Spring-Green Lawn Care

I asked for an estimate and they started doing treatment without my consent. Even after calling them and emailing they came a second time and left a bill. I NEVER consented to service.

They used a granular product that bleached out our sandstone path. Furthermore the fertilizer wasn't applied evenly creating stripes in our lawn.

We are exceptionally happy with the service that spring green provides. Their customer service department is always friendly and responsive to questions and concerns. The lawn crew that comes out to treat the lawn, seed the lawn and survey it are always professional. We couldn't be happier with spring green.

I'll continue to use them in the future.

I have noticed the insects are completely down afte several days of gardening and hardly seeing any insects like mesquitos so I am very happy about that! I have also notice my lawn is greener and more lush since starting just a few months ago so that makes me very happy. My mother also noticed that my lawn looked greener!

So far we've had minimal weeds and the lawn looks healthy.

It has been pretty good. They're right on the spot when they're supposed to be here.

They do our yard treatments four times a year. We like that they use dry applications and they inform us exactly what they are doing. They are good to work with.

I really like them. They are just real punctual. They do a lot better job than the former people I used. I have had two treatments so far and I have been real happy. The price is average.

Not well at all unfortunately. The application technicians were not very conscientious in their application process. In the early applications, they missed large areas of my yard's perimeter causing dandelions to grow around the fence line. They also missed treating bare areas under the trees in my back yard, creating small and quot;weed patchesand quot; that I requested additional help to eliminate. When my grass finally did begin to shape up, an application put down on Jume 7th, SEVERELY burned my front yard, and it currently looks like h***. I spoke personally with owner Kent Fischer approximately one week after I observed the damage to my yard and explained to him that I understand that mistakes happen, but it's how the mistake is rectified that is of primary importance to me. He patiently explained the process they used and assured me he would be out personally to inspect the problem with my yard; I'm still waiting. I have called Spring Green to cancel my remaining applications and get my pre-paid 2013 balance refunded. I would not recommend this lawn care company.

I hired this lawn company for spring weed and feed treatment of the yard. I also carefully explained that we had 2 sprigs of poison ivy (they were just sticks at the time, had not grown any leaves yet) that we wanted them to destroy also. I actually called this company a couple of times asking about dandelions, and it was explained to me not to worry, there will be NO dandelions. We didn't have ANY dandelions at the time of the treatment. I also asked them why the 2 springs of poison ivy were still there? The gal explained to me that the poison ivy had been sprayed, not to touch it, allow the chemical to get into the poison ivy roots so the plant will die. Within weeks 2-4 after their 'treatment', our entire front yard was covered with dandelions. The 2 poison ivy sprigs developed a FULL set of leaves. I called Spring Green (Kent Fisher) back and left messages for the owner to call me back as I had a problem with this. I hired a 2nd company in the meantime (who said you can't kill poison ivy with chemicals and he actually took out the 2 poison ivy plants). Finally, after 2 weeks of leaving messages for Mr. Fisher to call me back, I found a corporate phone number for Spring Green and called them with my complaints. THEN, Mr. Fisher called me back (well, we had a few rounds of phone tag) -- but when we finally got on the phone, he YELLED at me the entire conversation. Said his people would NOT tell me things that they HAD told me. I couldn't get over him yelling at me -- he yelled so badly and hung up on me, that I didn't even get a chance to bring up the poison ivy ordeal. He refuses to give me a refund (even though I had to hire another company to do what his company was supposed to do). I will NEVER use this company again, nor refer them for any yard work whatsoever. Call Starnes instead, they do what you ask them, with no drama attached. Seriously... Update 5/17/13: I received a reimbursement in the mail yesterday for the treatment. Since my money was refunded, I changed their grade here from an F to a D - but I will never hire nor refer this company again.
