Guardian Pest Control

They did not follow their contract. We did more than what they asked and still didn’t have good results with them. When we asked why they would not guarantee their work, they staff lady just said unfortunately that’s just our policy. What’s the point of a contract then?

We told them we had Opossums in our yard ( first time ever ) and had 2 little Dogs that we were worried about. They came out,looked around for about 30 seconds when I showed them where they went under the shed.Placed a trap with cat food caught the little one that Night.The next day the another guy came took it away.We were very happy but told them there was a much bigger one still here. They placed a Trap this time with some left over chicken that looked like somebody ate and decided to use it for bait.no results 2 days.asked them to place cat food back in the trap. next no results took trap ,said it was the end of the contract. The big snow came no sign of the Opossum.As soon as the snow started melting here he came from under the shed. I called them to ask them to return to finish the job and catch this big one that I had told them about from the get go,I was put on hold 2 times and then they said they wood come back for 225.00 dollars.I had already paid them 250.00 dollars.I asked how about some customer service here? nope sorry ! I will not use them again it seems to be about the MONEY and not the Customer !

Great company with a great team. Called Guardian after hearing animals in my attic. Nathan came out and conducted the initial inspection. He even took the time to educate me on the next steps. After about a week of daily traps and monitoring, they caught a squirrel. Nathan came back a second time to do a full inspection of my attic and told me that I (luckily) didn't have droppings in my attic. Also said the insulation needed to be topped off along with the two holes in my roof (likely from raccoons) repaired. Brian came a few days later and topped off the insulation and did a great job repairing/boxing off the opening/holes in my roof. A third team member from Guardian also came by to install spikes (to prevent the raccoons and squirrels from getting back on my roof) on my gutters. Overall, this team was prompt, responsive, respectful, and very patient with me (especially with my million questions). Great customer service. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone with a pest control issue.

The ant incursion waned, but never was stopped. I got a follow-up application on 8/15/2015, which treated the kitchen only. As I write this now on 8/25/2015, they are back in full force. Upon calling Guardian today,, I was told I could pay them $55 for another treatment. Based on their effectiveness with the first two applications, I have no confidence to invest in a third one!

The repair man came out and was professionally dressed. He removed the bird's nest and put down a sticky substance that he said would be uncomfortable on the birds' feet so, they wouldn't come back. I was happy with that and the birds didn't come back to that space for the rest of the summer. However, they moved their home to a ledge over our doorway. I called Guardian back out and this time, they placed spikes on the ledge. The birds left there as well. What is interesting is that two Guardian techs came to address the same problem but handled the problem completely differently. Needless to say, the spikes have been effective to this day. However, the following spring, the birds came right back and built a nest where the sticky paper was placed. What's very disappointing is that when I called Guardian back to have them fix the problem without charge, they said the sticky paper was just a repellant and that it was only good for 60-90 days. Now, why would one Guardian tech address the problem with a permanent solution and the other address the same problem with a temporary solution and charge the same price for both. This kind of service is UNACCEPTABLE and makes you distrust service techs. It seems logical that the same problem with the same company would be addressed the same way. I'm not a pest control expert. If I'm told sticky tape will keep the birds away, then I think that problem is handled permanently. DON'T USE GUARDIAN PEST CONTROL. IF YOU HAVE A PEST PROBLEM, FIND ANOTHER COMPANY THAT STANDS BEHIND THEIR WORK AND DOESN'T PLAY FAST AND LOOSE WITH THE SERVICE.

I am not just doing it again. I do not like all those chemicals and the way they do things where they say that they do not have a contract, but still, they call you every month and he had to do it. Then, they were so happy about killing all the bees and people do not really want to kill all the bees. They were outside the house and that was not exactly what we committed them for. This was every month for the months of the summer and it was really just because we saw a couple of ants. It was actually kind of creepy with ants that year, but since 2013, we have not had any problem with bugs at all. The cost was $214 the first time and then, it was $64.20 every time after that. That might be based on the size of our house because they would go to every room and we do have a big house. I do not like the way they do their non-contract stuff supposedly and every time, they would send a different person and so, I did not really like all these different people coming through the house either. The people they sent out seemed okay. I think they were responsive and they were pretty punctual too.

They are doing everything, they don't just come in and spray; they are very thorough, they take time to explain what to spray, and they will tell you after they are done; their price is good compare to other prices that I got. I'm very happy for it! I've never had a problem on whatever they do and I don't have ants and bugs after they spray.
