We had hail in the spring. By the time he finished it was in August. In the end he did a good job. However, it took a really long time.

Everything took approximately 7 hours! They showed up, worked hard, made NO mess, and left. Couldn't of asked for more. Owner has even dealt with our insurance.

Very happy. I felt they told me exactly what did and did not need to be done. They could have over reccomended but I think they were honest and fair.

James Moore of A1 came in with not only the best bid but also a very thorough quote, There were no "surprises". Shingles used were top quality Corning lifetime. Crew was right on time and completed the job in one day as estimated. They were hard working and neat. James stopped by three times to check on progress. As a coincidence we had a thorough independent home inspection a few weeks later. The housing inspector complimented on the excellent job that was done on our roof!

Once claim was settled work on repair was done in a prompt and professional manner. Work quality was very good and I am very satisfied with the finished job. Would definantly use A1 for roofing needs and highly recommend this company. Great customer service.

It did not go. because of me not able to be home during the appointment times. This provider made over and beyond the attempts to get together with me. Unfortunately we never got to meet. There was not enough damage to the roof to require a new roof to be put on the house. Will wait until it really needs a new roof to complete the process.

He called in advance to schedule and then came by to check the roof. He climbed up the roof as well as looked in the attic. He fixed the crack that he found.

He was personable and worked with us to meet our needs.. with no up-sell pressure and a sincere interest in establishing good customer relations.

We had A-1 out to check for hail damage and were given them name by a family friend. Scott came out to check everything out and also planned to come out to meet the insurance adjuster. As Scott had indicated, the entire roof and gutters needed to be replaced and fortunately we had no issue with the insurance company. We signed the contract and the roof was replaced a week later and the gutters the week following that. We were very pleased with the customer service and responsiveness with A-1. They were very patient as we waited on the insurance checks to come back and forth from the insurance company and our mortgage company. We did make sure to keep an eye out for nails after the roof and gutters were on, but we're very pleased with the service we received.

The owner James was the first contractor to respond to our inquiry and was able to follow up with us immediately with a quote. His team was able to schedule us in a short time frame and did a great job in days time to remove and replace our entire roof. The folks were professional and conscientious of their work and clean up. James made himself available to answer questions along the way. It was good experience.

They installed a new roof in September of 2012. When the workers were here they did some damages to an exhaust fan when they pulled it out and now it does not work. Also, when replacing some of the wood they punched a hole in my drywall ceiling. He denied both of those claims I made for damages. Now I have a leak and call and left him a voice mail a week ago and have not heard back from him. This service provider came out to correct the work for me beginning of September 2013. I am pleased with the results.

Several months later, we had an inside leak in the same area after a heavy rain. I called the owner James Moore, and A-1 sent someone out to look at the chimney area. They looked up at the chimney from our deck, without even needing to get back up on the roof, and said they saw what the problem was, it hadnt been finished correctly. They went up in the attic, and said that it had been leaking for sometime. They said they would repair the chimney area free of charge when the weather was warmer. They never called back. I called them, left a message, no call back. That was several months ago, and obviously we are not going to hear from them. Another company came out, stood on the deck, looked up and said they too saw what the problem was. We finally contracted the other company to finish everything, inside and out and they did so in a very professional manner. We have never heard back from A 1. I dont know what A 1 Roofing felt would be fair as to what their responsibility should be, but we have had to pay someone to repair their mistake with the chimney, and also pay all over again to have the inside repair re done. Thats several thousand dollars out of our pocket. Prior to them not returning phone calls or following up, I could have recommended them, but not now. I am very disappointed and expected something more from them than what I got, which what I got was , NOTHING>

They did a wonderful job. They helped us select the color of the roofing that we wanted and he said he would be out at a certain day and his helpers were here at 7:30 that day. They worked all day and took the present roof off and put the new one on. They did the same with the little shed we have in the back. They cleaned up completely after themselves. They covered up all my so-called flowers with a tarp, and I had no damage to any of my flowers. They worked steady and did a wonderful job.

In February 2013, we experienced water intrusion in the same area as before and where A-1 Roofing had worked. The water intrusion caused significant drywall damage on the interior of our home. Several attempts to contact the A-1 Roofing representative went unanswered. This led to my initial poor review by A-1 Roofing earlier in March 2013. Following that review, the owner, James Moore, contacted me to discuss what they could do to remedy the situation. Mr. Moore and another representative, Steve, promptly came out, identified the problem, and fixed it at no charge. In addition, they retained a drywall contractor to repair and paint the interior ... again, at no charge. A-1 Roofing sincerely apologized for the issue and steadfastly stood behind their repair work. It remains to be seen whether the fix works. However, A-1 Roofing's response and willingness to make the necessary repairs and fix any collateral damage is greatly appreciated. Based upon my experience, there are no guarantees that things will always work or come out perfectly; but what you can guarantee is that one stands behind their work and will remedy any problems. That is exactly what A-1 Roofing did. Based upon my recent experiences, I would recommend using A-1 Roofing.

All done in one day. All work as prescribed. Excellent cleanup.

I Contacted A-1 for an estimate for replacing our roof, James quickly returned my call. He came out the following day to give us an estimate. After receiving several estimates, we chose to go with A-1. James and his crew were professional, hardworking, and easy to work with. Finished the job on time as promised. Would definatley use A-1 in the future.

Great experience from start to finish! They were at my house an hour after I called requesting an estimate. I called several A rated roofing companies, including A-1, for estimates and there's was by far the lowest cost for the amount of work. Once we finalized the work to be done, the crew was out 2 days later to replace the roof and a couple days later to replace the gutters. They were quick and the work done was excellent. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Great experience and will definitely use them again in the future!

The damage our window workers did to our roof was extensive enough that we would have had problems with the first snowfall or ice storm. James was aware of this and since it was the second week of November we all realized that our time was limited before the weather would change. James was very responsive and came to replace the roof within a week of requesting his services. Great job!

The crew arrived early and didn't leave, until the job was done and the clean-up was complete. Mr. Moore was on site to check the work being done. I am satisfied with the job , and would recommend them to friends and neighbors.

A-1 was great to deal with through the whole process, from estimate to installation to payment. Crew arrived early and completed the job in one day; they were polite and professional. A couple of minor concerns were addressed immediately and to our satisfaction. We would defininitely hire A-1 and James Moore again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Came out promptly after I called and were able to replace a skylight the same day. Replaced roofing a few days later and cleaned up well afterwards.

They did the job promptly and they honored the coupon from Angie's List. The owner was involved everyday during the job to make sure that everything was good and to see if I was satisfied.

James was very prompt to checkout the house from hail damage. Scheduling start time and finish time of service was great. Workers did a outstanding job. Roof and gutters look great.
