He had a replacement part with him and fixed it quickly, under a half hour. He even arrived a few minutes early! Great job.

Description of Work: The oven computer for my gas range had to be replaced. Roger came on time, checked what was needed, ordered the part, returned 2 days later with the new computer. Although the new part worked, the numbers did not register so he ordered another. I was able to use the oven in the meantime. He came back with the new part, installed it and the oven is working better than it ever has since we moved into our home 4 years ago..

+ -1 moreRoger arrived early which was a pleasant surprise. He is a very, very nice person. He got right to work and finished promptly. He was very informative and professional. He told me at the beginning within a $5.00 range how much it would cost, and it ended up being less than that, which has NEVER happened before. I will definitely call Roger again if I need any kind of service and I would recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: Roger serviced my oven. He replaced the hot surface ignitor and checked the oven calibration. He gave me an Angie's List discount and didn't charge for checking the calibration, so the bill actually ended up being less than he had told me.

+ -1 moreI spent $50 on that work. The gentleman that did the work owns the company and I thought he did well. He came out promptly, waited for me to get home because I had a long drive. He took care of business and I thought that the price was fair and he came to the house to fix it.

He was very responsive to my call; and even though it was a very busy time for him, I was willing to wait a few days to get an "A" rated company. It was worth the wait!! He was very good at what he does and he saved me from needing to buy a new refrigerator. He also guaranteed his work for 1 year. I want to recomment him to anyone needing his repair skills.

+ -1 moreOverall, I was very pleased with Roger. I would recommend him highly and would not hesitate to call him again.
Description of Work: I made an appointment with Roger to look at our dryer which was not heating. He arrived promptly and went to work. He took the back off and replaced a couple of wires. He noticed that our venting pipe was cracked due to overheating which was due to the venting system being blocked. Since we are in a condo, this is a service we will have to get our association to do. Since he was already there, we asked him to look at our hot water heater which has been losing its flame almost daily. Roger took off the plate and cleaned the thermocouple and gave the screen a good cleaning. He said the screen was dirty due to the lint that wasn't being properly removed from our dryer. When he left, the hot water heater seemed to be working fine. He said he would come back to make sure the dryer worked after our vents were cleaned. Since I am not a mechanically-minded person, I cannot recall the more technical language Roger used. However, Roger is clearly extemely knowledgable and communicates well. His charge was very reasonable and I would recommend him highly.

Description of Work: My renters called to make a service call and Roger showed up within an hour of the phone call. The part that he originally thought was wrong with my frig would have cost 250.00. In doing further checking the part was the wrong one and the correct one was $100.00 less. He got my renters up and going within a short time. I took advantage of the $10.00 coupon and save a few more dollars.

+ -1 moreExcellent overall. I called Roger's Appliance Repair and spoke directly to Roger, not a voicemail or answering service. He was polite and cheerful. He arrived on time for the scheduled appointment and was professional, respectful and explained the cause of problems. He had the part needed for the washing machine and the dishwasher needed a minor adjustment to the initial installation (which was done by someone else). I have always dreaded calling a repair man, but not anymore. I believe Roger is an honest and knowledgeable individual. I recommend him without any reservations. It is good to know people like Roger still exist.

+ -1 moreMy washer and dryer are older models and were in great need of servicing. They both worked, but not well. As Roger looked at the machines he told me the dryer would be an easy repair and would be about $115.00 with labor. He looked at the washer and said that it would be quite expensive to repair. He said he would be glad to fix it, but a new one would just be a couple of hundred more. We opted not to repair the washer. He repaired the dryer and called me in for a test run. It still didn't work right. He laughed and said he needed to go into town for some parts and asked if that would be okay. I said sure. He bought more parts and repaired the dryer which works great. All of his work is guaranteed for 1 year. He was very polite and considerate. I will have him work on all of my large appliances.

The problem is fixed and he explained it and what he had done. I felt I was treated fairly and will gladly be calling him for future problems.

+ -1 moreI am a person who knows real quality type Servicemen when I see them. This man is just that sort of person. He is kind, intelligent and got the job done right. This time he had to travel out of his way a good 15 or so minutes in order to get the part he needed to help me. He did this without complaint and repaired my dryer. The unit is working perfectly and I recommend this man to anyone who really wants to get their appliances fixed.
Description of Work: My dryer wasn t properly heating and he came out and diagnosed a problem within the igniter switch. He repaired it by installing a new one and cleaned up after he finished.

+ -1 moreRoger showed up on time for his 8 AM appointment. He was polite, serious and professional. After evaluating the broken washing machine inherited from the previous owner, he advised it would cost at least $500 to get parts and make repairs, and recommended installing another machine we had in the garage. He became more relaxed and humorous as the service call progressed, but remained professional. He had to leave to purchase some parts needed to wire and install the vent hood correctly, but did not charge for the time spent on the errand. In fact, I think he should have probably charged more for the 2.5 hours he spent working on my projects. He also does heating and air conditioning work, and I will certainly call him first if I ever need help with that! He patiently explained anything I had questions about, and I felt he was more than honest and painstaking in his work.
Description of Work: Roger removed an unrepairable Maytag Neptune washer from my basement to the curb, moved another washing machine from the garage to the basement, hooked it up and made certain it was operating correctly. He then installed a new vent hood in the kitchen.
