Description of Work: Called Steve Probst on April 10th and left message. He got back with via phone on April 19th and came out on April 20th to do an estimate for "handyman" work. I needed a basement bedroom (small) paneled and some carpet laid down, plus a hand rail put on the stairs leading down into the basement. It all started out odd when this guy shows up in a white dress shirt, tie, dress slacks, shoes, etc. and driving a very nice car. Now, mind you, I don't mind someone looking professional, but never have I ever seen a "handyman" show up dressed to the nines! During the tour of the basement, he tried to talk me out of paneling the bedroom. He told me to just lay carpet in the main room of the basement and close the door on the bedroom or use it as a ultility room. Mind you, we are fixing the house up to sell, and these are some things our realtor wanted us to finish to make the house more appealing to a family. Anyway, after I said I wanted to go ahead with paneling the bedroom, Steve asked me what type of "budget" I had to work with and if I had any idea how much all this was going to cost. To me, these are "red flags" signaling that I am about to get the shaft! Steve took down my email address and promised he would have an estimate to me by that evening. Well, that was 4 days ago and I have not heard back from Steve. I figured he doesn't want to do the job or thinks it is not going to pay off. For someone who looked like they cared about professionalism (dress to kill) certainly has not shown any to me as yet. PS. Nevermind to bother with an estimate now Steve. I got another handyman (who dresses like one and drives a truck) to give an estimate and is doing the job.

CPR Home Services was extremely dependable. The man did exactly what he said he was going to do. He was prompt and professional. I don't have a single complaint about him. He is very reliable. A lot of places you call and they don't call back or it takes a long time. This is not the case with CPR Home Services. They are very responsive.
Description of Work: CPR Home Services fixed a couple windows and a fence with a gate in our yard.

I was extremely pleased with the quality of work and responsiveness. The $500 price included a $267 faucet which he received at a substantial discount through the supplier. He was also very honest with the work the needed to be done vs did not need to be done. He found inexpensive repairs for some items which saved some significant money.
Description of Work: He removed and replaced a faulty kitchen faucet, mounted and rewired accent lighting on deck, resolved electrical issues with deck, repaired loose floor boards on deck, fixed hinges on broken cabinet doors and resolved electrical problem with canned ceiling lighting. He provided me with several catalogs of faucets to choose a new faucet from and provided me with prices for each. I chose a mor expensive faucet ($267) and he was able to get it at a discount price from the supplier.
