Hobart Norge Village

The current owner of this place is rude and does not want to own up to his problems. I bought a beautiful gown for a family wedding, and I took it to this cleaners, Who I used all of the time, I was given the ticket as to when to pick it up. I waited a day after it was supposed to be in, went to get it, and the dress wasnt there. I went in a few days later, and still no dress. A few days after that my husband and I went in and, surprise, NO DRESS. We asked the lady at the counter if she could call the owner and see what was going on. She said he was in India, would eb gone for 6 weeks, and couldnt be reached. We asked her to get ahold of whomever was in charge,a nd she tried to tell us nobody was. My husband asked her who they were to call in case of an emergency,a nd she said "the owners brother" We asked her to call him. She did and left a message. The brother called me later that evening, and I asked him what happened to my dress, he had no clue. I told him I wanted a refund, and he laughed. I told him I would take him to small calins, and he laughed again saying I would be wasting my money. After I told him I was serious, he said he would have his brother call me when he got home from India whcih wa sooner than the emplyee told me. A few days later, the owner called. My dress is nowhere to be found. I told him I wanted a refund, and he told me he would give me $100 fo the dress. I told him that was a $300 dress! He told me no way, the dress was probably old, (he never saw the dress) I told him it was brand new, and he then said he would give me $150..after going back and forth, We settled on $275. If this situation would ahve been handled better, Iw oudl have gone back and used them for other items, but the unprofessionalism is ridiculous!!
