They showed up 15 minutes early, which was fine. I'd rather they be early than late. We walked through the areas that needed to be cleaned. They started by informing me that most places charge more for yellow spots on carpet and that I should just pay them extra for what I feel they deserve. When they finished upstairs they came downstairs. The guy moved my coffee table from my living room into my dining room. In the process he scratched my hardwood floors. This wasn't noticeable until after we lifted the table off the floor to move it back after the area was dry that evening. When they finished the floors, I walked through and looked. I told the guy that it was hard to really tell because the carpet was wet and darker. When I went to pay, he told me it was cash or check only and went into this long speech about getting hacked and money possibly being stolen if he accepted credit cards. It would have been nice for him to tell me that when I arranged this appointment. No where on their page does it state this and he said he always tells people this. Nope sorry not this time. Last night my bedroom smelled awful! No amount of odoban can fix it. This morning after having the carpet completely dry, some spots never came out. My dying dog threw up on the carpet the night he died. That spot is still there. So I posted a review on the companies facebook page like he asked. They immediately responded and talked about the yellow stains. So I deleted my review, which I later regret doing. As I went to message the company instead I found out they blocked me from messaging them or responding to them. I called them instead. I asked if they were insured and proceeded to tell him about the scratches. He said 100% for sure that he didn't do it. I told him there was no way for him to possibly get the table in that room without sliding it on the floor because he would of had to move my dining room table back. He told me I was right there and would have heard it. I informed him that I was busy doing something at the table and had the radio on. I then told him about the stains on the carpet. He said they weren't there when he left and I supposedly told him it looked good. I said no I told you it was hard to tell because the carpet was wet. He agreed and said yes I did say that. I told him I have the pictures he if wanted to see them. He said again that the stain was gone. I replied with what do you think I had my other dog puke in the same spot. He said well I don't know. Seriously?? I sent the pictures and asked for him to come look for himself. He said just sent the pictures. He told me my carpets were really bad to start with and I should have seen how dirty the water was. Funny I just had them cleaned not even 2 months ago. As the previous reviewer posted, he is not returning phone calls now. As far as pricing goes, I paid $30 for my living room, $30 for my bedroom, hallway was free, and $30 for SEVEN stairs!! He asked if I wanted the other stairs done and I said yes and then he never did them.
Description of Work: I wanted my carpet in 2 rooms, the hallway and stairs cleaned.

While the owner was friendly, the carpet was not as clean as I had hoped on the stairs and in a corner where I desk sat normally. The next morning, the carpet was still damp, we turned up the heat and put on fans to attempt to accelerate the drying. I advised later that day (day 2) that the carpet was still damp, and was asked if there was a leak in the basement. The owner told me to let him know the status on day 3, which I did and he simply advised this couldn't be, the carpet always dries in 3-5 hours. Day 4 same thing, he had no intention to make right on the situation and kept alluding that I must have a leak. On this day, we also noticed a splatter across the ceiling in the basement that was not there before the carpet cleaning. He also refused to own this issue as well. After advising of the strong developing odor and continued wetness since day two, I contacted other cleaners and they refused to work on the carpet. I then asked the owner how he would like to resolve the issue or if he wanted our insurances to resolve the matter. He blocked me from contact and I haven't heard from him since. We called our insurance company who sent a recovery service team out and they called our carpet based on the amount of mildew odor and wetness. The carpet was out of the house in less than 40 minutes. The flooring was completely dry under the carpet and padding. We placed a stop order on our check and the owner still refuses to make contact or address the matter at any level. We are currently out $1025 for what should have been a $75 cleaning.
Description of Work: Small carpet area in my basement and a stairwell of less than 3 year old carpet to be cleaned. Advised that the carpet was looped (berber like) and that I had upgraded padding. Scheduling was awesome. Owner was friendly and even dropped the price by approximately $15 before he left from the initial quote.
