Rogers Roofing

The salesman was excellent. They stated their goal is OUTSTANDING customer service. That is a lie. They said it would take 1 day to do the roof. It took 5 days (excluding Sunday) and that was after I called them every morning and taking off work. They kept promising me that they would come out to finish the project. The salesman stated they could do the roof of the gazebo. They couldn't. Also on the 5th day, they completed the job but left remaining boxes and material on the lawn. After paying close to $30,000, this is unacceptable.

I think they did an impeccable work, but I do have two problems with them , The 1st one is that I referred my neighbor, and they did not gave a referral bonus for that. the 2nd one is that The satellite dish blew off the roof. Mr rogers blew that off too.

It is my wholehearted opinion this company did not stand behind (contractual) commitment for 100% customer satisfaction. Messy caulk. Unexpectedly removed decorative wood trim without discussion or notification, and failed to replace/repair when asked. Attempted to resolve multiple times with production manager but he failed respond to our final email and voicemail.

The price was good, it was better than all the others.

It's like a family business-- I've never had anyone that provided such good services. I had leaks coming into my bedroom from the attack due to bad winds blowing off shingles. Even though they were pretty busy business wise, they were able to sneak me in and get the job done before there was more bad weather. They kept in fantastic communication and even sent me cookies! I feel completely comfortable asking questions and speaking with their crew. They cleaned up the area when they were finished and it looked better than when they started! Since my husband and I can't get to the roof, the crew took pictures of the job when it was finished and transferred them to my phone so we could be confident that they did what they said they would. I let them put out one of their signs in my yard for a month, even though I'd leave it out longer if they wanted. Spectacular service!

They never contacted us to move along with the project.

Good, start day was delayed 3 weeks due to weather. Crew left work area clean.

Mr. Rogers promptly came to the house, inspected the job and took notes. He was asked if he did work in Indiana since this job was in Chicago. He said he also worked in Indiana. He never provided an estimate. Since we took off from work to meet with him, this was a waste of time and money for us.

Disrespectful. Would never do business with Rogers Roofing. I had contacted this company for a repair. I had previously found them on Angie?s List with high ratings and requested a roofing estimate earlier in the year (took weeks of follow-up to finally get it). I had to wait for a week to have Rogers Roofing contractor tack down siding from blowing away and replace siding, if possible, or another option I found acceptable. The damage happened after a rain storm with strong winds the previous week. That never happened. First, I have to state that I NEVER authorize anyone on my property without an appointment or permission. No one is to show up on my property when they desire. I scheduled an appointment when I am home to be on the premises when they arrive. Ed Rogers shows up unannounced the day before. Opens the gate and I find him in my backyard. I told him the appointment was tomorrow at 9:00 am. He said he was in the area. He took a photo, which I could have provided early in the week. Said the aluminum siding is not made anymore. And, he also cannot tack down to keep it from flying because he is just looking. Says the siding has to get replaced. Says he will see me tomorrow. Did not say I can?t do it, I will not do the job, don?t have the resources. Friday, no one shows up. I contact the office. Ed returned my call. Says no one told me they would do the repair. Says they are all busy and can?t get to it until PROBABLY Monday. When I caught him in a lie, he says I misunderstood. Ya, women are stupid, we misunderstand everything, right? I said snow is predicted for tonight and I waited all week and now you won?t do any repairs? Who am I going to find today, last minute? Said he had to look at it first and take a photo. I said to the office, when I made the appointment, that I had a photo; they refused. So your photo is better than my photo; shows the same thing right? I put him on the spot and said, since I do not want to misunderstand again?.tell me what PROBABLY MONDAY means? That you will be here or you won?t be here? Are you or are you not coming ?PROBABLY MONDAY?? Please explain I said. Screaming at me during the entire conversation, he tells me ?GET SOMEONE ELSE?. Angie?s List customers, if a man screams at a woman to convince us that we ?misunderstood? take your business elsewhere. This is not a company that resolves conflict in a respectful manner and he could have handled himself more professionally. Image what would happen if something during the construction went wrong? His roofing prices are very inflated with options to cut a ridge with a large vent for the attic, which according to many home efficiency companies, insulating your attic is the best option, not adding more vents or a one large vent. Yes, women do their research.

