 + 0 moreBrought sewing machine in for repair in September 2015. They kept it until December 2015. It is now January 2016 (only one month later) and I had to take my sewing machine "today" (to a different repair shop) to get repaired for the exact same problem it had when I brought it to them in September of last year. It only worked 1 month so apparently they charged me $400 to make a repair that didn't fix the problem. I will never have my machines repaired here again. I found a different sewing machine repair shop on Angie's List that has excellent reviews. Brought it to them today........
Description of Work: They were supposed to repair my sewing machine.......they charged me, but didn't fix the problem.....

Description of Work: I purchased a new sewing machine from them. I had previously done research on the various brands of sewing machines regarding reliability, ease of use, and reliability of stitch tension. I had also spoken with friends and family who have acquired Viking sewing machines and found that this is the make I wanted. I went to the store and looked at the various models and determined that I wanted one of the medium priced models and purchased it. I was treated well, had all my questions answered, and will be having lessons on the use of the product.

 + -1 moreThe classes that come with the machine are very informative and are included in the price. The classes are good for beginners, as well as professional seamstresses.
Description of Work: I purchased my sewing machine here a year ago. The higher end Viking machines have metal parts and are more durable and worth the extra money. I did not invest in embroidery software. My machine came with lots of good coupons and a free cleaning, good for the first year. Unfortunately, I didn't learn to use it until the year was almost up and promptly broke a needle, which fell into the machine. I called Jim at Viking and got lots of good information. Jim can remove that needle, as soon as I quit sewing long enough to take the machine in.
