They were professional but we didn?t choose them.

The estimate was for $8200, with $2000 allowance depending on the materials. It is a large project in a small area. The guy was very cooperative and very knowledgeable. He was the only one that apparently felt that because of the age of the house, knew what the plumbing would look like in the basement. He was the only one who looked at the basement for the plumbing and electrical box. He was quite nice and gave me the lowest quote. I questioned the quote because it was really low. Other companies had given me quotes ranging from $18000-$22000. He had to remodel the bathroom, place the tub and the shower, thereby, making room for washer and dryer. He had to hook up the washer and dryer. He had to install a new toilet and vanity. As it was the only bathroom in my house, I asked him how long the project would take. He laughed and told me that he would try to work around things. He was a good guy to work with. However, he quoted for the shower that would be 34 inches from the wall. It would be difficult to get into the toilet area with a shower wall. I have yet to talk to him about it as I am still getting quotes from others. He didn?t seem to have any problems with electrical or plumbing and getting the hook ups done in the small area present. He had a sense of humor. I will consider using him in the future.

We spent $2600 on that work. The cost of remodeling is always a bit scary, but this guy is the best value for money that I have found. He was very meticulous, did an excellent job and we are very pleased with the work that he did, and in fact we are using him to finish our basement.

Derrick Shrum does excellent work and I would recommend him for future projects.

Derrick and the guys worked us in on short notice. They showed when they said they would, they always cleaned up and left the working progress area in great shape. It looked great when they finished. When he came out to give us the price he came in listened to what we wanted and just put the bid together. They did an great job and will use them again in the future. Our dog really liked them too!!!
