Description of Work: There were some issues with the pool opening this year from the local company that was doing the work. I called Stewart Dixons in pretty much a panic. He listen to what had happened, and incomplete pool opening, offered suggestions on things that we could do immediatly. Even though he had not been hired to do any work. After speaking with him it was decided his company was the one for the job (complete the pool opening). They not only got to the pool in less than a week which was suprising since it was at the beginning of pool season. But they, in 5 mintues, taught us how to use the vacuum which two other pool companies said was broken. Every time there has been any question it has been answered quickly and in a way that we can decide if we want to tackle the problem, they provide that information, or do we want them to come back out. I would highly recommend this company. They outshine the other companies we have dealt with. I would also recommend not being worried if they are out of town there travel cost are minimal and really they were not more expensive than the local companies with the travel costs.

+ -1 moreWe have wanted an in-ground pool quite some time. We decided on Stewart Dixon Aquatic Services LLC because of Stewart's years of experience in pool installation and service. Stewart offered a menu of options for our particular yard and budget. He helped us prioritize what options and features would be most beneficial. He helped us decide where exactly in our yard the pool should set and helped design that works with the existing layout of our yard (i.e. existing deck, landscape, large trees, shed). He designed a customize water feature for the pool that we just love! The scheduling of the construction went like clockwork. There were few rain delays but even Stewart can't control the weather. Scheduling the excavation, pool delivery, electrical, and concrete went off without a hitch. Everyone who helped on the pool did a grand work. Stewart's employees were always on time, respectful, and professional. Stewart Dixon is a man of integrity and has impeccable work ethic. We trust Stewart to take care of our greatest financial investment- our home. Stewart's attention to every detail has resulted in a fabulous retreat in our backyard! We now can now go on vacation as a family just by stepping out our door.
Description of Work: Stewart Dixon installed our Thursday Pool and water feature. He did everything to make the process as smooth as possible for the choosing of the pool size and placement in the yard to the final rough grade as well as closing the pool for the season. Our pool looks fantastic! The water feature consist of three waterfalls into the pool. The feature is finished in a ledger stone which compliments the waterline tile in the pool. A concrete deck surrounds the pool, expanding our entertaining space from our existing wood deck. Our back yard is like a resort now!

+ -1 moreI have used Stewart a few times now for various spa services and I have found him to be very honest. He is always looking for ways to save money for his customer. When the service can be performed by the customer at a lower cost or another provider Stewart makes that recommendation. A lot of people out there are not as honest. He is also very knowledgeable about spa care, as a first time spa owner I never hesitate to call him.

+ -1 moreStewart is very knowledeable, and the only person that I have talke to about my pool who actually owns one. My cover is being repaired, the pool is being painted and patched, and I will have my pool cover back and installed by Stewart in time to enjoy some of the summer. Bottom line is Stewart saved me a lot of money by taking the time to hear the problems I have been having and provide affordable solutions. Saved enough to buy a robot to clean the bottom of the pool, and I will be changing any further service over to Stewart Dixon Aquatic Services. Don't waste your time with the others.
Description of Work: I recently bought a home with a pool, which I had no idea how to take care of. Stewart and Dan arrived at my house to give me a quote for fixing a leak in my drain pipe under the pool deck. Stewart was recommended by the company that was painting my pool, as I was unable to get the orginal contractor to come and do the work, after two weeks. After hearing the problms, Stewart explained to me that the drain in the bottom of the pool wasn't even needed or to code for new pool construction. Stewart used his own pool as an example of what to do instead of spending $3000+ to fix the leak under the pool deck. Stewart also removed my pool cover, $75, and pointed me to a company that can redo the stiching and ropes for ~$400. The other company I was using told me that I would need to replace the cover for $2000.
