Description of Work: James arrived promptly at the agreed upon time for quote meeting. We discussed blind options for 2 kitchen windows. James gave me the pro and con for each choice, made helpful suggestions and helped with color choice. It turned out that A+ Blinds was the least expensive of the 3 quotes I got; however, my choice was only partially based on price. I chose A+ because I liked the product and thought James would be good to work with. The blinds came in exactly 2 weeks as James had thought. James arrived promptly at the appointed time and did the installation himself. I was very pleased with the entire process. My blinds looks great and James was a pleasure to work with. I was pleasantly surprised that without being asked James was considerate in removing his shoes each time he came through my front door.

Shutters were expected to take 8 weeks to arrive, but came in sooner and were installed all in one day. Everything was all handled professionally and I am more than pleased with the final results!

He had a really good price. He was nice to talk to. He seemed to know his business really well. He is like one of those people that we would want to see come out to our house once a week. He gave us an Angie's list discount, which was nice.
Description of Work: James Valdez , the owner of A plus Blinds Shades Shutters came and gave me an estimate for woven wood shades for our family room's five windows. I am just about to call him to give him the order.

+ -1 moreJames was great! He questioned me before he came out about my tastes and likes and dislikes. He brought dozens of samples that I loved, but after giving me giving me honest advice and working with me until I was satisfied (not just making "safe" decisions), I got exactly what I wanted. He could easily have talked me into a much more expensive product, but he was more intent on finding out what I really wanted than making an expensive sale. He was punctual, easy to reach and diligent in doing the job correctly. The blinds came in a little earlier than expected and I had no qualms about giving him full access to the house when I was not home. I would definitely recommend A+ Blinds to anyone. I would use James again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: James worked with me to determine what I really wanted for window coverings, measured for and installed solar shades and faux wood blinds throughout my home.

Most impressive, however, was his ability to puzzle out the difficult installation. He succeeded where other contractors had failed. We were very satisfied with the overall experience and would recommend this company without hesitation.

Since it took more than a week to order the blinds, he installed temporary blinds while waiting for the order. Since we are located out of state, he worked with our property management company to schedule the work. We are satisfied with his work and his flexibility with working on the house while we are not there.
