well someone came out measured and told me they would get back to me even come back out to give me a price still waiting is it me or these places just don't care at least call me back

The project was well managed. The crew was very conscientious and thorough.

My house was peeling and chipping paint and they came out scraped the whole house and garage which is a story and a half house with a two and a half car garage. They then primered the house and put on two coats of paint, and also did some side work that wasn't in the original contract. They were very professional, polite and cleaned up everything when work was completed. They used top grade paint (Sherman Williams, Emerald). They painted my doors, mailbox, house numbers and also painted my railings on my front and side porch. They painted my shutters, they caulked and recaulked where necessary and also all protruding nails were reset. They did an excellent job and I was very happy with them. I would highly recommend them to others and have used them myself for other work and would hire them for future work as well.

Drywall patches were finished in 3 days and did a fantastic job. I would hire them again.

They said it would be completed in 5 days, it took 6. Other than that, the work was excellent. They really do a nice job. I've had them do other painting work in my home and I think they have done 3 separate jobs for me now. I wouldn't keep calling them back if they didn't do excellent work at a fair price. I highly recommend this company.

Outstanding! Crews were neat, courteous and quick. The weather played games with actual completion of the project but I have no doubt if Mother Nature would have cooperated they'd have finished ahead of schedule. We were very happy and impressed with the job. Our house looks fantastic!

Rick's men did fine work. After they got into the job, it was clear more work had to be done than what was expected initially. We were very pleased with how they performed. They were prompt, courteous, kept us informed at every step.

Rick(owner) came promptly after I called for an estimate. He explained everything in detail about what would be done. He wrote up a proposal that I agreed to. The job took slightly less than two full days(two men). The men did excellent work leaving me with a beautifully restored deck. Would use them again when needed.

He was sincere about getting back with you but never did. Edit: 10/28/14 He did get in contact with me and explain why he wasn't able to come out. He was very apologetic and professional.

The job went very well. Except for rain delays which can't be helped, the job was done in good time. The crew, Joe and Noah come to work and don't fool around. They took great care in removing all loose paint, filling old holes, preparing the siding for paint, masking areas to be protected and applying top quality primer where needed and the new quality topcoat paint. All of the window trim and roofline trim was also cleaned and painted. Caulking was applied where needed. Great care was taken in masking off the windows and new gutters and downspouts. These guys took great pride in their work. When the job was completed, the job site was cleaned up so well you'd never know they were here. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the results. The house looks great! We would definately use this company agaain for any paint needs in the fut ure.

It went really well. I had a little bit of concern thinking it needed two coats of paint. When the owner came by he didnt hesitate to have workers apply the second coat. Very responsive to my concerns. The workers were always polite and neat about everything.

The guys were very good. It looks beautiful.

Provider was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. All work was done to my satisfaction and I will definitely call them for first estimates on future paint jobs.

These guys are really great to work with. They arrive on time, do what they say they are going to do and are extremely neat. Ric came several times to check progress and then did a final check before final payment. Would recommend them to everyone.

Rick measured our house and garage then returned with a thorough quote. We were very impressed with his knowledge and expertise and during our conversation we also asked about our problematic kitchen ceiling. Although his was not the lowest bid we hired him because of the three quotes obtained we felt he cared more about our needs and doing a good job for us. We chose wisely. We completed a worksheet with paint choices and sent it to Rick. He uses the best line of Sherwin Williams paint. Rick had our house power washed a few days before the scheduled painting days. Ricky's crew arrived right on time and did an incredible job preparing to pain. By the end of day one, the entire house and garage had been painted except for trim and touch ups. Day two included trim, touch ups plus the kitchen ceiling. Jason, the crew supervisor, and I had delightful as he worked in the kitchen. I learned that he loves his job! He has a college degree, but is a professional painter by choice. I could tell he had extraordinary work ethic, as every step he took was perfect, like he was doing his own home. The other crew members were also polite, friendly, and worked very hard. I happily endorse Calumet Custom Colors for all painting needs. We will definitely use them again!

Very professional. He just had everything together for when he was doing his quote. He provided me with copies of his insurance, everything. I just liked him, I trusted him, it sounded like he knew what he was talking about.

The Calumet representative was on time and very professional. The price he gave me was very reasonable. I feel confident I will use them in the future when we are ready for the work to be completed.

These guys were great. I met them at the Tinsley Park Home Show and just had a good feeling about them right away. They did a super job and for less than anyone else could do it. I can't say enough good things about them and I would definitely use them again. I even saw them again this year at the home show and they asked me about my house and I told them it was still great.

It went very well. I meet Rick at a Home Show in Munster. He was on time for the appointment, asked good questions and I told him the work that needed to be done. He took room measurements and left color samples. He returned in a few days and fully explained the proposal and left a listing of previous clients. A few days latter we signed the contract, left a deposit and scheduled an appointment. The two man crew arrived on time and got right to work. They moved the furniture and covered the furniture. They carefully prepped the walls and used the masking tape on the woodwork. They did half the work on the first day and half on the second, as scheduled. They left the extra paint, took their supplies and we had a condo with freshly painted walls!

Their bid was 30% higher than the next highest bid. When the rep came back with the quote, he insisted on doing a flip chart presentation. I asked him NOT to do this, just go through a quote with me (I have a background in professional sales and am impatient as heck with flip charts - don't have time for this stuff). He refused to put the flip chart away - said it keeps him organized. I was furious and more so when he made me listen to the entire spiel before he'd give me the quote. When I told him his company was priced very high, I received a call a few days later - he had magically found a way to cut price by over 30%. I went with another company; I was very uncomfortable with this vendor.

Calumet did a great job and I was very pleased. They were professional and personable and did the job quickly. I appreciated that they were neat and clean, making sure not to get paint on my things.

THEY DO A CONSULTATION BEFORE THEY START THE WORK. THEY ARE RELIABLE DEPENDABLE. THEY DO AMAZING PREPARATION WORK, THE COMPANY ARE REAL ARTISTS. THE ESTIMATE THEY GAVE ME WHAT JUST WHAT THE COST WAS. THEY ARE BONDED. LICENSED, AND INSURED.

THEY HAD A GREAT CREW OF PAINTERS AND CARPENTERS, WHO WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. THEY WERE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE OUR LAST MINUTE COLOR REQUESTS.
