Description of Work: The Chimney Doctor fixed my chimney! Earlier in the summer during a routine cleaning my chimney liner and wood burning insert were disconnected and then damaged by a different chimney sweep (who has already received a bad review from me). A 2nd chimney sweep also failed to fix the situation. But after calling a couple realtors and general contractors I found The Chimney Doctor who was highly recommended. They did an excellent job repairing a very difficult situation and their fee was very reasonable. I am extremely happy with The Chimney Doctor and will be calling them for future chimney cleanings. I give them an A+.

Would not hire again.
Description of Work: He originally did not keep the appointment as scheduled supposedly due to miscommunication. When I expressed the desire to make and keep an appointment, he did make a date but was unable to complete all work at that time. When another time was scheduled, he did not keep the appointment and blamed me stating I was to call him. Not reliable. Work is not yet done, we will see if it gets completed.

I HAD TO KEEP ON THEM TO GET THE WORK DONE. FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS, I HAD TO CALL ON DIFFERENT OCCASIONS WHEN THEY DID NOT SHOW UP. WHEN THE WORK WAS COMPLETE, IT WAS GOOD.

HE WAS A DAY LATER THAN HE SAID HE WOULD, AND HE DIDN'T CALL TO LET ME KNOW. IT STILL LEAKS AND HE IS NOT COMING OVER TO FIX THE LEAK.

PHONED THE CHIMNEY DOCTOR TO OBTAIN AN ESTIMATE ON OUR CHIMNEY. CONTACT PERSON DID RETURN OUR CALL THE FIRST TIME, INDICATING HE WOULD CALL BACK TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT AFTER HE CHECKED HIS SCHEDULE. HE NEVER CALLED US BACK. AGAIN, WE CALLED AND THE PERSON ANSWERING THE PHONE SAID SHE WOULD PAGE HIM IMMEDIATELY, BUT WE NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. WE'RE DISAPPOINTED SINCE THE COMPANY HAD RECEIVED SUCH GOOD RATINGS.

THEY WERE ON TIME, VERY PROFESSIONAL, DID WHAT THEY SAID IN A VERY TIMELY AND NEAT FASHION. REALLY FELT LIKE I RECEIVED QUALITY WORK FOR THE MONEY I PAID.
