Overall they helped us in a horrible situation and for that we are grateful, just wish they paid more attention to detail. Our fist experience with them was fantastic and that is why we called them again. If you need ceramic tile work done I highly recommend them, they are fantastic and do a really nice job. For more everyday handyman type work I would make sure you have a clear list of what you need done and make sure that before you pay them everything is complete.

Ultimately, the job was completed as anticipated. Problem arose involving the shower threshold. Instead of sloping inward toward the stall, it was initially sloped away from the stall... allowing water to flow under the shower door, and onto the bathroom floor. The new shower handle (controlling water flow) was installed with a 'safety' switch left on... preventing the water to be barely lukewarm. Contractor returned & turned off the switch, saying he was concerned about our safety from water being too hot.

Luis called me promptly after I bought the big deal and made an appointment to look at the job. He arrived on time and very efficiently went through what I wanted, what he thought might work best and we came to an agreement. Luis and his crew were busy, so we scheduled out about 6 weeks, which was fine with me. After he left, he provided me with a list of materials I needed to get, which turned out to be very accurate. He and his crew showed up on time the first day of the job and tore out the old shower and did the carpentry work for the new shower. The next day they concentrated on the pouring the custom floor pad and repaired an issue with the drain. The next two days were for tile installation. The final day was for clean up and installing the doors and plumbing fixtures. I am very happy with the result. Luis and his team were very prompt, worked hard, cleaned up each night and did excellent work. I plan on using them again for another shower project.

We got exactly what we paid for. Luis and his crew are very honest, reliable and great to work with. Luis came to quote our projects showed up on time, spent about an hour with us and we never felt rushed. He showed up the day of the project and started immediately. They always lay down floor coverings, even when you tell them they don't have to! We even bought 2 of the wrong tiles (didn't notice till after they were laid and grout was put in) Luis fixed them at no additional charge! His pricing is spot on and there was no need to negotiate. If you are looking for a honest service provider that doesn't throw ridiculous pricing at you- Luis is your guy!

It was okay. He was a really nice guy but I don't think the quality of the work completed was at a 100% professional level that I would have expected. It wasn't bad but I hired a professional because I knew I couldn't do a perfect job myself. Then, it was not perfect. He was a busy guy. He sent different teams of his own to do work and some of them did better work than others. The pricing was fair. He was pretty responsive. He was also pretty punctual. I would use them again depending on the job.

The company did an excellent job of replacing our ceramic tile shower. They gutted the existing shower and provided all-new materials, including wall board, ceramic tiles on walls and ceiling, and floor tiles. They also installed new fixtures (at an additional cost) and repaired drywall in the bathroom. The crew was very pleasant and tidy, and communication with the owner (Luis) was excellent. We will hire this company again for additional work in the future!

I contacted Luis in January and bought his deal for replacing an 80 sq ft shower. Well our shower was bigger, but he applied the special to our needs. He scheduled the start of the project for March 30th and we wondered whether that would be the date or it would get delayed. We were pleasantly surprised that Luiz was so accurate 7 weeks ahead! They carefully covered the floor from the front door through the house to the bathroom. They took care of hanging plastic dust barriers which were very effective. At the end of the first week, they left the dust barriers in place but removed all the floor protection, hand-wiped the floors and replaced all the furniture so we could enjoy the weekend. They re-layed the floor protection the following Monday and took it up on Friday, again. Luis and his crew were punctual, polite, and professional. While Luis would "do whatever we wanted", he was very helpful when it came to design issues and frequently pulled out his phone to show us pictures of what the 12 x 24 tile might look like if we set it a different way. He was able to show us different stages of projects he completed and was very adept at managing the unexpected. The rotted floor was an additional cost that was very reasonable and definitely needed. It was apparent he was thinking in advance when he re-built the walls as he reinforced areas we thought we might like a safety bar....and we hadn't thought that far into our future! The project was scheduled for 2 weeks but it took closer to 3 since rebuilding the floor wasn't part of the original plan and we had to re-order some more tile. All-in-all, we wished other contractors we've used in the past were as professional, cordial and considerate as he and his crew were.

Friendly, efficient and timely. Communication is excellent. Hard-working crew. Kept house very clean (left absolutely no mess afterwards).

Louis and his guys showed up on-time and did the work quickly. The end result is a great new custom shower that is both attractive and more functional than the old shower. They added a step/seat and a built-in niche to help make the shower easier to use. They ran into some issues when removing old tile as there was water damage behind the old tile in the walls and floor which added some cost to the job. It turned out that the original builder cut a few corners when building this shower. Louis pointed it out and made the improvements to make sure this new shower would never be a problem. We also decided to retile around the adjacent existing built-in bathtub to match the new shower and added all new fixtures to the bathtub to match the shower. The only down-side is that its messy work, they tried to keep the mess down and were careful to put plastic down where they walked but we still had dust, dirt etc. in the house which my wife wasn't real happy with. However, she now has a beautiful new bathroom with a custom shower and loves it. She said the new shower is "the bomb" I appreciated that the work was done on-time (they showed up on Saturday to stay on schedule) the price was fair and now our master suite has had a significant upgrade.

Purchased deal on 12/30/2014 for tub/shower replacement. Had an extremely difficult time reaching the contractor. Would send email message to contact to set up dates to do work but when called did not answer phone and had not answering machine or voice mail so could not leave a message. Leaving a message through the Angies's List message center is very difficult to get something set up! Finally called back and set up a time to come to house but did not show. Reschedule but did not show, when called said was running late and would be there in 20 minutes, did not show. Done with dealing with this and cancelled deal.

Have not had work done yet. I have been put on the schedule in March. Luis told me during the estimate that the job would not be started until March. I was fine with that, since I am in no hurry and it gave me time to tile shop. Looking forward to the completion of the new shower.

Luis is fantastic. I had no real idea of what I wanted, but Luis walked me through the entire process and gave me an excellent quote that he stuck to even though I changed my mind several times along the way. He is very meticulous and didn't hesitate to make fixes where I had concerns. I absolutely love my new kitchen and bath and feel like I got a great deal for my money!p

Luis and his crew were always professional and courteous. Luis handled everything that came along with care and concern. Every job was done with excellence and beyond my satisfaction.

Prior to the work, there were several areas that would leak water whenever it rained and was contributing to the spread of the light mold on the walls. Luis and his crew did a great job cleaning up, sealing cracks, and re-applying paint. He was very knowledgeable about the situation and explained how to best waterproof the basement. We didn't have significant water damage, just enough to be a problem. He gave us helpful tips about what to do outside to help with the water problems. This company works HARD. It was a very hot day while they worked and the basement wasn't exactly pleasant to be in. They never complained or slowed down at all. They were wonderful to work with and did a great job. Since they finished their work and we followed the tips given to us, we haven't had any water in our basement. I'm beyond happy with this company and I always suggest them to anyone with a project. I will definitely use them again for future projects. I can't emphasize how helpful Luis is and how nice his crew is!!

Luis, the owner, is VERY helpful. We gave him a rough idea of what we wanted our house to look like on paper and he brought it to life. He was great on suggesting details we would have never thought of. Although we paid for materials, he was able to point us where to get the best deal for what we wanted. His labor rates were more than reasonable and his work was beautiful. He is very meticulous and his crew is all very nice. They were VERY good about cleaning up every day. The project did take a few weeks to complete but we were not in a rush and we did have to wait on some materials to come available. We have received nothing but praise from our neighbors about how great our house looks and I have even noticed people driving by slow to admire the work. Luis and is crew are truly talented and I always suggest him when someone has a project. This is not the first job he has done for me and it will not be the last.
