Description of Work: These people were replacing a very bad roof down the road from me and it got me to thinking that maybe I needed to get my roof done sooner rather than later. They came out gave me an estimate, worked with my insurance company(hail damage) and 2 weeks later completed the roof in one day. Cleaned up around the yard. I had had a concern because I run a dog rescue out of my home but they did an excellant job cleaning up. Would highly recomend them to any of my neighbors and friends!!

Description of Work: Several years ago, after a hailstorm, we were told by several roofers that we needed a new roof. Mr. Leitz found about six damaged shingles, replaced them and charged me less than $100.

Description of Work: Gary came out 3 times. Every time he 'fixed' something to repair our leak. Finally got tired of still having a leak. Called 3 different roofingcompanies. They all asked why did I have shingles on the flat roof section of my house. They all said that is the first thing to fix...put on a rubber roof for the flat section of the roof. Gary never suggested this. I wonder why this man has been in business for 30 yrs. yet doesn't know that rubber should be the covering for a flat roof? We hired a roofing company to replace this area....no more leaks! We think Gary just liked to come out and chat, and do something to fill his day. He also had no suggestions in regard to putting and ice and shield dam around vents. All 3 roof companies strongly urged this.

Description of Work: Replaced a flat roof on second story of another family member's house that had been damaged by wind earlier in the year. Made a written estimate after discussing options with me, based on how long house expected to be kept until sold and made a recommendation which I thought was a good one and accepted. This was a tricky repair to make in December, being a flat roof and requiring a little better weather than for a sloped, shingled roof to execute, and because the weather has been pretty bad since labor day for roofing as far as lots of rain days. This was also tricky because the flat roof had not been done very well previously, so the insurance claim was only for replacement cost as would be expected. For an additional $600.00 above the claim, we got a new top layer on the flat roof that is light years better with much better materials and workmanship than what was there before and looks like it would hold up where the previous one didn't. This was also tricky because it is not as big a job as a complete reroof on a whole house, and the previous roofing company I talked to didn't take the job and didn't communicate very well, so I lost several weeks earlier in the fall which is what pushed this repair into December. The owner of Leitz roofing that I went with communicated well and throughout the process, whereas the other company I tried previously didn't communicate very well. I also talked to the crew foreman while they were finishing up and I was making an inspection and taking pictures for my insurance agent and was favorably impressed with the foreman and crew in terms of knowledge, ability and attention to detail. I would recommend this roofing company. It did take several weeks from when I first asked for an estimate, until I had a contract, and until the work was done, but that is reasonable considering that it rained more days than it didn't during that period, and any roofing company you would want has probably got other jobs already. The only stressor in this repair, and a big one was the weather impact on getting the job done. They found a weather window when they could do it and they were right. They had to blow torch some water away that was accumulated under the damaged layer of flatroof, were able to do that to prepare the surface, and did a great job.

Description of Work: After 48 years, the 5'x8' flat original tar and gravel roof, which connected the two sections of our house, began to leak. We hired a recommended roofer to make repairs. Shortly thereafter the leaking resumed. The roofers returned and attempted to blame us for the problem citing leaves fallen on the roof from nearby trees should have been removed by us. They agreed finally to undertake new repairs, which proved to be a failure. We hired ABC to solve the problem. They convinced us that a new rubber sub-roof was required by showing us why that was so. We agreed, and the work was completed in a professional manner for a reasonable price.

Description of Work: ABC quoted my roofing project. They were the highest of 4 bidders, but not that far out of line with the other bidders. Their estimate was the most detailed, and easiest to understand. I went with another contractor, but I appreciate their work in providing a quote.

Description of Work: Three years ago, ABC Roofing did a complete tear off and new roof on my home and they did a wonderful job. During our recent wind storm one of my attic fan covers was torn off my roof. I was lucky enough to find the cover in my yard and called ABC to find out if they could resolve the issue. As you can imagine they were extremely busy and booked for the entire week. I explained that the weather report for the next few days included rain/snow and they immediately indicated they would do everything possible to come to my home to at least cover the area so no further damage was incurred. I simply had to be flexible with the time they would be able to arrive. The very next day Rod himself arrived and was able to repair the issue quickly to ensure no further damage was done to the roof by the weather. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate them taking care of my issue when they were clearly swamped with work that was scheduled and other storm damage. It is such a great feeling to know that a company you hired 3 years ago STILL considers you a priority in this type of situation. As we all know, a roof is no small investment, but investing with ABC and Rod's team will certainly be one that you you can feel comfortable with. They have been by far the most responsive and customer service focused company I have ever hired(from the first time I contacted them until even 3 years later). If you are considering any type of roofing work, please consider giving this team a call.

Description of Work: When I needed a new roof, I got estimates from 5 companies, all of which were highly rated on Angie's List. While I didn't ultimately choose this company, they were clearly my 2nd choice. If you are considering a new roof, your estimate process should include ABC.

Description of Work: Was going to use this company for my new roof, but another company I had called and used in the past called and worked with me on the price. I had a very good experience with the Salesman Jim Titus and his proposal was excellent with pictures and explanations of the work needed. They truly did a thorough estimate on this job. I hope I am not sorry for using the other company for the difference of a few hundred dollars.

Description of Work: Removed slate roof and replaced with shingle, replaced gutters. Did a tremendous job at a very good price. We have a "complex" roof including dormers, flat roofs and strange slopes. They did a great job making sure we were satisfied. Only issue is that in one particularly tricky area, they did not quite get things sealed right and about a year later we had some leaking. Rod was very prompt in getting out to fix the damage himself. We are now using them for gutter covers.

When the roofers arrived at both houses, they were ready to go each morning and everyone knew their job. They were professional and extremely clean!! Each night, they cleaned up before they left. We also had them install gutter covers to our home. Rod came out for a final walk-around after they were finished and we were very happy with the job done. He noticed that a few gutter covers were not properly attached and immediately sent someone out to make it right. Both we and our neighbors feel this is a company with high ethics and a desire to make the customer happy. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to re-roof. They are a QUALITY company!

Description of Work: I called ABC for an estimate on replacing our 35 year old gutters. Within a couple days a very polite gentleman came out and looked over our situation. In the meantime, he educated me on gutter installation - something I knew absolutely nothing about. I obtained another estimate which was comparable to ABC's. I decided to go with ABC. An install date was established but had to be postponed a couple times due to bad weather (February). The team arrived and had the job done in about 4-5 hours. They did a great cleanup, also. The price was $2,221 which I thought to be reasonable as I thought it would be more (not knowing much about this sort of thing). I was very impressed with ABC from start to finish and would certainly recommend them to anyone.
