They were wonderful, they are not on time but everyone were excellent.

Installed a front door. The opening was not the standard 80" so the existing opening had to be enlarged. Could not be happier with the results.

We really enjoyed working with Dave on this project. He always let us know what was going on and when someone was going to be there. Roberto was the guy doing the work. He was a hard worker and did a very nice job. They did not rush, they took their time and the project was completed on time. They removed an old stand up shower and turned it into a closet. They replaced 2 toilets, sinks, cabinets and faucets in 2 bathrooms. The new cabinet was raised and he patched in the flooring. It looks like it was there all along. They used 2 guys for the demo and were completely done in 4 days. Very pleased!

I wanted so badly for this to go differently :( I called last week and spoke with the owner (David Price). He was very friendly, and seemed confident that he could complete my list of tasks. He explained that he was not at his office, but said that he would text me a short synopsis of our conversation, and if it was correct, would I please respond back to confirm. I agreed and thought this was a smart way to keep up with new clients' work requests! I explained to him before our call ended that I was looking to have someone come out to provide an estimate, and he said he was pretty sure that my request of a visit on Monday would work, but he needed to get back to his calendar to confirm. We ended the call with him saying that he would call me back in the evening to further discuss my needs (as well as their coupons that I found here on Angie's List). He never called me back. I figured his day may have run longer than expected, so I didn't get worked up over it. But when I hadn't heard from him by lunchtime the next day, I shot him another text, saying that I was still very interested in discussing my projects with him. Nothing. I gave it one last shot and called around 4pm, once again expressing my interest in working with him. And once again, nothing, even 5 days after our initial conversation. I've moved on to another company (Handyman Connection, if it helps anyone else), and in one call, I have an appointment for the estimate that I was looking for... David was very polite on the phone, but his communication skills are sorely lacking. As I am in need of moving forward on my project very quickly, I do not have the time (nor the inclination) to chase him around and beg him to let me hire him. I'm sure he would have done a beautiful job (he does have a ton of glowing reviews), but I need someone far more dependable in the communication department. (UPDATE) David reached out to me last night (the 18th - 6 days after our initial conversation) to say that he was available to come by to give me an estimate. I explained that, since I had not heard from him after multiple attempts at contacting him, I had no choice but to move on to another company. He said that he understood, but was willing to step in if my project ended up delayed in any way. I appreciated his professionalism, but it was just too late for my needs.

I purchased the service for $27.65 for up to 2 hours of Handyman Service discounted from $79.00. The order date was September 10, 2017. When I initially called to schedule service the agent I spoke to didn’t think the medicine chest could be put into the wall, would take more than two hours and I had to have every piece of material needed at the time of the handyman’s arrival or the job couldn’t be completed. I understood that it might take more than two hours and would be an additional price. When I asked what additional products I needed I was told a 2x4. I set up the appointment. The day the handyman was scheduled I received a call telling me the handyman was needed elsewhere on a job more urgent than mine and that the Company was really losing money on the offer I had purchased from Angie’s List. I figure I’m out the &27.65 and probably better off anyway. The medicine chest has been hung and recessed into the wall without fanfare by a contractor that was here working for us on another job.

Terrible company. And terrible way to do business. My painter actually gave me this company’s contact information. Left messages but no call back. I should have read all the Bad reviews for this company. They do not return calls for appointments and do not show up for quote appointments.

Arrived early, very friendly and professional. Installed the fans and cleaned up. Only took 2 1/2 hours. I would hire again in a heartbeat!

I live in an older home & have a hanging hoop shower curtain rod that broke and fell down. I called Well Done on a Sunday afternoon and talked to David Price (the owner) and was able to get someone scheduled to come out the very next day! I was pleased to be able to get in touch with the company on a Sunday and to have such a quick turnaround time with an appointment. The handyman showed up right on time, assessed the issue, ran out for some supplies, and fixed my shower curtain rod promptly - couldn't be happier. Discounted hourly rate for AL members isn't a bad perk, either.

We were very happy with Well Done's responsiveness and overall professionalism. They were prompt to get out for the estimate and we were very impressed with their overall professionalism. They were very honest on a few of the project items we asked about, and we greatly appreciated it. We ended up holding off and going with a plumber for the toilet, but I will definitely be considering them for the future and would strongly recommend them.

I was contacted and told that the company is no longer doing weather proofing for doors. Since I have recently had my house exterior painted, the window caulking part of the service wasn't really needed and was not scheduled. I was given an apology but not a refund.

They were awesome! Punctual, friendly, professional and worked quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality. Will definitely use again!

