+ -1 morePROMISED to get back with a quote within a week. Never got it. So I called to get the estimate - giving them the benefit of the doubt. He said he lost the e-mail (but - he had the phone number). So I drove there for an assigned appointment time at their location. Not There. Left phone number. STILL NEVER RETURNED THE CALL I will certainly share this widely in the neighborhood.
Description of Work: WARNING. NOT AN HONEST VENDOR What did the provider do? LIED! AND WASTED A BUNCH OF MY TIME!

+ -1 moreThe counter clerk was a gem. She was at least 90 years old and cute as a button and very friendly and efficient. The other staff was helpful, too, letting me "walk the back lot" to see with my own eyes what the gravel looked like in bulk (vs. the small samples in the store front). They asked when I wanted it...I said as soon as I could get it...they said how about in 2 hours!! Driver was cooperative, too, backing up to exactly where I asked.
Description of Work: Was actually gravel, but Angie didn't have a category for that. Ordered 2-1/2 cu. yds of a specific size river gravel to be delivered to my house about 5-6 miles away. (I was planning to use it for self-accomplished landscaping). $45 of the above shown cost was the delivery. (Was $30 per yd.)

+ -1 moreThe layout of the nursery is wonderful, and after stopping by a few other nurseries in the morning, we found their selection and quality to be a lot better than others. We got Gerber Daisies, Orange Symphony, Peonies and the a few other things. They even gave us a few bucks off the Sheppard?s Hook because it had a tiny bit of rust on it...that was very much appreciated, given that it was Mother's Day.
Description of Work: We stopped in on Mother's Day for some flowers and found a wonderful shepherd s hook too.

Description of Work: I HAVE ORDERED TOPSOIL, LANDSCAPING ROCK, AND MULCH FROM STONES CROSSING LAWN & GARDEN FOR 3 YEARS. THEY HAVE ALWAYS MET MY DELIVERY NEEDS AND OFFER A NICE SELECTION OF LANDSCAPING PLANTS AT THEIR STORE. THIS WEEKEND WHEN WE CALLED THEM FOR A LOAD OF TOPSOIL, THEY RECOGNIZED OUR NAME AND NOTED THAT WE WERE FREQUENT CUSTOMERS - THEY VOLUNTARILY DROPPED THE DELIVERY FEE FOR US. THEY DELIVERED OUR TOPSOIL LATER IN THE AFTERNOON.
