Hayes Roofing

Was done well. After I called for estimate, that was handled quickly and then work was scheduled promptly after I signed the agreement. Very good!

The crew was professional and courteous. Owner was on site. I would definitely hire them again!

I contacted Hayes and told them what had occurred and the receptionist said that within a week someone would come out and inspect the roof to give me a quote. After waiting about two weeks, I called Hayes back and was told Jeff had done the inspection a few days prior to my call. Jeff spoke to me, sounding very overwhelmed, that he had looked at the roof but did not actually go on my roof (my house has many roof lines as it is a contemporary style home). He said that since one area had lose shingles, likely the whole slope had to be replaced for approximately $2400 and I should definitely not bill my insurance since my deductible was $1000. I questioned how he could determine the quote without actually getting on the roof but he said he'd seen enough of these types to know. I requested the quote in writing so I could get the work done. After weeks of calling Hayes back and leaving Jeff numerous messages, I reached him once where he promised to have the quote to me over the Thanksgiving weekend (he was so busy with the storm damage that he had to do work over the holiday). Unfortunately, the quote still never came and I never heard from Hayes or Jeff again. I tried calling a few more times but again no response. I ended up calling a competitor and they came the next day, showed me pictures of my roof which had lose shingles in many other parts, and gave me a quote within days. I realize that Hayes may not think $2400 is worth the work but such bad customer service is unacceptable. I would never recommend Hayes but would encourage everyone to go to Roger's Roofing where they take pride in all Angie's list requires.

Old stripped and new on in one day

Everyrhing was handled professionally. They arrived on time and finished a professional job as promised.

Everything was wonderful. They got here early in the morning and finished the job by 4 pm in the afternoon. They redid the bends, cuts outs and put all new aluminum around. They cleaned up after themselves and I got the best job for the best price. I would use them again in the future.
