Description of Work: I made 2 trips to this store. The first was to get some basic advice and chemicals to lower the pH, since we had just purchased a home with a pool. The lady I spoke with was knowledgeable and friendly, however they were out of the muradic acid that I needed. She let me know when it would be in stock, so that I could stop back by later and recommended I bring in a sample for testing to make sure nothing else was out of balance. So I was disappointed they didn't have what I needed, but happy they treated me well and didn't try to sell me unnecessary items. |When I went back with my water sample, the only person in the store was a teenage girl. She was nice, but it was obvious she had little experience. It took her forever to test my water sample, she ran a sample through the computer and also used at least 5 test strips that all appeared exactly the same on the sample. She told me my results all seemed ok, but would check with owner and call me if I needed to buy anything. I talked her into letting me buy the muratic acid that I knew I needed, since the pH was still reading higher than the reference ranges she had printed out on the report in front of her. To give her credit, she did have someone check the results and call me back to tell me I needed to shock my pool. However, she was unable to actually explain why I needed to shock my pool. I was already on the other side of town and our water was still crystal clear, so I didn't make the effort to drive back over. |It seems to depend on who's there when you go. I can't say that I won't ever go back, but it will not be my first choice.

Description of Work: We used them to Open our pool plus weekly maintenence and cleaning. Water opened green to black every year. Could never get water to balance. Continued to say it was something we were doing to it. However, we were paying them for weekly maintence and cleaning. Note, cleaning was random, but always billed weekly. Could not get water chemicals to balance so they finally blamed it on our environment, global warming and acid rain. |Did not maintain correct balance of our water (too acidic) and ruined our pool equipment and pipes. Had to replace all. Discontinued use of their company, too costly with no benefits.

Description of Work: I stopped by their retail store to pick up some chemicals and was very surprised to find high quality and interesting Christmas items in a pool store. The staff was very helpful and friendly and I left with some decorations and some neat costume jewelry for my wife.
