Well Done Handyman & Home Renovations

While it took longer than expected, we are thrilled with the final result. Tyler did a fabulous job. Well done handyman has done a couple of other jobs for us now too, and we are planning to engage their services again in 2016.

The original service was scheduled for December 9. I am a new homeowner to the area and needed a handyman to do some odds and ends. This was the first service I purchased through Angie's list, which I joined because previous experiences had not gone well and I was having trouble finding reliable, quality work for home improvements. The handyman came late, he left for lunch for nearly an hour after the service was started and left the job early. I was not home when the work was finished, but the worker sent me a text and left me a written receipt acknowledging that all work had been completed. However, shelves were not properly adhered to the walls, hardware was left off cabinets (that I reminded him needed to be finished) and nails were popped causing dry wall to crumble where a set of shelves were installed. When I contacted the handyman re: my concerns, he quickly responded and had an explanation for each incomplete task. In other words, he clearly knew what was left undone but presented the work as complete. He agreed to make it right. At that point in time I contacted the company. They did not apologize but did make arrangements for the services to be completed correctly with the same worker. He reported on time to the next appointment. He asked if he could completely re-hang a set of shelves because they were installed without the proper equipment. This was concerning because he knowingly hung them incorrectly yet presented them as finished the first time. Part of the second call was to patch the dry wall where the nails popped, I had made arrangements with the company that he would bring the required supplies. He came without the required supplies (spackle) and had to go to Home Depot to get the materials. This extended the job an extra hour than it needed to be. I was satisfied with the work once all was said and done, but I was not satisfied with how long it took to get to this point. I was also disappointed in the customer service of the company. I will not use them again.

All things considered, they did a good job.

Their work was virtually flawless. They took great care to leave no damage, both inside and out.

We were very satisfied with this company's work and price. ?They cleaned our windows and did numerous other work around our house (installed a dog door, repaired wood trim on house, replaced boards on dock, replaced rotten trim on deck railing, etc.) ?They were professional, punctual, and did very good work at a reasonable price.039

Well Done was excellent about scheduling, keeping in contact, and Tyler was on time and kept detailed time of start and stop times. I had a list for him and he was not afraid to do anyting I requested. Tyler even got up in the attic to install a support for the new fan. I felt the special was a great price so I scheduled a 2nd day at their regular price.

Zack arrived right on time with his ladder. He removed the light fixture and I explained to him that I wanted the light and fan on separate switches. He completed the process and was very friendly and professional. Very neat!!!

It went great! They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves.

As the name indicates, WELL DONE INDEED! I was given an arrival time of approximately 10:00 AM, and Zack showed up at 9:50. I had several projects ready for him, including a fluorescent light installation in the garage, 2 ceiling fan installations, and shelving installation in the laundry room. He did a fantastic job on the lights/ceiling fans, and when it came to my office ceiling fan, I originally had a light dimmer set up. Well, once the ceiling fan was installed, the dimmer was causing the fan to run loud. Zack knew exactly what the problem was and was able to install a regular switch that eliminated the excess noise. Unfortunately, due to an emergency appointment, I had to cut his visit short before he was able to install the shelving completely. This was on me, and not a reflection on Zack..........he was speedy and professional the entire time he was here. So, in a nutshell, "Well Done" is aptly named, and I fully recommend that Angie's List customers utilize them for any variety of random home projects as they appear to be able to handle just about anything. It is my pleasure to write this and give them an A+ rating. THANKS AGAIN!!!

Zack was great. He removed the old, heavy 1960's lighting and installed new lighting in our kitchen. He also repaired the drywall. We would recommend Zack and use this service in the future.

They did a great job. Dave was there a good part of the day and worked the entire time. The windows looked great and Dave cleaned up after he was finished. Overall it was a great experience with both the Big Deal and Well Done.

David did a great job of cleaning our windows. They sparkled after he had washed them. He was very careful in moving furniture out of the way and placing it back when he had finished. Highly recommend him for the professional job he did.

Very professional. The boss (David Price) was busy and promised to sneak me in and he did. Called me to inform their timing, their man arrived on time, provided pictures before and after the work, cleaned up after the work, nice and neat. They provided quality work and great level of professionalism. Thank you so much.

Last year we had mice in the house, the exterminator told us to chalk the holes along the foundation base, that was what this company did so, they knew what they were doing, and did a very good job, we hope this year we will not have any mice get into the house. They also said that they will come back to give several other jobs in the house an estimate, but they have not done so yet.

Fine. I am happier knowing that my hot water heater can be removed/replaced without having to move my washer and dryer. Thanks.

e These and other items were accomplished within the two hour period, I was really impressed! Zach performed the work and was very professional and obviously very knowledgeable. There was an issue with the outside faucet and they were on it immediately. Impressed again considering I had only invested $59. I will definitely use them again.

Could not ask for better service at any level at any price.

HE TURNED THE WATER OFF. TOOK OFF THE SPICKET. REPLACED THE GUTS OF THE SPICKET. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND IT DIDN'T TAKE HIM LONG. HE EXPLAINED THE PROCEDURE BEFORE HE GOT STARTED SO THAT WE WOULD UNDERSTAND WHAT THE PROCEDURE CONSISTED OF.

I bought the big deal because I knew I had a problem with a small amount of water damage near my back door. It was my plan that the two hours would cover the diagnosis so that I knew how big the problem was. They showed up on time, was able to identify the source of the damage and accurately gauged the size of the problem and effort to resolve it fully in a matter of about 30 minutes. We agreed to 3 additional hours beyond the 2 purchased to seal the leak in the door and repair the floor. They completed the small project on time with work done exactly as planned. They pointed out where and how the leak was occurring and what had happened to allow the leak. They were very knowledgeable and professional, keeping me informed every step of the way and what to watch for and do in the future.
