next couple hours I heard them working on the roof and by 2pm or so they were done. I'm no roofer but it looks great from what I can see. I did ask John to come do a post installation inspection, which he said he always does. The gutters were done a few days later along with the ventilation and ac combing. The work took only a couple of hours and they were gone before I knew it. Post Installation: John came by to check on the job. He inspected the roof and found a couple nails that weren't caulked. He spent about 15 - 20 minutes on the roof. Then he used a magnetic roller to get any nails that weren't picked up when the roofers were here. I hadn't seen many but John picked up quite a few. This was a nice to have them do; I thought once the roofers were gone then it was pretty much done. He also found some minor debris that he picked up and cleaned up. I just made my final payment to Joanne and like usual, she was very easy to work with. I like working with a LOCAL company that isn't a storm chaser and will be around for years to come if I ever have any issues. I have recommended ABC to my mother and some of my friends.

We did not select ABC Roofing, but I thought their professionalism and response time was worth mentioning.

Initially I thought I was working with a good company that I had worked with before to replace my roof. Around 8/22 I called ABC Roofing Inc. to come out and give me an estimate to repair the sections. John Titus came out and spent some time with me looking over the damage. At this point I was very impressed by his professionalism. He said that he was very busy, but would get an estimate to me in a few days, which he did. On 08/25 he e-mailed me a contract with the estimate and what would be included in the repair. I reviewed the estimates from each company and decided that ABC appeared to be the best pick. I looked over the contract again and wanted to make sure that it included specific repairs that John had noted at the time he came and looked at the siding. I sent him a reply to his e-mail indicating that I would like the wording added to the contract. I have yet to hear back from him (09/14/2012). I tried reaching him by e-mail, calling the office and his personal phone number on his business card. Still no response. When I went to file the estimate with my other bills and receipts I noticed that we had a receipt from ABC for repairs earlier in the year to the siding at the top of our house, which John had brought to my attention, he said that it was done incorrectly. I wonder if this had anything to do with them not acknowledging any of my attempts to contact him. Anyway, I had already told the other contractors that I had accepted another bid, so I have to start all over again to try and get this fixed before another bad storm hits.

ABC Roofing is an extremely professional company. The gentleman who came out to look at the problem was very knowledgeable and took extra time in trouble shooting the issues. Both the estimator and the repairman who did the work were on-time and took the time necessary to do a thorough job. We are very pleased and would use them again and recommend them to others.

They were on time and efficient. They cleaned up their mess. The roof looks great. We would use them again. I did have a problem with them responding to our calls about our screens in our gutters.

They did great, they were very good at coming out and doing a proposal. They brought out paper work for me before they started. They did the roof in 1 day, and did an excellent job cleaning up.

We used the shingles upgrade coupon from Angie's List. They did it all in just one day. The roof looks SPECTACULAR! Every time we look at the house, we think we need new siding, because the roof looks so much better than the rest of the house. John was really easy to work with and very accommodating (they also fixed some soffit).THANK YOU!

The experience was very positive. I had gotten 3 or 4 different bids, but they were quite a bit less expensive. They were extremely professional. They were on time and cleaned up. They were wonderful.

They did a very good job overall! They worked in somewhat cold temperatures, so I was impressed with the fact that they kept at it and got the job done. Their price seemed very fair and we were happy with them.

They were fantastic to work with overall! We interviewed a few other roofers, and they were all fine, but this company stood out since they have a special certification (Certified Platinum Preferred Contractor) from the manufacture of the roof shingles that guarantees the work, as well as the product.

The experience was alright overall. They ultimately did a good job, but they had to come back to re-do the work, since they weren’t able to get it right the first time. I also had to call them initially to get the repair done a few times.