Their punctuality is excellent. So far it is good. It's a two story building and I can't see up there but I did have the guys take me pictures. From what I could see, they did a very good job but they were much higher than some of the other estimates that I have received. It's a one day job.

Removed upper and lower level gutters, downspouts and aluminum facia. Inspected all facia boards. Installed new upper and lower level aluminum facia. Installed new upper and lower level seamless gutters. Relocated upper and lower level downspouts to opposite side of the house per my request. Rogers Roofing did a great job. The new gutters and downspouts look great. They cleaned up all old materials and left the job site neat and clean. Great job all around. Not the cheapest estimate we had, but worth the price. My only negative is that we would have liked to have had better communication with them as to when the work would be performed. Appproximately one month passed from the time of agreement to go ahead and the actual day the work was done with no contact until the day before. We plan to use Rogers Roofing again fo our garage soffit, facia and gutters.

After contacting three other vendors for a roof repair quote, someone recommended Rogers to me. This was after a particularly bad high wind storm which caused tremendous damage in the NWI area. I got such poor service and responses from the other three vendors that I did not have very high hopes of Rogers coming out soon (if at all). However, the receptionist said someone would be there the next day and sure enough, Kevin was there the next day. He and I met and he showed me detailed pictures of my roof (having actually walked on the steep roof unlike another vendor). He recommended that whole roof be replaced which surprised me but it was obvious that my shingles were the level of brittle and crumbly he was showing me. I informed the insurance I was filing a claim and Kevin quickly got emergency tarps up on the exposed areas. Unfortunately, it was a long winter and the job was not finished until March which winter finally allowed it. But on many occasions I called Kevin in a panic that the tarps were lose and I worried about moisture coming into the house. It was a stressful 4 months. BUT, Kevin came out every single time to check the tarps and confirm back to me that they were fine. The insurance didn't approve replacing the whole roof but I verified with another roofing expert that what Kevin had said was correct and the shingles would not last many more years. As soon as the weather started to get better, I called Rogers to make sure they still remembered my job and indeed they did have me in the queue. The called and said they were coming out and stripped the roof and repaired a bit more then they had planned without charging me. The insurance was very cheap and would only replace right side fascia on my roof peaks. Kevin agreed to charge me the lower insurance rate to replace the left sides as the color was extremely faded after 10 1/2 years of sun exposure. There was only one issue with the project manager being on vacation when they started my job so they forgot to finish the fascia. When I called them to say the job wasn't finished, they were extremely apologetic and explained that someone else was covering to prevent delay on the job but the very next day my work was finished. Overall, I would highly recommend Rogers and working with Kevin was wonderful although I'm sure I drove him nuts with repeat texts and calls but he never made me feel so. Very professional, very reasonable, accommodating and trustful.

We really like our salesperson Kevin. He was punctual,knowledgeable, and and all around nice guy. We got our estimate in a timely fashion. We accepted the proposal pretty much immediately after receiving it in the second week of May. Then. The. Waiting. Began. It took multiple calls to secure the job. Then. More. Waiting. We were told they were a few weeks out and we'd be called a few days in advance to schedule the job dates. Fast forward several weeks to 5:30 PM when I receive a call stating they will be at the house the next morning to start the job. Really? I requested the project manager contact my husband. My husband never received a phone call and it took AT LEAST 5 phone calls to try to figure if the crew was actually coming or not. Kevin helped by calling us back with a start date a few days out that gave us adequate time to make arrangement for time off. First week of July, job gutters are completed. They look great-well done! Find several screws in my driveway and nails around the house. Roofing guy comes next day for his portion, doesn't finish and says he will be back the next day. Doesn't make it back the next day and in the mean while a storm blows in and the debris he left on the room blows everywhere. Once he finishes his portion the job-it looks good but there is junk laying all over the roof. With the exception of one gutter that is pitched incorrectly things look great. Contacted company regarding this one revision, sales guy comes back out last week and agrees we need a revision. Still. Waiting. On. Response. In summary: 1. Loved Kevin, our sales guy 2. Do not love the ridiculously long response time it takes to get things into motion 3. Quality of work is good 4. Organization of job is not good 5. Clean up is sub-optimal B for job done well, D for clean-up and communication-BOO. Not super happy about all of the work we have done to give you business. Feel very underappreciated as a customer.

