Called to get an estimate. Made an appointment with the person answering the phone. The appointment time came and went, nobody showed up and no phone calls either. It's perfectly OK if you are not interested in doing the work or was side tracked by something else. But a phone call to cancel or reschedule the appointment would have been the right thing to do.

The services they provided were questionable. He overcharged me for lawn care. The owners attitude was poor. There were weeks when it was clear that they had not cut the grass, (I could still see the tops of dandelion weeds that were not trimmed back) but he charged me anyway. I paid my bill but complained to him about the service. His excuse was that they weren't going to readjust the blade for each individual customer. I asked for bi-weekly service but he did not want to provide it. He ended up telling me that if I wasn't satisfied with their work I could find another company, which I did do. The final straw was when he waited outside my home for me to arrive home from work to collect payment.

I hired Jesse's Maintenance last year for the first time and I was very happy with their service provided. I live on a big hill which is not the ideal landscape for easy yard work. However, Jesse and his men always do a nice job of making the hill and the rest of the lawn look professionally maintained on a bi-weekly basis. I would highly recommend this company based on two years of great dependable lawn service and friendly customer service.

It went very well and Jesse and his crew come highly recommended! They listened to our needs (unlike other companies we received quotes from), made good recommendations, showed up on time, set clear expectations, worked hard and the work done was top notch. He set up a time to come by to give me a price on lawn work and edging. He NEVER came by and NEVER even called to let me know that he was not coming. I sat home and waited for him and after a short while I tried calling to see what's happening and he never answered his phone.

Jesse and his crew were very professional. He always called when he said he would call. Always was on time and made all appointments. Excellent communication. Jesse said he would have the whole job completed in 1 day, which I didn't think was possible. He started at 8 and finished at 4, exactly the time he said it would take. His crew was very professional and does great work. Used quality material and did quality work. The team did excellent clean up also. We will be calling his company next year when we need more landscaping done!

The project went very well. Jesse is great to work with and he and his employees were professional, punctual, and got the job done as planned. Would recomment them to others.

The crew worked hard and their wood working skills are very good. They've also done other quality work for us and we would use them in the future.

Jesse came to give us a quote on Friday night, and showed up the following Monday bright and early to do the work. He said all of the work would be completed within 3 days. Sure enough by Wednesday afternoon everything was finished. His communication during this time was fantastic. He was very good about returning phone calls and texts while he worked on this project. We had several areas in both our back and front yards needing attention. He removed 2 small trees, about a dozen large, overgrown, dead bushes, and used a stump grinder to permanently remove the stumps. He noticed that we had several hostas that could be divided and placed in better locations around our yard. The largest project was probably doing the edging trim around our patio flower bed and side of the house. He even redid a few of the curves and angles after we got home the first night and decided we wanted to change a couple of things. Jesse picked out all of the edging brick for us, and the colors coordinate perfectly with the patio and house colors. This main flower bed also needed all new gravel (which he helped us pick), an abundance of weeds picked, new weed guard put down, more bushes trimmed, and divided some of the hostas into this large area. In an empty space, he also created a path from our patio that was incorporated into the large bed. Basically there is just too much work to list. Jesse and his awesome crew took our backyard jungle that kept us inside, to a beautifully landscaped garden that we can't wait to share with our friends. We HIGHLY recommend Jesse for landscaping projects. We will definitely contact him again for future projects.

Emailed Jesse for a quote for cleaning up our front landscape and he responded back right away. He called the next day, as he said he would, and showed up on time for the appointment. He gave us a couple of different options and we called him the next day to hire him. He was very upfront about everything and we talked again about the services he would handle for us so that we were all on the same page. He and an employee arrived on time and did a great job and cleaned everything up. He consulted with us from time to time to make sure we were happy with how the bushes & trees were trimmed. Both Jesse and his employee were very polite, courteous and professional. We asked Jesse to take a look at one of our staircases coming off the deck that was leaning. He gave us an estimate on the spot and again a couple of options. We hired him to do that work as well. He came out as promised and cleaned everything up when he was done. We had a great experience and will highly recommend Jesse to anyone who asks. We will definitely hire him again if needed.

I left Jessie a voicemail and he called me back a few hours later. He was very professional. Even though he was currently working on a big project, he made time after 5pm that day to come out to review the services and give a quote. He worked on our project after 5pm a few days in a row. He kept us informed through out the process. His work is beautiful. We will will continue to work with him in the future.

