Excellent service, One of the selling factors for me was when John the sales rep, did a 'quick fix' on our roof leak to prevent further damage, even before he knew we would choose his company. Everyone from ABC was great about communicating with me in a timely manner and showed up when they said they would be here. Love the new roof and gutters.

Everything went as planned. They came out here with 6 or 7 workers and were able to finish the job in a day and a half. We had one concern with our roof vent and they replaced it as soon as we talked with the lead worker. I would definitely hire ABC again.

ABC sent someone out to take a look at the job within a couple days of my call. The sales rep they sent used to actually do roofing jobs, so he was very knowledgeable about what he was looking at, and how to fix it. They came out to do the job a week later and needed a day and a half to complete. The work was completed on a Friday, and the following Monday we had strong thunderstorms. The screened in porch roof leaked at the point where new decking met the old. I called ABC on Tuesday about the leak, and they sent the original sales rep out within a few hours to see the problem. He explained that sometimes where the new shingles are weaved into the old ones a leak is possible. He got on the roof to apply some caulking. We had more strong storms on the next day - no leaks. Overall, they were prompt, responsive, did good work, and charged a reasonable price. I would definitely use them again.

One was around the fireplace and one was on the roof itself. We had no trouble with scheduling. They told us when they were coming and that’s when they came. We like them and would recommend them and their pricing was very fair.

This house built about 1920 and had a very steep roof over most of the house and a flat roof over the family room. The original estimate was $9770 for the shingle work and $1300 for gutter replacement. Since the house was built so long ago, neither the estimator nor myself were surprised by what was found once work began. The tear off and re-shingle of the house went well with apparently no issues. The flat roof over the family room was another story. There was about 80 years of attempted repairs performed on that section of the home with layer upon layer of metal, roll roofing, rubber and tar, all of which sagging the roof and were removed by ABC. After the removal of the old material, it was discovered that most of the roof joists were disintegrating. ABC replaced the joists with new, lowered the curb about 4 inches and covered everything with plywood and a rubber sheet. When installing the gutters/downspouts, it was discovered that many of the gutter boards that the gutters attached to had rotted out. This was also not too much of a surprise and these were also replaced. The on-site crew and Steve the sales director kept me informed about everything that was happening, asked prior approval for the additional work, and did not jerk me around on pricing for the additional work, even though they very well could have. There was an additional $2165 for the additional flat roof repairs, extra plywood, joists, gutter boards, extra labor, and extra debris haul away. The work on the flat roof took a couple of extra day's time. The on-site crew took photos of everything they found and were eager to share them with me. All shingle and roof debris was removed from the yard. The guys repairing the flat roof were polite and knowlegable and came off the roof to greet me when I unexpectedly visited. Steve, the director of sales was knowlegable and professional. For example, he noted that the existing gutters on the house were the incorrect size for the steepness of the roof and suggested a larger size and also asked if the current roof had decking or was nothing more than 1x6 boards. He also observed the the central chimney was in need of repair and suggested that the chimney repair be completed before the roofers arrived. Chimney masonry work is not part of ABC's line of work and there was no pressure to perform the chimney work, nor did anyone at ABC try to steer me toward a favored masonry contractor. All the roofing and gutter work was completed within 2-3 weeks of the estimate. The only surprise came from the office staff. They called to tell me the work was completed and the amount of the final invoice balance. On the phone they said that the 'wrong' shingles had been delivered to the job site and that the shingles might be a slightly different shade of black. I was a little unsure how to react to that bit of information because the shingles were already nailed down and little could be done at this late stage. However, at least ABC had the courage and honesty to inform me of the mistake because I would never have known otherwise. I would use ABC roofing again.

A crew came out for the service. I did not like the fact that they used hired help and that was not made clear to me. A sale person came out, was great at his job and made the product seem top notch. He actually ended up getting parts of the contract wrong. The contractors who did come out did not seem to be very professional and were definitely not with ABC Roofing. The work the technicians did was fine, however. There was never any clear pricing and the overall service was not wonderful.

Great communication on all aspects of the job. The crew was professional and prideful of their work during the tear-off, instillation and clean up. No less than a seven man crew work 12 hours a day and always with a happy courteous attitude. They took the time to cover the pool and shrubs with tarps and the Pool mechanicals and AC units with plywood to protect them from damage. Of the five companies that gave estimates ABC was 7,000 thousand dollars below the high bid and about 2,200 above the low guy with superior service and workmanship. I hardly ever hire anything down because I am never happy with the results ? but this time I hit a homerun?The roof looks awesome with thick dimensional and substantial ridge shingles.

They came out but we weren’t able to use the service so I am in the process of getting the Big Deal refunded.

ABC replaced the chimney flashing because of a leak last autumn. At that time, the technician recommended that the other chimney, which had its flashing installed in the same way, be replaced as a preventive measure. (The repair to the first chimney did in fact end the leak.) This company has always been easy to work with. The tech promptly visited our house to confirm measurements, an estimate was e-mailed to me (matching the estimate from last November), the work occurred as promised and billing was handled over the phone. Nice to have a reliable roofing expert available.

It was a great experience. They were great guys. In both times they re-roofed our house, they did an excellent job. John was very prompt, reliable and easy to work with. The first time they re-roofed our house, they had the best price.

ABC Roofing was extremely professional. They were very easy to do business with, always punctual and reachable by telephone whenever needed. Despite the weather conditions over the winter, they still worked through it and completed all the work as promised. Ryan Standifer was my Sales Representative and he personally was great to work with. Very professional and always a gentleman. I plan to use the company again if future needs warrant.

