A Danny Phillips Plumbing

He did a great job for me, fixed the spigot for my washing machine. I called him after hours, and he came before noon today, I was on a phone meeting when he came, and he was very fast, finishing before my call was even done.

Danny has completed a few projects for me and is simply the best. He is meticulous, explains my options clearly and is very responsive. He has "fixed" some of the things another area plumber (that supposedly specializes in older homes) that I had done a couple of years ago. I wish I would have had Danny on speed dial when I bought my home!

Our house is very old & the plumbing is difficult. Danny specializes in older homes and has always done a fantastic job for us - we wouldn't have any other plumber! Danny is very thorough and careful - always takes the time to explain what needs to be done & the possible risks (especially in an older home) - so we're well informed. Danny is also very personable - a geniunely nice man. We've had him do our bathroom remodel, snake slow drains, install new outside faucet, fix sinks & toilets. He's the BEST!

It went very great. It was a lot of hard work but he got the work done in about 3 days.

Danny was wonderful He was prompt, professional and gracious. He was very meticulous about his work and you could tell that he is proud of a job well done. He explained exactly what the problem was and how he would fix it so this did not happen in the future. I would highly highly recommend him

Danny was extremely kind and professional. He fit us in to his schedule promptly. I did NOT get the feeling that he was trying to sell me anything. He just seemed like a nice person that wants to make an honest living. I will use him anytime I need a plumber from now on. I actually would have paid more just for his honesty.

Danny has always responded promptly to my calls. He has always worked my jobs into his schedule and he has from time-to-time recommended *not* doing work that he could have easily done and charged me for. He knows our neighborhood and is highly regarded by other home maintenance professionals that I've talked with.

Dan was a pleasure to work with, I will be using his company again for future work. He was prompt (wish I could say the same about myself- I confused our agreed upon time and wasn't home that morning. He handled my mistake in a kind and professional manner and was even able to come back later that day- thanks Dan!) He completed the repair quickly. He gave me a discount for Angie's List customers so that the bill was actually below the low estimate we agreed on.

He did a great job. He came out on a Sunday for the first job and was very reasonably priced. He walked me through the next service and where to buy the parts so that I could save money. He was punctual and friendly when he returned. I would use him again!

Installing a walkout window into our basement required us to disconnect and move the gas line running from our gas meter to our outdoor fire pit. Danny disconnected the line, then came out and repiped around the new window well when the window was completed. Danny did great work as always.

Danny did terrific work for us as always. He worked 2 long days to minimize the amount of time we were without heat and hot water. He worked closely with us to make sure the new gas line runs exactly where we need it to be, as we are in the process of finishing our basement. Danny is always very prompt in responding to requests for estimates, and in arriving for jobs. We have total confidence in his work, and use him every time we have a plumbing-related job.

VERY pleased with Dan. We thought for sure we would have to cut into the PVC pipe and replace a tee joint to replace the flange. Dan figured out how to cut the bad flange off and to reem out the pvc pipe used to hold it in place. Hard to explain but he basically saved the day.

I had two leaky shut off valves that started Thursday night; he came out the next morning on his way out to an already scheduled job and stopped the leaking. He did not charge me for the visit. Highly recommend.

Danny replaced our very old garbage disposal. There were some issues with the pipe configuration, and he very efficiently and throughly repaired and replaced that as well. There are so many good thing to list about Danny it's hard to choose just a few!! This is the second time we have used him; the first was to install a new sump pump. He is courteous, friendly, prompt, fair and an overall pleasure to do business with. We finally feel like we have a plumber that we can trust.....I won't use anyone else. A+!!!

We were extremely pleased. Our first contact was when we needed to fix a toilet that had developed a slow leak from tank to bowl so that it would intermittently run. The parts were non-standard, and Danny spent a considerable amount of his own time finding the manufacturer and getting the parts. He then did a nice job repairing the toilet. We also had him install a kitchen faucet, and later install a new toilet in another bathroom (that had developed the same problem as the first.) Danny was easy to contact, scheduled us for a day very soon after our call and was right on time. He was very professional. He clearly appeared to love his work, and to top it all off, he is extremely personable. We would not hesitate to hire him again and we give him the highest recommendation..

Everything has been wonderful - we're so glad we found him and we will always call him with our plumbing issues! He is very quick to call us back, very knowledgeable and friendly, and we feel he's very honest and trustworthy. Our house was built in 1890 and remodeled in 2003 and he has a lot of experience with historic or older homes, so that is very helpful. We really couldn't be happier with our experiences (well, no one likes having to call the plumber, but if you have to, he's the best!).

Danny was amazing! He was always prompt and professional. He even allowed me his Angi's List discount each time he came (which turned out to be 4 different days spread out over 2 months.) We started this project in July and finished in early September . He is used to dealing with older houses so none of the problems we ran into fazed him!! He dealt with the dryer vent problem and unhooked all the sinks on the first visit. He removed one toilet and then we had to wait to obtain another toilet because the one I had ordered was not going to fit into what we found out was a non-standard 10" rough in, Then because of delays with the new countertops that had to be installed before he could put in the new sinks and faucets, we had to wait more than a month before he could come finish that work. Danny was always in a good mood and very friendly. He does great work and I would highly recommend him.

The guy came out and spent almost 4-5 hours at the house clearing the drain, and even re-did the drain plumbing under the sink! For the amount of time he was at our house and amount of work he did and the price he charged, I considered him a bargain for plumbing.

As always Danny did a good job and was extremely nice and professional. He spent the extra time and effort to make sure that the older pipes that he was changing out the shutoff valve were ok and not damaged.

Danny is prompt, courteous and professional. Not only did he plumb my new kitchen range, but he talked to me about various options we had and the best way to proceed. He also called me after the service call was complete to say that he had called KitcheAid to ask about their preferred tubing to use for the water line and they didn't have a recommendation. He wanted to ask me where I purchase the stove so that he could call them as well to ask the question. Since the oven's water filter removes ions from the water, he didn't want to use copper tubing. However, he was worried about plastic tubing getting hot, so he ended up insulating it. Very thorough and very good.

I attempted to install a new faucet in our bathroom with my father-in-law but we were unable to finish the job because of sink pedestal blocking view from drain pipe. Called Danny Monday evening around 5 and he said he could probably get me in Wednesday afternoon but would call if he had time the next day. He had time and came by the very next day around 3. It was definitely a tough job because of the pedestal but Danny was able to install the new faucet without having to remove it. He also gave us an honest assessment of additional work that needed to be done on our bathroom. Was extremely nice and professional and did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend.

Let me sing the praises of Danny Phillips! I was quoted $75 to snake a slow flushing toilet. The price was on par or lower than other quotes. Other quotes immediately tried to soften me up to the idea of a new toilet. Not Mr. Phillips. He said during the estimate that he'd do everything he could to get the existing toilet working. As I had guests coming for the weekend he fit me right into his schedule the next day. He called and was right on time. Friendly and affable, he went right to work, and worked up a sweat snaking the toilet. That did not solve the problem. The problem, it turned out, was that calcium had built up just inside the hole in the toilet where the water, etc., egresses. He scaled off the build-up by hand and got the toilet working again. This extra work came at NO extra charge. (Recall the estimate was to snake the toilet.) He also told me how to treat the bowl with a solution to completely get rid of the mineral build-up in the bowl of the toilet. This I did the next day and now have a toilet like new. I RECOMMEND DANNY PHILLIPS WITHOUT HESITATION.

He gave me his best opinion, which did not include doing any repairs at this time. I appreciated his honesty.

It went well. Danny was here about 90 minutes. He took care of what I needed, cleaned up and left.