The work was done quickly and well.

I had Well Done Handyman out to replace an exterior door, install 2 new storm doors and realign 3 interior doors. David promptly responded to my request and visited my house for an estimate. Was able to schedule the work within a few days. Another job ran long and delayed my work but David was good to call and kept me informed. The work took nearly 3 days over a couple of weeks. Well Done was good to work with my schedule. All exterior doors installed function well. The new exterior door required some additional carpentry framing. The interior doors did not close well and/or stuck. The carpenter successfully corrected the issues with the interior doors. Will definitely use Well Done in the future,

All work was performed to satisfaction. The second project some tile fell off and Mr Price took care of it standing behind the work performed by his workers. Mr Price is very professional and great to work with, stopping by to check on employees and where they are at with there job. I would recommend his company and would definitely use the company again.

We are very satisfied with the work. The guys are very professional, punctual and detail-oriented. Communication was also excellent during all stages of the work.

The owner seemed like a really nice guy. He told me he’d send a man around sometime on Thursday to measure the window that needs to be replaced and I planned my day so that I wouldn’t be more than 10 minutes away from home when I got the “I’m on my way” call. I was just standing up from breakfast at a restaurant 5 minutes away when I got a call saying he was at the house. I told him I’d be there in 5 and I was but he’d left. When I called he told me he had scheduled me for 8 (not True, I remember because I was mildly annoyed that I would have to hang around the neighborhood all day) and that he had a business to run. Maybe he got up on the wrong side of the bed but he was rude and surly.

UPDATE: January 2018 - After the events in November occurred, this company contacted me and offered to correct the situation. They did the right thing and came through. I understand that mistakes happen and am grateful the work was done. They didn't have to "make it right" in the end, but they did. I have corrected the original score to reflect the work. I DO NOT recommend hiring this company. The same day I purchased the deal, I called and asked to get on the schedule because I wanted the work done before Thanksgiving (3 weeks away). It took about a week for him to call me back. When we connected, I sent him pictures of the drywall repair. In fairness to him, the actual size was 24" by 12", so I knew that I'd have to pay more. When we talked on the phone, I explained the importance of the repair timing because we just found out we were hosting Thanksgiving. He said he could get it done by Thanksgiving. I didn't find him very professional in his descriptions and he told me that the actual cost of the service was going to be an additional $462 over the ~$150 I already paid. I didn't like the price and I kind of felt like he was taking advantage of the situation. But, I didn't have many other choices. I agreed as long as he could get the work done before Thanksgiving. He said, "sure, no problem" and we scheduled the repair for the Thursday before Thanksgiving, 7 days out. The day before (Wednesday), he called to say that he had to shift his schedule due to weather so they could finish a large job they were wrapping up. I said that was tough on my side because I had planned my work schedule around that Thursday afternoon and would have to ask for another 4 hours vacation. I was booked solid with meetings. He said they would figure it out and someone would be out as originally scheduled on Thursday. Guess what...no one showed up or called. To this day (12/6), the repair hasn't been done and no one has called to ask about it. I'm going to be asking Angie's List for a refund of the prepaid service.

Very unprofessional operation. Rescheduling me for this week was very open with choices of time slots. After a no-show this morning, I called and was informed they had a big job that was still ongoing. First of all, what was wrong with an advanced phone call? I was told a text was sent to me. My landline does not have texting capability. So, there should have been an alert that the text was not delivered. The person on the phone was very unprofessional and said that I needed to call Angie's List to get a refund. What a waste of time. This seems to be a new operation trying to get its foot in the door of entrepreneurship. Good customer service along with good business practices are necessary.

Excellent repair in the alotted time.

AFTER I purchased it, I called to ask more about the door sealing - as that was my main reason for buying the deal. Unfortunately, the deal did not include door-sweeps, my main need. The owner was nice enough to offer to put them on (for an additional price), if I go buy them. But I was looking for a company to do it all (look at the doors, go buy what is needed, and install it). So I tackled my door sweep issue outside of this deal. Well Done Handyman also told me that they put on the same weather stripping as I can purchase at any local hardware store - nothing custom. So I just bought the material and did that myself as it was so easy - and I had an immediate need. SO - I was down to just the window weatherization - so THAT is what they came out to do. The person was on-time, and it went fine. The deal was just not what I thought it was - I should have looked into it before I bought it.

We were very satisfied with the work. The only concern was they did not bring their own paint brushes or paint clean-up supplies. Special kudos to Paul and Roberto.

Excellent. They came when they said they would, worked hard, got the job done.
