 + -1 moreI filed a claim with my home warranty company (2-10 home warranty) on Sunday morning. I was called promptly at 8 AM Monday to schedule the service. Due to my crazy schedule, we could not have the work done until Wednesday morning. I scheduled for the plumber to come out between 8 and 9:30. I received a call at 7:55 AM and he said he was on the way. He arrived at 8:10. After inspecting the crack, he also noticed that one of the joints was leaking, and quickly ran to the shop to pick up additional pipe. He returned quickly and replaced the entire pipe. He even had to cut the bottom of my cabinet a little to fit the slightly larger pipe into the basement. The work was done quickly, and he was leaving before 9:30. It looks great, functions the way it is supposed to, and the entire area was cleaned up beautifully. You would not even know that there was a problem. I can not say enough good things about this service. A+++
Description of Work: Fixed and replaced a leaking drain in under my kitchen sink where the pipe had split open.

They called within an hour after placing the claim with the warranty company. They got us on the schedule the next day. Arrived ON TIME (in addition to calling to let us know they were on the way). Michael was professional, courteous, efficient and highly skilled. I would call 3 Kings in the future even if there wasn't a home warranty involved.

 + 1 moreHot water tank was leaking gas. Called these guys to come and look at it under our home warranty. They were very professional and responsive. Looked out for the safety of those in our home by replacing the parts needed. This same issue happened previously, and they were able to contact the manufacturer and replaced additional parts then just the ones that were corroded to hopefully eliminate this issue. Highly recommend.

 + -1 moreWe discovered a leak in our basement bathroom late Saturday evening. We couldn't stop the leak on our own and had to shut the water off in the whole house and decided not to contact any service providers until the next day. Of course on Sunday there weren't any plumbers available and everyone we reached out to just had answering machines, except for Three Kings! First, they had a web site that allowed us to send them an email detailing our problem. Second, they contacted us prior to 0730 Monday morning to acknowledge our call and to schedule an appointment. Third, they arrived within the appointment window they said they would. Fourth, they were able to resolve our problem quickly and at a minimal cost. We'll DEFINITELY use them again!  + -1 moreI called for an appointment after I had problems with the water draining frommy first floor washing machine into the downstairs tub, as it had been plumbed for many years prior to my purchasing the house. There was overflow and water on the basement floor. They arrived at the time arranged and reviewed the situation. I explained that I would like the washer to drain directly into the sewer pipe rather than into the tub. and that I needed the drain on the tub redone. My son had attempted to fix that drain for me. The plumbers went to work and completed the work in a very timely manner. The charge was quite reasonable. The plumbers were polite.
Description of Work: The plumbers replumbed the washer and replaced the trap on the basement sink. They cleaned out the grease trap. They were very clear in what they were doing and how they were doing it.

He originally came out just for an estimate, and we ended up hiring him to do all the work. 3 Kings fixes things the proper way, and I'm confident things were done correctly. I will hire 3 Kings next time we need plumbing work done.
Description of Work: We bought a new home and the water softener salt water drain line was running into the sump pit. This is bad, because salt water will corrode the sump pumps. Michael from 3 Kings, properly re-ran the line into the sewage drain pipe. He also fixed a toilet that needed new hardware, and re-ran our sump pump drain line inside the foundation. It was ran improperly (up, down, back up) which was causing a loud thumping noise, in addition to making the pumps work harder. Michael corrected this issue as well.

 + 0 moreEverything went well. We found 3 Kings Plumbing on Angie's list. We called a couple of options and 3 Kings quoted us the job over the phone when they finally called us back. They were not the lowest price, but we felt they were the most trustworthy for doing this job. They came on time for their appointment. Did the job in a timely manner and there was no changes to the price. All has been well since, in other words we have had no problems with the gas line.
Description of Work: We were installing a new stove/range that is gas. We had an electric stove before. 3 Kings installed a new gas line.

