They did an exceptional job. They were prompt. They completed the job in 1 day. They left the house clean when they were done. The result was terrific and would hire them again and highly recommend them.

This went great. They did a super job. They were polite, clean, and neat. They had to be pretty good to please me. This is the second time I've used them and I've recommended them to my family. They clean up their mess and it was great.

The glass block window truly updates our bathroom and we are very pleased with the work. We plan to have another glass block window installed in our other full bathroom.

Very prompt in arriving for estimate. We felt $351 for a 20x24" window & 8" deep vent was a high price, seeing that people pay that much or less for larger basement windows.

He brought out a thicker block without even consulting me and tried to ask a man friend of mine to convince me to use it, instead of directing his comments to me, a single homeowner. He left an absolute mess outside my house. There were huge chunks of glass and globs of grout he just left. He didn't knock at the door to say goodbye, he just took off! I had spoken to him about paying $200. I had to have the inside walls remudded and ''L strips'' placed all around the window and it to be painted for the third time. This was an offer to split my $400.00 bill to do all of this. He left in his truck without answering me. I called him on his cell, and he begrudgingly agreed to send me a $200.00 check, which I received in a week. I would never recommend after 3 times of having to redo the some window. Buyer beware!

The installers were on time and very friendly. They completed the job without making a mess. However, they ripped the vinyl molding off the wood trim around the window outside on the bathroom window and did not replace it. They did not tell us this would happen. After calling them after the job, there was nothing they would do. They do a great job at glass block installation, but don't count on them to do anything else.

I HAD A-1 OUT ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS TO REPLACE 4 WINDOWS, THEY SAID WHAT THEY DID AND THEN DID IT. THEY WERE ON TIME, CLEANED UP NICELY, DIDN'T TRY TO SELL ME ON ANYTHING ELSE. NO HASSLE, GREAT WARRANTY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN WITHOUT HESITATION, BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE.

WE SCHEDULED AN ESTIMATE TO BE COMPLETED FOR REPLACING A WINDOW WITH GLASS BLOCK. THE ESTIMATOR ARRIVED ON TIME (EARLY, ACTUALLY) AND WAS VERY COMPLETE IN EXPLAINING HOW THE WORK WOULD BE COMPLETED. HE EXPLAINED THEIR PROCESS, AND THE TIME FRAME. HE ALSO SAID THEY WERE WILLING TO SCHEDULE THEIR WORK AROUND ANY OTHER CONTACTORS WE WOULD NEED TO USE FOR THE JOB. AT THIS POINT, WE HAVE NOT DECIDED TO PROCEED WITH THE WORK, BUT LIKELY WILL HAVE THEM COMPLETE THE JOB IN THE FUTURE.

CONTACTED A-1 GLASS BLOCK BY E-MAIL VIA THEIR WEBSITE AND RECEIVED NO RESPONSE. I DO NOT CARE TO USE A COMPANY THAT DOES NOT RESPOND TO REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION FROM CONSUMERS.

THE ESTIMATOR ARRIVED PROMPTLY, ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS AND WAS VERY COURTEOUS. THE ESTIMATE WAS CLEAR AND FOR A REASONABLE AMOUNT. WE WENT WITH ANOTHER COMPANY BECAUSE WE PREFERRED THE USE OF SILICON OVER GROUT IN THE GLASS BLOCK.

SO MUCH GOOD TO SAY, SO LITTLE SPACE. MICHELLE CAME TO GIVE ESTIMATE AND SHE WAS RUNNING LATE, BUT MADE SURE TO CALL. I COULDN'T BELIEVE THE ESTIMATE SHE GAVE ME (I THOUGHT IT WAS EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE), BUT SHE WAS QUICK TO TELL ME ABOUT THE COUPON IN THE SOURCE. SHE ALSO MADE SURE TO TELL ME THEY WERE FOUR WEEKS OUT ON BUILDING AND INSTALLING. I THOUGHT THAT WOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM BECAUSE WE HAD A WALL TO CORRECT WHICH HAD TO BE DONE FIRST. TO MY SURPRISE THEY CALLED ABOUT A WEEK LATER AND WANTED TO SCHEDULE INSTALLATION FOR THE FOLLOWING WEEK, UNFORTUNATELY THE WALL CORRECTION WAS NOT DONE. I HAD TO CALL HER BACK A FEW WEEKS LATER FOR INSTALLATION. I COULDN'T BE HERE THE DAY OF INSTALLATION, BUT WAS TOLD THEY WOULD BE HERE AROUND 9 OR 9:30, THEY ARRIVED AROUND 9:30. I WAS ALSO TOLD IT WOULD TAKE A DAY OR TWO, TOOK THEM LESS THEN 8 HRS. I COULDN'T BELIEVE THE WORK. EVERYTHING LOOKS BEAUTIFUL, LIKE THEY HAD BEEN HERE THE WHOLE TIME. THEY CLEANED EVERYTHING UP, NEVER KNEW ANYONE WAS HERE,

THE WINDOW IN MY BATHROOM WAS REMOVED AND THE MATERIAL HAULED AWAY. THE GLASS BLOCK WINDOW WAS INSTALLED WITH GREAT CARE. THE WHOLE JOB WAS WELL DONE.

THEY WERE ON-TIME BOTH FOR THE ESTIMATE AND THE INSTALLATION. IT TOOK A LITTLE WHILE (ABOUT 4 WEEKS) BETWEEN ESTIMATE AND INSTALLATION, BUT THIS WAS STATED UP-FRONT. THE INSTALLATION WAS FAST (ABOUT 4 HOURS) AND THE WINDOWS LOOK FANTASTIC. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS GLASS BLOCK WINDOWS INSTALLED.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE, MICHELLE, WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE WINDOWS CLEARLY. THE COMPANY RETURNED ALL MY PHONE CALLS VERY QUICKLY AND WERE PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. ESTIMATE WAS $780.

THIS IS A GOOD COMPANY. THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO AND DID IT RIGHT.

MEASURING JOB SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. THEY ALSO DIDN'T BRING A SAMPLE WINDOW.

ESTIMATOR WAS VERY LATE, BUT DID CALL TO LET US KNOW THAT SHE WOULD BE LATE. SHE ALSO OVER ESTIMATED THE SIZE OF OUR WINDOW, SO WHEN THE INSTALLERS CAME TO PUT IN THE GLASS BLOCKS, THEY WERE UNABLE TO DO THE JOB ON THAT DAY (THE TEMPLATE THEY HAD CREATED WAS TOO BIG). THEY RETURNED ABOUT 10 DAYS LATER AND COMPLETED THE JOB. THEY DID A NICE JOB AND DID A GOOD JOB ON THE CLEANUP. THE TIME BETWEEN THE ESTIMATE AND THE COMPLETION OF THE JOB WAS APPROXIMATELY 4 WEEKS. WE'RE VERY HAPPY WITH OUR GLASS BLOCK WINDOW AND WE NOW HAVE LIGHT IN OUR BATHROOM ALL OF THE TIME!

WE ARE COMPLETELY SATISFIED. YOU'D UNDERSTAND IF YOU SAW OUR ORIGINAL BASEMENT WINDOW. THERE HAVE BEEN NO LEAKS. THE VENT OPENING IS JUST WHAT WE NEEDED FOR OUR BASEMENT. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL IMPROVEMENT.
