Service provider initially gave excuse that they were busy due to the deal they were offering having a high take-rate from the website. Service provider then decided to schedule service, but then reneged and canceled the deal saying Angie's List would refund my money. Angie's List took care of the refund, but their behavior is unacceptable.

Description of Work: Well Done Handyman replaced rotted wood siding on my garage. The work was started on time and well done.

Description of Work: Reliable. Efficient. Tidy. They repaired a roof leak, water-damaged interior wall and ceiling. Excellent communication throughout process. Very pleased with outcome. Would recommend without reservation.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with handyman who came out (Paul) and felt he did good work. However, Scheduling my job was an aggravating experience. Twice they put me on their schedule and then cancelled AFTER the time frame they were suppose to arrive at my home. I hired them through an Angie's List "Big Deal" promo and the owner made it apparent to me that my "discounted" job was not as important to him as his full-price paying customer's projects. This is not the way to gain new business and as a realtor I could have been a good source of referral for them.

Description of Work: Work was not completed. We cancelled drywall job due to lack of communication with "fine print" details. We were instructed that the three hours we paid for was for one day and that our job would take multiple days. That would be fine but we paid for three hours, I did not expect to be charged for anything more until three hours were used. We were also told when workman showed up to the job we were suppose to have drywall mud according to the fine print. Why would the person calling to schedule not tell us this and also specify the type and quantity of mud needed. Nobody had even seen the job or asked any questions about the job prior. It took many attempts to get this job scheduled but was told by David that he was not receiving our my e-mail due to Angie's list updating the website. I had provided my number and my wife's number for them to call. We had a tentative date to start the job in mid May, but again no communication. We spoke with David and cancelled the job. I would like a full refund.

Description of Work: Just comments. The service guy was not focus on the job at hand. He told me that there is another pending bathroom work he has to go to. After 20 minutes into my project he wanted to split. Seems like he wanted to create a job on the side and get a separate pay. Calling the owner of this Well Done Handyman was impossible. The husband who answered the phone and finally introduced himself as a minister was rude. They should have a separate phone number for business and their ministry.