 + 0 moreMichael has always been prompt and professional. He'd given us an estimate for the work during a previous appointment. He honored the quote and performed the work to our satisfaction. 3 Kings Plumbing has been our go-to plumber for the past 2 years. We moved to Indianapolis 2 1/2 years ago and purchased a homeowner's warranty. Every time there was a problem (and there were many), a different service company was sent. We had plumbing done through 3 different plumbers.
Description of Work: We had Michael perform annual maintenance on our tankless water heater (flush) and he also installed a ball valve in our basement. Our house was built in 1971 and has an unfinished basement, plus a crawl space. The original builder/contractor is unknown to us, but instead of placing the shut-off for the water in an accessible location, they placed it INSIDE THE CRAWL SPACE. This was probably done to save time and expenses but is entirely impractical and a complete hassle for we homeowners and anyone else doing work on plumbing, appliance installations, water softener repairs, etc. Michael extended the existing shut-off valve from inside the crawl space to outside the space. It's now located at the bottom of the stairs, with a lever that even a weak woman can handle.

As always, 3 Kings is courteous, prompt (on time when they say they will be there) and extremely nice. My garbage disposal works great and is much quieter than the old one I had. I will definitely continue to use 3 Kings Plumbing in the future!

 + 1 moreThis was such a fabulous experience. Michael is so professional, and yet he's friendly, easy to be around, and he cleaned up after he finished the job. His recommendations were spot on, and I'm certain no one else would have finished all that work in less time or for less money, and with such caring and craftsmanship. It felt like he had my best interest at heart - putting new valves at my level, showing me how to shut off the water, how to take care of the new water heater. Oh - and I really appreciate how Summer took my call. She really did ask the right questions to see whether I needed a plumber or a drain cleaner. I also want to mention that I needed new lighting in that creepy basement, and Michael gave me the name of an electrician he likes. The electrician came and put in the lighting, and he was great as well. Thanks again, 3 Kings Plumbing - you rock!
Description of Work: On an otherwise cheery day, I was surprised to find water sitting around my basement drain: the water wasn't going down, and it wasn't coming up, and I had no idea how it got there. Since I'm on both well and septic, I had a sinking feeling about big dollar plumbing bills in my near future. I decided to join Angie's List to read about competent plumbers. I called 3 King Plumbing, based on the reviews. Gotta say, it was one of my best decisions ever. When I called, Summer listened to me nervously tell my story and suggested that it might be a drain cleaning issue rather than a plumbing issue and that she could give me the name of someone really good for that, or that she could send out a plumber. I asked that she send someone out, since I also wanted an estimate for a new water heater and new kitchen sink faucet. She arranged for Michael to come out that day. Michael called to say he was running about 15 minutes early, and was it okay if he came then. When he got here, he was friendly and professional. He went straight to the basement and became my hero by making the water go away immediately when he pressed the floater in the sump pump. He told me the floater was set too high and he drew a diagram of the water flow to the drain. He also suggested the sumpline should be reworked. He then checked out the 20 year old water heater and asked me why I wanted it replaced. I told him I didn't want it to start leaking one day while I was out of town. He told me I should shut off my water if I'm gone for more than 2 days and then he showed me how to do it - easy, but no one else had ever shown me how to do that. He said I could continue to live with the water heater, or if I felt more comfortable getting a new one he could install one. He looked at the kitchen faucet and agreed that a new one would be best, along with reworking the water supply line. I thought about all this for a few days. I had had a recent estimate by another plumber for water heater and other work, and I liked Michael and his quotes far better than I liked the other plumber or his quotes. I called the office to schedule the work. I decided to go with all Michael's recommendations. In one day, he lowered the sump pump and changed the floater switch to a different type. He also changed the size of the sumpline and put it up high toward the ceiling so it's not in my face as I'm doing laundry. He also replaced the water heater with a Rheem, set it on bricks, and showed me how to drain it periodically. He also removed the old shut off valve, which I couldn't reach, and put it above the water heater where I could reach it!! He then reworked the kitchen supply line and installed a new shut off valve. Then he installed a new Delta faucet. And now I'm living happily ever after - a fabulous new kitchen faucet that has great water flow, and basement that's not nearly so creepy now!!!