They did fine. The cost was a little bit higher. The price was not what I expected to pay. The quality was great.

Their salesman, Kevin, came out & gave us an estimate. He was very thorough. He sat with us afterward and made sure he answered all our questions. We decided to give them the job. Work was scheduled soon after. Very pleased with the work that was done.

From the beginning the sales agent, Scott was very professional and upfront about the materials being used and costs. He worked with me and my insurance company to get the best cost (and within my budget). On the day the job was to be done, the roofing crew and foreman were very punctual and the work being done was very efficient. The crew had all the roofing installed and all exterior work done in one day as promised. The second day was for boxing in the skylights on the interior and this was completed in about half a day. All-in-all, Rogers did a fantastic job and I will be using them again for my windows and entry doors.

They were very professional. They sent someone to look at the roof and he took some photos and we selected the type of roof we wanted. They called later and said they would be out and should have it done in two days. They arrived when they said they would and found some wood rot and they would need to replace it. They cleaned up after themselves and did a good job. They were very thorough and have followed up with us since.

Excellent! The job was a rush and the structure had difficult access so the price was higher, but it was worth every penny! There is a saying that you get what you pay for and Rogers Roofing was worth every penny. When the job was done, the site was well cleaned and the Rogers crew even cleaned up after the drywall contractor that left a pile of debris on the ground. A+++

He was probably the most professional out of the bunch that we interviewed which I appreciated. I am in sales too. I definitely felt like he didn't try to sell me. It was more like consulting with me and he probably educated me the most on what I needed but at the end of the day, he was way overpriced. He was the best out of all that quoted as far as education. He helped me make the best educated decision and probably the most professional. He was the highest priced by thousands and thousands of dollars.

Replace flat roof and gutters and downspouts to back room.

I called them after getting the runaround with other companies who wouldn't work in my town. They came out and went over all the costs and my options. I had several choices to pick from. I also was given a 10% discount, more than what was stated on Angies list. I gave them a 1/3 deposit down was told to waitt for a call as to when the job would be done, my appraiser thought it might be a month as they were very busy, but I got a call a week later. They worked all day on the house and finished the garage the next day. Very professional work. I have a strange property line with my neighbor and they managed to tear off my roof without getting any shingles in my neighbors yard. Cleaned up everything and swept off my porch before they left. I didn't have to pay the balance until they came back for an inspection to make sure everything was done as I liked. They came back a week later. I am very happy with their work and recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof. In the future when I am in the market for windows, I will call them first.

Notified three (3) roofers for estimates. Several individuals had recommended Rogers Roofing, prior to exploring Angie's List. Inspection of roof was schedule, Mr. Rogers arrived before time (loved it). He was very professional, inspecting roof, explaining procedure/process and finally estimate. Questions were answered to my liking, along with explanations. After obtaining third estimate I decided to choose Rogers Roofing. Let me be honest Rogers Roofing was NOT the least expensive. What I did like was his punctuality, professionalism and the way our Q&A session went. The date for repair was set for Wednesday October 2, 2013 between 9:00-10:00 a.m. The crew of six (6) arrived between stated time. A protection barrier was placed around the garage area for falling debris. Numerous times I checked on the crew progress and condition of yard. Around the noon hour I noticed quietness, and thought the crew was on a lunch break. Well to my surprise they had completed the job, cleaned-up, hauled the debris off and locked the gate. Roof was inspected and was very pleased with the job. Since the completetion of roof, we've had numerous heavy rains. EVERYTHING A-OK

This is my second time using Rogers Roofing. I got the recommendation from my brother-in-law and my family has used him quite a bit. Their price is mid-range, but other people did not point out, that needed to be done. There were issues around my chimney flashing. He pointed that out to me which, obviously, I wanted to get fixed. They were great. I used them before and I'll use them again. They communicate via email quite a bit. They still email me, as a courtesy call, asking if everything is okay, if I have any other issues and if anything comes up, to give them a call. I have his cell number. He came out here the day his son was graduating law school. He came out here and he was all dressed up. The follow-through with them is excellent.

He was wonderful. He did a fantastic job. We were very happy with him. He's very easy to work with and he's extremely conscientious. The roof looks beautiful. They did what they said they were going to do. They cleaned up fairly well. They covered the plants like they said they would. We didn't have any issues at all.