Saw all the great reviews and was looking forward to the service. Called and scheduled a time to come look at the lawn to get an estimate. No showed. Rescheduled estimate appointment. Got a quote. Scheduled service for every other week beginning today. No show/No call on the first day. Left a message before someone was supposed to show up, no answer, no response. It's hard to believe that the same business everyone is giving great reviews for is the same business that I've experienced. Would not recommend.

The price was anywhere from 75-85 dollars a month which was for a cut every other week. I was charged more if I requested that the weeds be treated, which I thought was standard or included,but I guess not. Overall, Jesse's team did a great job.

Jesse did a wonderful job on the front lawn of my house, my husband and I were very happy and satisfied with the overall outcome, and we also found the price to be reasonable. Jesse also went out of his way to do this job, our location was out of his area, this is something both my husband and I appreciated. He was friendly and knew what he was talking about therefore gave us a better idea to what we were looking for and at what price. The only negative comment we have is he needs to communicate via phone better. Jesse had to come back and pick up the bushes that he removed, he originally said he will come Saturday morning and did not show up until noon, we had to call him to see what time was he going to show up. Also, he had to come back at the end of April and remove the final bush. April 30th came and went and we did not receive a call so, on May 5th my husband called him and Jesse said that he will be at our house on Sunday morning if not by 3pm. By 4pm Sunday we called him. He was apologetic and said he will remove the bush on Monday by 9am. I finally got the call on Monday ten min till nine telling me the final bush was removed. In every situation we were made aware of his reasoning, which we were ok with, but our issue was not the reasoning it was the follow up. Other then that we don't have any regret and are pleased with the job.

I called Jesse in the evening. He came out the next day to do the estimate, and 18 hours later the job was done to my satisfaction. He was very professional, and obviously very prompt.

Quoted me $60 -- "maybe $100", then when he arrived, told me it was going to be $100. Did only the driveway, no walkways or sidewalks.

We recently moved to Chesterton, but our previous house in Gary is for sale and vacant. As a result, we needed someone to plow the driveway and make sure the way to the back door and garage side door were clear for potential showings. Jesse's Maintenance agreed to go to the house and take care of it, without advance payment, or anyone being at the house to pay him. It snowed again a couple of days later and we had to ask him to take care of it again, which he did. He was very accommodating given the fact that we were new customers and with the 2 snowstorms, he had to have been very busy with his regular customers.

He picked up the phone when I called and was polite and professional . He was able to come the next day though he was about 40 minutes late. He notified me in advance so the tardiness didnt bother me too much. When I told him what I wanted he said that it would be 60-100 dollars. I read several great reviews for him so I expected great work. He used a plow for my driveway and he shoveled a thin path on my front porch leading to my door. I asked him to make a pathway for my dog on my back patio. I was very disappointed in his work. I asked that he clear my whole porch (it is not very large, maybe 15x20ft) and a path the length of the house in back. He said it was too cold for him to do those things and that the snow would eventually melt anyway. He did an ok job on my driveway but he left about two 1ft piles of snow in the entrance of my garage so I still have to maneuver around that when pulling in and out. He didn't salt anything so though my driveway is fairly clear, it's completely ice. After reading his reviews I'm still baffled by the poor quality of work he did for me. I wonder if its because I'm a woman? I'll never hire him again and I cannot recommend him. I feel that I was ripped off.

I called Jesse and he said he would be out the following day by 9:30 AM. He was early. WOW! When does that ever happen? He was professional and pleasant. He gave me a price to clear the driveway and it was a bit more then I had expected but the snow was quite deep so I said okay. To my surprise he not only cleaned the driveway but cleared my sidewalks and salted them. Very impressive to me because nowadays it seems everyone wants to do as little work as possible for as much money as possible! Jesse was professional and did quality work. I would suggest anyone who wants quality work done to call Jesse.

We called Jesse on short notice and he responded right away .He was able to fit us in quickly. He showed up when he said he would and got all the work done promptly. He was very professional and friendly. He did exactly what we discussed. Would definitely hire again.

Jesse came out right away to provide an estimate. He arranged to do the work right within a couple of weeks, and finished it in two days. He even met me at the garden center one day so we could pick out the bushes and plants together and get a true vision of what the new garden space would look like. His expertise was invaluable. His work was first rate and he was very considerate to discuss any small changes that needed to be made to the plans. When I was concerned a couple of weeks later that one bush might be dying, Jesse came by and checked it out right away. All the plants look great, and we have received many nice compliments about the work. We definitely plan on having him help with other projects in the side and backyards.