 + -1 moreI contacted our home warranty company, as we just recently purchased this home and they selected 3 Kings Plumbing. Summer contacted me that day and scheduled our appointment for between 10 and 12. Around 9:20 Mike called to say he was running early and asked if it would be okay if he arrived between 9:30 and 9:45. He arrived in that window and went straight to work. He was very pleasant and professional. He was able to diagnosis the problem and had the appropriate tools and parts to repair it. He even caulked a gap he noticed at the top of our drain switch as a courtesy. When he was finished he showed me what he had done and explained how use the new diverter. I would highly recommend Mike and 3 Kings Plumbing.
Description of Work: The diverter on our shower was not functioning properly. While in shower mode there was still water coming from the tub faucet.

Description of Work: Our warranty company sent 3 Kings to help with an outside faucet/hose bib that would NOT turn on. Michael arrived and went to check the faucet which of course turned ON! UGH!! Anyway, he was very professional and checked the other outside faucet, checked the inside shut offs and found the shut off to the "non-working" faucet. Michael was very courtesy, knew his job well, and was very helpful/informative. They only charged us for the by out time which was cheaper than the warranty deductible!! We will use this company anytime we are in need of a plumbing co.

 + 0 moreResponse was excellent. They offered to come out the day I called, but I opted to wait until the next day due to a scheduling issue I had. The person on the phone stayed on the line with me a 1/2 hour talking me through how to shut off the water to the leaking water heater and to shut off the gas line. I had no experience with any of this. She was calm, professional, extremely patient and nice and very calming to me. I really appreciated that she hung on so long with me. The day of service, they arrived on time and worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend 3 Kings plumbers and will definitely use them again. I need to get a new kitchen faucet and plan to have them install it for me.
Description of Work: Replaced water heater that was leaking and 18 years old. Replaced washing machine hose that was frozen on and had to be filed off.

They showed up, as promised, the very next day. Presented what seemed to be a fair estimate of what they work job cost, I authorized the work to begin. The faucet switchover was completed smoothly and quickly and exactly according to the estimate.
Description of Work: 3 Kings Plumbing replaced three bathroom faucets--two in our master bath and one in our second bathroom.

Some of the simple things are the most impressive such as how Mike is always sure to put on shoe covers to protect my carpets and floors, this is the type of professional he is. Mike used a high tech camera to look inside my ceiling to attempt to detect where the water might have came from and what type of damage was inside the ceiling. He spent time inspecting the upstairs bathroom showing me items that needed attention or repair with the reasoning as to why. I had him replace a toilet while he was onsite because I was not interested in doing it myself and he was much more efficient at it then myself plus he caulked around the base which I would have never thought of to do. The only thing I hope Mike does is feature his company because I did learn he had a special/package deal where he provided the toilet with installation for a good price (at the time) and the toilet was better than what I had purchased at Menards. Either way, he will soon be replacing another toilet at my parents home and then possibly a water heater for me in the near future. You will not be disappointed with 3 kings Plumbing.
Description of Work: Michael came out and inspected a water leak issue in my kitchen that was due to the upstair bathroom. He also removed an old toilet with a new replacement toilet that I had already purchased. He then inspected a valve behind my fridge and inspected for leaks throughout the bathroom.

 + 0 moreFound water heater leaking Friday morning. Called 3 kings plumbing to set up a service call which was set for noon. I also requested defective toilet to be replaced. Plumber arrived on time. The old water heater was full of water at the bottom. THe old 40 gallon gas water heater and hall bath toilet were removed, and hauled away. A new 40 gallon gas water heater and toilet were installed. THe entire job took 2 and a half hours. No problems have been noted since installation of the new heater and toilet. This is the third time I have used the servcies of 3 kings plumbing. Work has always been up to snuff (no call backs), and they have always arrived on time and cleaned up when the job was done.
Description of Work: Replaced leaky water heater and defective toilet. Hauled old toilet and water heater away.
