THE CORNER CABINET

I really enjoyed working with Corner Cabinets. It was a smaller job so it was hard to find someone to respond and willing to help me. They gratefully took on the challenge. They came out to give me an estimate very quickly and were extremely helpful. They made sure to go into detail and explain everything that I would need to know. They were great.

The custom cabinets that they built were beautiful. They have lots of choices, colors, and countertops. They were very helpful in their suggestions. They blended their suggestions and my wants and needs and made several drawings that I can say this is what I wanted, this is exactly it and they did. However, their only downfall is their communication.

Mark and Ross were both helpful in supplying cabinets at a great price and custom made a solid surface top. My delivery time wasn't critical but installation a week or so. No big problem on my end. I did have a slight issue with the top after installation that I had called and emailed the guys about but didn't get a reply. Problem wasn't big enough to really get to worked up about. I would certainly recommend The Corner Cabinet to anyone needing a good cabinet company. I enjoyed working with both Mark and Ross Thanks Steve

They were very reasonable. They were so easy to work with. They took all of my ideas and made them a reality. They had ideas of their own. I came up with things on the fly, and they made them happen. The quality of the craftsmanship and their creativity stood out to me. They are reasonably priced. You get more than your money's worth. They are very flexible with the time. They are two guys who own their own company because they love to do the work.

From choosing the cabinets to installing cabinets and countertop the job went well and as promised. They are very professional and extremely good at what they do. I couldn't have had a better company do the job.

We had bought appliance from elsewhere and they put appliances in that wouldn't fit, so they gave us money and we contacted this company to come out and fix the cabinet. We wanted them to expand it to make it look normal. We ended up paying $500 to the other company and they paid The Corner Cabinet. The work they did was great, but we haven't used them for anything else over a $500 project. We thought that they professional and did good for the small interaction we had.

Really enjoyed our experience at the Corner Cabinet. We wound up with a wonderful cabinet that is well suited for our needs. They were direct with us about potential issues with our design and alternative suggestions, and as a result our cabinet was what we actually wanted rather than what we initially thought we wanted. Their interaction style suited us well, but may be too informal for some. For example, choosing a stain color was more challenging than we had anticipated. Our first selection was lost in the shuffle which meant we had to pick again. In order to pick the second time instead of looking at samples, we were taken into the back room and were encouraged to look at other cabinets under construction and pick the color closest to what we were looking for. This was not a typical method, but we wound up with something we liked. The quality of the cabinet was great, and we love our quartz countertop!

Mark and Ross were great to work with. They provided sketches of the design and continued to refine the elements as they talked with me about my expectations for the project. The Corner Cabinet was able to complete the project within my time frame and provided the best balance of cost and design features. They were willing to listen to my ideas (e.g., designing the mantel and cabinets to accommodate home theater components) and provide their ideas (e.g., pull-out media drawers, re-designing the mantel, interchangeable doors on the inner cabinets, a panel above the fireplace to tie everything together). After a few meetings to work out the design, I met with Mark to select a stain color. They were up-front with me regarding any issues that arose (e.g., delay in receiving the extra set of doors for the inner cabinets, loss of the back panel) and with their comfort for certain aspects of the project. For example, they said right away they were not comfortable installing a TV over the fireplace as part of the project, but they worked with me during the installation of the cabinets to make sure the stud locations were clearly marked, that holes were made to ensure that wires and cables could be added, and even helped me fish some of the wires through the wall. Even though it meant delaying the installation, when the replacement for the misplaced back panel did not turn out as good as expected, they created a brand-new panel, instead of trying to get the replacement panel to be "good enough." I also appreciated that they would not accept the remainder of their payment (almost 50% of the total cost) until they were satisfied the job was completed. That meant they waited several additional weeks until the extra set of doors for the inner cabinets were completed, even though I had a working set of doors for the cabinets. Hearing that from the company, as opposed to having to "negotiate" with the company to not have to pay because the job was not yet completed, was a pleasant surprise. The cabinets transform the room and look great. I receive compliments from almost everyone who sees the cabinets.

Mark was very helpful and his idea was the first I heard from a cabinetry person (we went through 3 before we found this company). The work was high quality and very detailed (he even fixed a scratch in the cabinets Sears made when originally installing the unit.)

Mark Knutson and Ross Agresta are angels in disguise! They made sure the stain on the new panels and crown molding would match my old cabinets, and installed it to perfection. My tired old kitchen cabinets look fantastic! The toe kick and the quarter round were also stained to match my old cabinets. They showed me several types of solid surface materials for my countertop, and I chose Meganite (similar to Corian but less costly). The sink is seamless and an excellent match to the countertop. The new slide-in range I had purchased was very difficult to work with, but Mark and Ross took every precaution to make sure the new countertop would surround it correctly. If you are thinking about updating your kitchen cabinets, totally replacing your cabinets, or want a new countertop, please talk the these guys. They do quality work, show up when they say they will, and don't leave until the job is done right, and you are completely satisfied!