It was very good. They gave me the quotes right away, I got electronically and it has several options. It has separate quotes for the gutter replacement and roofing. They are a platinum preferred contractor for Owens Corning as well and so that is probably the one we are going to use. They got me the quotes that afternoon. It was a reasonable price compared to others but they also use premium products. Even if ABC went out of business, Owens Corning would cover the warranty as a part of being a certified contractor by them. They have good reviews from Angie’s List and BBB but the thing that I am most impressed is with the fact that they have a high ranking in Owens Corning preferred list of contractors. So, they have good credentials. The price is comparable to the quality of the products being provided and they are high quality shingles. They have been prompt and thorough. The next question is if they can do the job and I have no reservations that they will not. The estimator was here on time and as planned. He was very professional in explaining everything to me. He explained the options and gave me some samples of the material that is going to be used.

A representative from the company emailed me and said that because they had not caught up on repairs from before the new year, they were no longer taking any appointments. I found this very odd that they are no longer accepting any clients.

ABC staff provided immediate response to our inquiry and request for quote. Staff stayed in touch throughout the process with updates about project and timing. Work was high quality, and service and cost were as described. Appearance of dimensional shingles is nice, as expected. New roof has withstood harsh weather - high winds, heavy rains and snow/ice - with no problems. We would hire ABC again and recommend them highly.

They were very easy to work with. They were responsive and they listened. He brought samples and we decided and it turned out awesome.

It went very well. They were very professional and pleasant to deal with. I would use them again and I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Two workers showed up on time, installed insulation, cleaned up the areas they accessed in the attic.

This company had the lowest quote compared to other. He was able to come out right away to give a quote and was able to fix the issue in the same appointment. He was truly interested in just fixing my problem and not trying to get a lot of money out of me. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I had hail damage to my roof, gutters, siding, and screens. They replaced them. They came when they said they would, performed all of the work in a timely manner, and it looks great. So, far it is keeping me warm and dry through heavy rain, snow, and freezing temperatures. UPDATE 4/14/14 I noticed a leak on 4/4/14. There is a stain on my ceiling from the roof leaking. I called ABC Roofing on 4/7/14. Someone came and took pictures of the stain and they went into the attic and took pictures of the wet boards and insulation. They told me the contractor who would do the work would call me on 4/9/14. No one called. I called ABC Roofing again on 4/10/14 and told them no one had called. Two people came out. They photographed everything again. When they had originally done the roof there were scraps of shingles left in my attic. They took photos of that as well. They told me they might be able to get me on the schedule that day but no one came back out or called. I made a third call 4/11/14. They told me they were working on it. Someone called me back to told me I "need to be patient". Today is 4/14/14 and I haven't heard from them yet. My original review had A's for each category. Based on my recent experiences, I have updated those grades.

ABC was my 3rd estimate, spoke to John Titus about hail damage and age of current roof. Out of the 3, ABC was not only the best price, but they were also the only one that didn't try to convince me I needed to do things that didn't need to be done. They finished the job in 2 days, did such a good clean up I couldn't find one nail with a magnet! There were minor little fixes that needed to be done, but John was out here the same day I called and actually did the repairs himself on the spot! EXCELLENT job all around! Sorry it took so long for this review, I don't know how I missed it.

After having ABC Roofing replace my roof, (very steep, turret, and bees!), I was so impressed with the workmanship, the supervision by Jeff, the 12 hour days, and the neatness each day, that I had Jeff give my mom an estimate for her roof in Lafayette. My roof was done on 2 90 degreee + days and hers when rain delayed and cold. Workmen were very responsible and efficient. Roofing contractor, Jeff, was very watchful, responsive to any concerns or issues that came up and respectful. He went out of his way at mom's to make sure her attic and her eaves were in better condition than started - fastened tightly and no buckets in the attic. No inflation of what was needed was ever pushed on us. Both of us were extremely pleased with the job. I am having them redo our 2 story garage next summer as well.

Replaced my roof after extensive hail damage. This company and all of its employees were unbelievably patient, honest, and worked hard with my insurance company. It is difficult enough to work with your insurance company run around getting covered damages within your policy paid for, but when your a single month with 3 kids (1-disabled) recovering from cancer... It was impossible for me to deal with this circus of stress at the time it occurred. But after showing firm conviction that I was wanting the work done on my home by this company and before I signed a contract with exactly what they would be able to get done for me, ABC Roofing went to work with my insurance company for me. After almost a year of deliberation & 2 adjusters & 3 or 4 re inspections that ABC came to every one, I was able to sign for exactly what work ABC would do for my roof. I felt ABC went way above & beyond what any company should have had to do to work with my insurance for me. My house did not have a mortgage so all checks from insurance went to me rather than ABC. They took a big risk that all their time, attention & hard work with my insurance company would never pay out to them. And the crew that came to tear off and replace my roof were so fast, respectful, clean & neat... The crew that hung new gutters were also fast & did a beautiful job. I will always be grateful for the hard work they performed even before I could sign a contract for exactly what they would be paid for! I never could have handled such a big insurance job without them! Thank you ABC Roofing!

The first time due to age of the roof, the second due to a hail storm. On both occasions they've been very responsive, professional, and reasonable in price.

Very professional. Wrote a VERY details quote and was not high pressure during our negotiations. Offered suggestions and information but left the decision up to us. Arrived on time and finished on time. Cleaned up afterwards and left no mess. Called with a follow up call.

The whole process took way too long and communication was not good or terrible on their end. The roof job went OK and was done on the date they said it would be done. The gutters were a nightmare and the female I spoke with from ABC Roofing admitted that she messed up when she ordered the materials for the gutters and did not order the correct materials. It took about 4 weeks with me calling them every week to get the gutters done and then they came at dark and installed the gutters in the dark! Communication was awful on their end and I do not recommend them for roofing and gutters.
