The sump line was clogged with roots and water was backing up. The crew dug through the shrubbery, and cleared the line. While the repair was expensive, it was understandable for the amount of work that was done.

The town of Fishers must approve what companies you use to fix the sewer pipes to due high standard building code. I was having such a terrible time finding a company with good pricing, but had to hire someone to complete the work. They had started digging when the Fishers Building Inspector came to the house. He informed me that I could only hire a company from their approved list. He told me that A-1 was highly recommended by the City for this type of work due to their experience and knowledge of the process. When I contacted them, the owner was very compassionate about my mother's situation. She is a senior citizen on a fixed income and was not able to afford the $1,500 - $3,000 price some other companies estimated. The owner of A-1 was so kind to help us out by only charging us $600! We are so appreciative of his desire to take care of a senior citizen and not take advantage of her. When they came out to complete this major construction job, there was a lot of materials and labor that went into it. The process took the entire day. They dug very deep in the area where the new pipe was to be installed and connected to the City main line. They then placed layers of gravel and concrete around the area and pipe to ensure that the ground was stable and would not collapse in the future. The Building Inspector came back to inspect their work after they completed the job. The new pipe is 3 times bigger and much stronger! M/I Home Builders used a very small, inferior pipe that led to it collapsing. This fact makes me very unhappy. We are very happy with the work that A-1 did. They did a superb job. As of today, 8/15/14, this work, completed in 2008 is still functioning perfectly. Nobody else in our neighborhood has the high quality, commercial grade sewer line that we have thanks to A-1. I highly recommend this company.
